Abstract

Energi surya memiliki kemampuan untuk menghasilkan listrik dengan biaya bahan bakar yang dapat diabaikan, tidak menyebabkan polusi dan tidak ada risiko adanya lonjakan harga bahan bakar. Penggunaan energi surya sebagai sumber energi listrik salah satunya adalah untuk penerangan jalan umum. Pemanfaatan panel surya sebagai smart street lighting di desa banjarejo dusun Ngamprong RT.02 RW.04 Kecamatan Pakis Kabupaten Malang didasari kondisi bahwa pemasangan lampu penerangan jalan masih bersifat individu masyarakat yang bersedia memberikan sambungan listrik untuk penerangan jalan. Selain itu sering kali dalam menyalakan dan memadamkan lampu penerangan jalan mengalami keterlambatan. Dari hasil analisis maka didapatkan penghematan energi listrik sebesar 21.6 kWh untuk model 1 dan 14.04 kWh untuk model 2 di setiap 30 harinya. Model 2 dalah model yang paling hemat, sehingga setting yang digunakan dalah setting model 2.

Abstract

Dalam pengoperasiannya PLTU Holtekamp harus mampu mensuplai beban dengan memaksimalkan kinerja unitnya secara efisien. Dalam kinerjanya PLTU Holtekamp harus memperhatikan antara daya yang harus dibangkitkan dengan optimasi pembangkitnya. Salah satu metode yang dapat digunakan adalah metode Lagrange. Metode Lagrange digunakan untuk menghitung optimasi biaya dari sebuah pembangkit. Selain pengoptimalan pembangkit diperlukan juga manajemen operasi yang baik. Pada hari Rabu, 6 September 2017 setelah dilakukan optimasi didapatkan persentase selisih 2%. Presentase selisih menjadi 5% setelah diterapkan manajemen operasinya.

Abstract

In planning external protection systems, the methods that are widely used are conventional and electrostatic lightning rod methods, therefore to study further, the results of observations that have been made to the industry there is still no lightning rod system so the author will try to plan and compare the plans of the two types of rods. lightning rods are Conventional ( Franklin ) and Electrostatic ( EF Lightning Protection System ) lightning rods in terms of protection, technical, economical, advantages and disadvantages. The research and observation methods were carried out in the furniture industry area of PT. Marufuji Kenzai Indonesia, with data collection techniques through direct observation, interviews, and literature studies, so that the building plan data (height, width and length of the building) are obtained and the 2020 thunder day data (IKL 238) then the data obtained is used to calculate the parameters in planning the installation of lightning rods according to the standards of SNI 03-7015-2004 and PUIPP. So that the results obtained for planning the conventional method ( Franklin ) with the placement of air terminations using the rolling ball method obtained 22 finials installed with buildings that can withstand currents of up to 160.1 kA and for the electrostatic method ( EF Lightning Protection System ) with 1 finial the building can withstand currents up to 25,891 kA, and if it exceeds this value a lightning rod will be caught.

Abstract

Permasalahan lampu PJU konvensional secara umum yang dihadapi oleh masyarakat pedesaan, yaitu beban yang harusditanggung oleh masyarakat untuk membayar rekening, selain itu sering terjadi kelalaian untuk menyalakan dan mematikannya. Artikel ini membahas mengenai pemasngan smart PJU yang memanfaatkan pansel surya sebagai sumber utamanya. Secara teknis, penggunaan LDR dan PIR sangat membantu masyarakat untuk menyalakan dan mematikan lampu PJU, dan hasil pengukuran lampu smart PJU panel surya yang menggunakan lampu jenis LED 6 watt dipasang pada ketinggian 4meter dari permukaan jalan didapatkan nilai rata-rata kuat cahaya E sebesr 11.86 lux. Disisi ekonomisnya, masyarakat dapat menghemat energi selama 1 bulan (30 hari) sebesar 21.6kWh dengan total nilai rupiah sebesar Rp. 31,205.52.

