Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini mengkaji tentang hubungan self efficacy dengan prokrastinasi akademik dalam menyelesaikan tugas kuliah pada mahasiswa Fakultas Psikologi Universitas Muhammadiyah Gresik. Metode penelitian kuantitatif denganteknik probability sampling, pengambilan sampel menggunakan rumus slovin dan jumlah sampel 125 mahasiswa. Teknik analisis data korelasi sperman rho dengan taraf signifikasi 5%. Hasil korelasi diperoleh nilai r hitung = -0,260 lebih kecil dari r tabel = 0,1757 maka Ho diterima Ha ditolak. Hasil koefisien (r²) dari r = -0,260 = 0,7 menunjukkan sumbangan variabel self efficacy dengan prokrastinasi akademik sebesar 7% sedangkan sisanya 93% variabel lain yang tidak diteliti. Hasil analisis data di tarik kesimpulan tidak terdapat hubungan antara variabel self efficacy dengan variabel prokrastinasi akademik. Kata Kunci : Self Efficacy, Prokrastinasi Akademik Abstract This study examines the relationship of self efficacy with academic procrastination in completing coursework for students of the Faculty of Psychology, University of Muhammadiyah Gresik. Quantitative research methods with probability sampling techniques, sampling using the Slovin formula and the number of samples of 125 students. The technique of sperman rho correlation data analysis with a significance level of 5%. Correlation results obtained r count = -0.260 smaller than r table = 0.1757 then Ho accepted Ha rejected. The coefficient results (r²) from r = -0,260 = 0.7 shows that the contribution of self efficacy variables to academic procrastination is 7% while the remaining 93% are not examined. The results of the data analysis concluded that there was no correlation between the variables of self efficacy and the variables of academic procrastination.
