Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh pentingnya kedisiplinan belajar siswa. Faktor kedisiplinan belajar siswa antara lain: Faktor internal adalah faktor yang ada dalam dirinya sendiri antara lain meliputi kesadaran diri, motivasi belajar, dan tidak mampu menyesuaikan diri dalam belajar. Sedangkan faktor eksternal adalah faktor dari luar yang meliputi faktor keluarga, lingkungan sekolah, teman sebaya dan masyarakat. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan studi kasus yang dilakukan dengan cara mendeskripsikan atau memaparkan fakta-fakta atau data-data yang diperoleh dari sumber data. Data-data tersebut bersifat kualitatif karena tidak berupa angka, tetapi berupa kalimat-kalimat atau pernyataan-pernyataan yang berasal dari hasil metode observasi dan wawancara. Data-data tersebut selanjutnya dianalisis atau diuraikan untuk menemukan faktor kedisiplinan belajar siswa siswa. Berdasarkan data yang diperoleh dari subjek penelitian, menunjukan bahwa faktor kedisiplinan belajar siswa ada dua yaitu faktor intrinsik dan faktor ekstrinsik. Faktor intrinsik yaitu faktor yang berasal dari dirinya sendiri yaitu siswa yang malas, malas untuk belajar, tidak pernah mengerjakan PR atau tugas, malas untuk mencatat dan membaca buku pelajaran,kurangnya kesadaran untuk belajar, belum terbiasa dengan disiplin belajar. Kedua adalah faktor ekstrinsik merupakan faktor yang berasal dari luar individu berupa lingkungan keluarga, orangtua yang tidak pernah memberikan perhatian dan kasih sayang terhadap anak mengakibatkan anak menjadi tidak disiplin belajar, selain itu pendidikan orang tua juga mempengaruhi kedisiplinan belajar siswa, faktor lain adalah dari guru, guru yang galak dan cara mengajar yang membosankan menyebabkan siswa malas belajar, dan faktor terakhir yang mengakibatkan siswa tidak disiplin belajar karena faktor lingkungan seperti teman bergaul di rumah dan lingkungan sekolah.?Kata-kata kunci : Kedisiplinan Belajar, Siswa, Studi Kasus?AbstractThis research is motivated by the importance of student learning discipline. Factors of student learning discipline include: Internal factors are factors that exist in themselves include self-awareness, motivation to learn, and not being able to adjust to learning. While external factors are external factors which include family, school environment, peers and the community. This research uses a case study approach which is done by describing or describing facts or data obtained from data sources. The data is qualitative because it is not in the form of numbers, but in the form of sentences or statements derived from the results of observation and interview methods. These data are then analyzed or elaborated to find the factors of student learning discipline. Based on data obtained from research subjects, it shows that there are two factors for student learning discipline namely intrinsic factor and extrinsic factor. Intrinsic factor is a factor that originates from itself, namely students who are lazy, lazy to learn, never do homework or assignments, lazy to take notes and read textbooks, lack of awareness to learn, not accustomed to the discipline of learning. Second is the extrinsic factor is a factor that comes from outside the individual in the form of a family environment, parents who never give attention and affection towards children cause children to become undisciplined in learning, in addition to that parental education also affects student learning discipline, other factors are from the teacher, teachers who are fierce and boring teaching methods make students lazy to learn, and the last factor that causes students to be undisciplined in learning because of environmental factors such as friends hanging out at home and school environment.?Keywords: Learning Discipline, Students, Case Studies