Abstract

A large load imbalance is caused by the use of single-phase loads in a three-phase system, and poor harmonics are caused by non-sinusoidal loads, which result in losses in the network and poor quality of power distribution. This study aims to monitor and analyze load balance and harmonics in the Graha Polinema Building at Politeknik Negeri Malang. The research is a survey and case study using primary data obtained through direct measurement using a Web-Based Power Quality Meter (PM 5110) to gather data from each SDP panel, and secondary data through observation. From this study, the highest current imbalance value of 133.50% was found in the North 4th Floor SDP Panel of the Grapol Building, exceeding the IEEE 1159-2009 standard, which sets the limit for load imbalance at 30%. Current Harmonic Distortion (IHD) occurred in 8 SDP panels, except for the North and South Water Pump Panels. Total Demand Distortion (TDD) for all panels was within the standard limits. Total Harmonic Distortion (THDv) for all panels was also within the standard limits, with the highest value of 2.37% found in the North 4th Floor Panel.

Abstract

Energy audits are evaluation activities carried out to determine the condition of the energy used in a system. Audits are carried out to provide the efficiency of an electrical system. The first energy audit conducted was the initial energy audit. By using the specifications of the installed electrical system and using monitoring data. Followed by a detailed energy audit, to determine the condition of a more specific electrical system. The data used is measurement/monitoring data, and data calculations are then compared with the provision of the electricity standard. In calculating the intensity of energy consumption in the initial energy audit process, the IKE Fave Hotel results were still by the standards with an IKE value of 213.59 kWh/m2. Meanwhile, based on the results of a detailed energy audit, it was found that the lighting system and cooling system were not up to standard because the lux results for several rooms showed results that were less than the lux standard. Thus, it is necessary to provide recommendations for improvements to the lighting and cooling system. Providing lighting recommendations can use dialux as a calculation comparison. In the lighting system, it is necessary to replace some of the lamp specifications installed because they are far from standard values. This also needs to be done on the cooling system, by replacing the installed air conditioner according to existing calculations. This replacement was carried out to save energy for the continuity of the hospitality industry process at Fave Hotel Malang.

Abstract

Fave Hotel is supplied by 2 PLN transformers, with capacities of 250 kVA and 100 kVA. The supply of electrical energy at Fave Hotel is very important because the possibility of disruption is very large in the process of distributing electrical energy. Load variations at Fave Hotel will also affect the electrical system. One of the disturbances that occur in the electric power system is power quality. The research method used is data observation, monitoring, analysis, and simulation using ETAP software. Based on the results of the analysis of various power quality parameters that were measured, the power quality conditions of the fave hotel were not good. A power quality problem has been identified at Fave Hotel, specifically a voltage imbalance occurs at MDP 2 on weekend is 2.64%. In addition, there is also a current imbalance occurs at MDP 1 and 2 during both weekends and weekdays, with the largest current imbalance occurs at MDP 2 on weekdays is 64.15%. To overcome the problem of voltage imbalance and current imbalance, it is recommended to perform load balancing on the system or install compensating equipment such as a voltage compensator.

Abstract

Kampung Mbesuk Ambyar, yang berlokasi di Kelurahan Tunjungsekar, Malang, memiliki potensi sebagai desa wisata dengan beragam inisiatif masyarakat dalam pengembangan Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM). Salah satu UMKM kuliner yang menonjol adalah Pemean Cafe, dijalankan oleh warga RT 01 RW 01 dengan semangat gotong royong. Politeknik Negeri Malang berkolaborasi dengan cafe ini dalam upaya memajukan usahanya melalui pemasangan running text berbasis WiFi.Tujuan utama dari pemasangan running text ini adalah untuk meningkatkan daya tarik Pemean Cafe, menarik minat konsumen yang melewati Jalan Tunjungsekar, serta meningkatkan nilai estetika cafe. Metode pelaksanaan proyek pengabdian kepada masyarakat melibatkan koordinasi dengan mitra, perancangan dan implementasi running text berbasis WiFi, serta pelatihan penggunaan dan perawatan peralatan kepada tim pengabdian dan mitra.Proses perancangan running text melibatkan uji fungsionalitas, keandalan, dan antarmuka pengguna. Rangkaian LED Dot Matrix P10 digunakan dalam tiga display yang menampilkan informasi berjalan secara horizontal, menyajikan konten mengenai menu, promo, dan pesan khusus.Melalui aplikasi LedArt, mitra dapat mengatur dan memperbarui konten running text dengan mudah. Dampaknya adalah meningkatnya pengetahuan dan kemampuan mitra dalam menggunakan teknologi ini. Diharapkan, pemasangan running text berbasis WiFi dapat berkontribusi dalam peningkatan pendapatan dan kesejahteraan warga Kampung Mbesuk Ambyar RW 01.
