Abstract

Warga Perumahan Permata Bandara Pakis kab.

Abstract

Provision of quality and sufficient electrical energy is something that must be done by PT. PLN (Persero). Based on data from PT. PLN (Persero), carried out work on replacing conductors on the Paiton – Kraksaan – Probolinggo transmission line from the TACSR 330 mm2 conductor with KHA 1190 A to 2xACCC/TW Copenhagen with KHA 2016 A. Reconductoring work is one of the efforts to uprating the transmission line by considering increasing load requirements. This reconductoring is carried out using the open circuit method or a total blackout in a circuit where the conductor is being replaced by taking into account the stages determined by PT. PLN (Persero). So that the power flow in the system must be considered when these conditions take place for the sake of service reliability or system reliability using a power flow simulator application, namely ETAP software. The simulation voltage tolerance with actual conditions is 5%. Next, analyze the power flow on the affected transmission line which is directly connected to the Kraksaan – Paiton – Probolinggo 150 kV transmission line based on voltage drop, transmission line losses and loading from each stage. As well as calculating the power transfer capability after and before reconductoring. The results of the simulation show that the most significant anomaly (deviation that should not be) is that there is a critical point loading of up to 89.220% on the Probolinggo - Gondangwetan channel when reconductoring has been carried out except for the Paiton - Kraksaan1 transmission line. Meanwhile, the value of power transfer capability increased after reconductoring, where the Paiton-Kraksaan1 and Paiton-Kraksaan2 channels increased by 63.91 MW, the Kraksaan - Probolinggo1 channel increased by 67.95 MW, and the Kraksaan - Probolinggo2 channel increased by 63.461 MW from previously

Abstract

Transformer 1’s load in Blimbing Substation has increased significantly each year. In 2016 until 2018 the load on Transformer 1 was 33.81%, 43.53%, and 71.75%. The amount of this transformer’s load will affect the hot spot temparature. Hot spot temperature is also affected by environmental temperature. In this study, load curve method was used then followed by calculate the loss life of transformer. From the calculation, known that the higher of hot spot temperature, the higher impact to loss life of transformer too. In 2018, the highest loading data was on November and it was obtained loss life of transformers by 0.649% per month, so it is estimated that this Transformer 1 at Blimbing Substation has a lifespan of 30 years 9 months. According to IEC 60076-7 normal life of transformers with loading under nominal is 20.55 years or 180000 hours. To minimize loss life of transformer or in other words extend the life time of transformer can be done by scheduling maintenance. Scheduling maintenance is the activity which monitoring the main transmission material on scheduled and provided a treatment based on the monitoring results. It can be concluded that the lifespan of Transformer 1 at Blimbing Substation can exceed the specified standard. The one of factors that affect this, is scheduling maintenance.

Abstract

The use of equipment with a high non-linear load causes a decrease in the quality of power (Power Quality) at Malang City Point Apartment. Power quality analysis is an important requirement in the electrical system and needs special attention to save energyand costs. Savings can be achieved by reducing or even eliminating losses resulting from the use of non-linear loads. This thesis aims topresent the results of an analysis of power quality conditions at Malang City Point Apartments. This analysis includes voltage, current, voltage and current imbalance, power factor, current THD and measured voltage. The system is designed using Web - Based PowerQuality Meter (PM 5110) as a measurement tool, then the results are analyzed and compared with existing standards to evaluate powerquality in Malang City Point Apartments. Among the various power quality problems measured, it was found that the main problems ofpower quality in Malang City Point Apartments were the occurrence of overvoltages and current harmonic distortion. So it is necessary todo repairs on this to overcome the overvoltage by reducing the operation of equipment that has a large load and repairing neutralconductors. Furthermore, to reduce the system harmonics, it is designed by designing a single tuned passive filter and simulated using theETAP software version 16.0.0

Abstract

High Voltage Air Line (in Indonesian known as SUTT) is defined as part of an electric power transmission network that is likely to be struck by lightning. This condition may lead to back flashover (BFO) phenomenon if the grounding value in the transmission is found to be high (>5 Ohms) and may also generate equipment failure. This research was intended to analyze the grounding improvement in tower T17, so that traveling-wave voltages may not result in failure of the main equipment at the substation, specifically the transformer. The value of the traveling wave at the substation was measured through simulation by means of the ATP Draw application in tower T17 to the substation. The grounding value may be reduced by increasing and widening the distance between the electrodes. The value obtained by modeling 4 electrodes with a distance of 0.5 meter was amounted to 1.73 Ohms. Furthermore, modeling 3 electrodes with a distance of 1 meter had successfully generated a value of 1.06 Ohm, and a value of 1.67 Ohm was also successfully obtained through modeling 2 electrodes with a distance of 2 meters. The ground resistance with a value of 67.05 Ohms that has not been repaired will lead to back flashover (BFO) caused by lightning strikes. However, this may be reduced properly with a lightning arrester which is capable of cutting the overvoltage at the substation, so that the voltage entering the transformer is below the BIL (Basic Insulation Level) value.

Abstract

The current transformer is an electric power instrumentation device that functions to change a higher current value to a lower value for protection and measurement purposes. Field conditions and service life cause the current transformer to decrease and not function. Therefore, it is important to do this research to determine the current condition of the current transformer. The method used to obtain current transformer quality indicators is the insulation resistance test method and the tangent delta test method. The results of testing the insulation resistance of current transformers at GI Tanjung Awar Awar Babat in 2020-2021 using the VDE standard (Catalogue 228/4) and IEEE std 43-2000 show that the insulation resistance value of all current transformers has increased by an average of 81900Ω from the previous period but, this value is still in good criteria, namely 170 + 1 MΩ and there is an increase in the current transformer grounding resistance test from the previous period with an average of 0.176 however, according to the PLN book 605.K/DIR/2010 the results of the ground resistance test have good criteria. of < 1. Based on ANSI C 57.12.90 and IEEE C57.152-2013 standards, the tan delta test results are still in good condition because the tan delta value is not more than 0.5%. Current transformer tan delta testing in 2020-2021 has decreased, indicating that the insulation performance of current transformers in 2021 is better than in 2020.
