Abstract

Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) merupakan penyakit menular yang disebabkan oleh Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Corona Virus 2 (SARS-CoV-2). Penyebaran SARS-CoV-2 sangat cepat karena sumber transmisi utamanya berasal dari manusia ke manusia. SARS-CoV-2 dapat menyebar secara langsung atau droplet maupun melalui kontak tidak langsung yaitu melalui benda yang terkontaminasi dan penularan melalui udara. Penyebaran secara langsung dapat terjadi melalui percikan udara ketika berbicara, batuk dan bersin. Percikan ini tidak dapat melebihi jarak hingga dua meter, namun dapat bertahan di udara hingga tiga jam. Penularan tidak langsung terjadi jika seseorang menyentuh permukaan yang terkontaminasi SARS-CoV-2, kemudian tangan menyentuh selaput lendir seperti mata, hidung, atau mulut. Virus ini dapat menginfeksi siapa saja, tetapi efeknya akan lebih berbahaya bahkan fatal pada orang lanjut usia, ibu hamil, orang yang sedang sakit atau orang dengan daya tahan tubuhnya lemah. Studi tendahulu, remaja seringkali lebih tingi mobilitasnya, mereka mungkin menjadi Orang tanpa gejala (OTG) yang dapat menyebarkan virus tanpa disadari. Masih terdapat tambahan kasus baru sebanyak 31 orang dengan total konfirmasi positif covid tahun 2022 yaitu 7.151 kasus, 43 orang kasus sembuh, sehingga total sembuh 5.848 kasus. Terdapat 0 meninggal sehingga total meninggal 29 orang. Dalam rangka dies natalis FK unbrah yang ke 29, tim pengabdian masyarakat Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Baiturrahmah melakukan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat “Campus Goes to Mesjid” yang bertujuan untuk memberikan penyuluhan guna meningkatkan pengetahuan kepada masyarakat   tentang etika batuk pada peserta pesantren ramadhan  tingkat SMP dan SMA (remaja) diantaranya di Mesjid al Muqarrabin  Kecamatan Nanggalo Padang untuk mencegah penyebaran COVID-19 yang masih saja ada, sehingga dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan tentang terhadap etika batuk.

Abstract

DHF and Covid-19 may have similar clinical symptoms in the early stages and similar laboratory features. During the Covid-19 pandemic, the possibility of dual infection between Covid-19 and dengue infection should be considered in patients with fever in dengue endemic areas. During the Covid-19 pandemic, dengue cases also increased by more than 71,663 cases with 459 deaths. This study aims to determine the profile of Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever at Dr M. Djamil Hospital, Padang in 2020-2022. This type of research is descriptive using secondary data, namely patient medical records. The study was conducted from June 2021 to April 2022. The affordable population in the study were DHF patients who underwent an examination on the fifth day of fever at RSUP DR. M. Djamil Padang. Sampling by purposive sampling based on inclusion and exclusion criteria in order to obtain a sample of 97 samples. data processing using SPSS version 24.0. Data analysis was carried out univariately and presented in the form of a frequency distribution table. The highest age was adults as many as 53 people (54.6 %), the most gender was male, namely 52 people (53.6%), the highest body temperature was normal, namely 65 people (67%), the highest number of platelets was <100,000 i.e. 88 people (90.7 %), the highest number of leukocytes was 4,000- 10,000, namely 58 people (59.8%), the highest hematocrit value was < 40%, namely 55 people (56.7%), and the highest levels of hemolgobin is normal that is 56 people (57.7%).

Abstract

Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus is a metabolic disorder characterized by increased blood glucose levels due to decreased insulin secretion from pancreatic beta cells or insulin resistance. Hyperglycemia in people with Diabetes Mellitus can cause complications such as heart attack, death, peripheral vascular disease. Examinations are needed that can control long-term blood sugar levels including checking blood sugar levels and HbA1c levels. Objective to determine the relationship between blood sugar levels and HbA1c levels in Type II Diabetes Mellitus patients at RSI Siti Rahmah Padang. This type of research is a cross sectional study. The affordable population in this study were Type II Diabetes Mellitus patients at RSI Siti Rahmah Padang in 2021. There were 67 samples using a simple random sampling technique. Univariate data analysis was presented in the form of a frequency distribution and bivariate analysis using the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test, data processing using computerization. The most gender was female, namely 37 people (55.2%), the most age was aged 56-65 years, namely 28 people (41.8%), the highest education level was high school, namely 33 people (49.3%), The most blood sugar levels were in the high category, namely 55 people (82.1%), the highest HbA1c levels were in the high category, namely 62 people (92.5%) and there was a relationship between blood sugar levels and HbA1c levels in Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus patients at RSI Siti Rahmah Padang (p=0.001). The most gender is female, the most age is 56-65 years, the most education level is high school, the most blood sugar levels are in the high category, the most HbA1c levels are in the high category, and there is a relationship between blood sugar levels and HbA1c levels in Diabetes Mellitus patients Type II at RSI Siti Rahmah Padang.