Abstract

Adanya kesetaraan peran antara laki-laki dan perempuan membuat perempuan merasa nyaman ketika bekerja di luar rumah, sehingga pada akhirnya mampu mencapai keseimbangan kerja-keluarga. Akan tetapi ketika terjadi pembagian kerja antara suami dan istri di wilayah domestik, timbul perasaan tidak nyaman pada istri ketika melihat suami melakukan tugas tersebut, Dengan demikian akhirnya istri mengambil alih tugas tersebut, dan seringkali perempuan posisi dirinya lebih rendah daripada laki-laki. Berdasarkan situasi tersebut, permasalahan yang muncul adalah apakah ibu mengalami dan merasakan kesetaraan peran antara laki-laki dan perempuan sehingga tercapai keseimbangan kerja-keluarga? Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuat modul dan melakukan uji validasi isi modul “Kesetaraan Peran Laki-laki dan Perempuan” sehingga ibu bekerja dapat memahami dan menerapkan kesetaraan peran laki-laki dan perempuan dan mencapai keseimbangan kerja-keluarga. Validasi isi dilakukan oleh 4 orang expert judgment di bidangnya, yaitu psikologi keluarga, psikologi industri, litbang himpaudi dan ahli media. Metode pelatihan dengan experiental learning. Analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil analisis kuantitatif dari para expert judgement menunjukkan skor total rentangan 64-67 dalam kategori baik. Sedangkan hasil kuantitatif dari expert judgement di bidang media menunjukkan skor 55, juga dalam kategori baik. Hasil analisis kualitatif menunjukkan bahwa modul layak digunakan dengan beberapa perbaikan minor. Secara umum modul kesetaraan peran laki-laki dan perempuan dapat digunakan untuk tahap selanjutnya.[Gender role equality between men and women has made women no longer need to feel guilty to work out of home. This absence of guilty feeling makes women are able to achieve work-family balance. However, in reality, when there is task sharing, particularly about domestic chores between a husband and a wife, there is inconvenient feeling felt by the wife when she sees her husband does the chores. As a result, she will take over the task. It is common that women feel their position is lower than men. Regarding this issue, a question arises. Do mothers experience and feel the equal role between men and women in order to achieve work-family balance? This research aimed to create a module and conducting validity test for the content of the module, “Role Equality of Men and Women”. This module is expected to be able to give full comprehension for working mothers so that they can fully understand and perform equal role between men and women which help them to achieve work- family balance. Content validity was conducted by 4 expert judgment  in the field, namely family psychology, industrial psychology, Himpaudi’s research and development and media expert. The training method was experimental learning. The data were analyzed using descriptive qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis. The result of quantitative analysis from the expert judgment shows total score ranging from 64-67 in good category. Meanwhile, quantitative result from expert judgment in media field shows score 55, also in good category. The result of qualitative analysis shows that the module is viable with some minor revision and improvement. In general, this role equality module can be used for the further step.]

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi kurangnya interaksi sosial yang dimiliki siswa. Kurangnya interaksi sosial akan menghambat siswa dalam mencapai tugas-tugas perkembangannya terutama dibidang pribadi. Permasalahan yang diungkap dalam penelitian ini adalah Apakah Layanan Penguasaan Konten Menggunakan Media Puzzle Efektif Untuk Meningkatkan Interaksi Sosial Siswa? Tujuan yang hendak dicapai dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui Efektifitas Layanan Penguasaan Konten Menggunakan Media Puzzle Untuk Meningkatkan Interaksi Sosial Siswa Kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Semarang Tahun Pelajaran 2014/2015. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 01 Semarang Tahun Pelajaran 2014/2015 dengan jumlah 441 siswa. Sampel yang diambil 30 siswa dengan menggunakan teknik Cluster Random Sampling. Data dalam penelitian ini diperoleh melalui skala interaksi sosial. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah one group pre-test post-test design.Berdasrkan ujia validitas diperoleh 30 soal valid, sedangkan pada uji reliabilitas diperoleh hasil r11> rtabel ,0,917 > 0,361 dengan demikian instrumen skala interaksi sosial reliabel.Berdasarkan hasil analisis deskriptif yang dilakukan dari data awal skor rata-rata sebesar 74,67, sedangkan hasil dari data akhir diketahui skor rata-rata sebesar 90,8. Rata-rata nilai hasil interaksi sosial siswa menunjukkan adanya selisih skor sebesar 15,8 yang berarti interaksi sosial siswa meningkat. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan analisis rumus uji t diperoleh thitung sebesar 4,563 sementara ttabel dengan db N-1 = 30-1 = 29, dengan taraf signifikansi 0,05 sebesar 2,045. Karena t-hitung >t-tabel, atau 4,563 >2,045, sehingga hipotesis kerja (Ha) yang berbunyi layanan penguasaan konten dengan menggunakan media puzzle efektif untukmeningkatkan interaksi sosial siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Semarang tahun pelajaran 2014/2015diterima pada taraf signifikansi 0,05. Dari hasil penelitian disarankan siswa memanfaatkan layanan bimbingan dan konseling. Bagi Guru bimbingan dan konseling agar dapat memprogramkan dan melaksanakan pelayanan bimbingan dan konseling sesuai dengan kebutuhan siswa. Bagi Kepala sekolah supaya dapat merumuskan kebijakan dalam memberikan dua jam pelajaran efektif masuk kelas untuk layanan bimbingan dan konseling agar dapat mencapai pelayanan terhadap peserta didik secara optimal. Abstract

Adolescents' problems concerning mental health could a burden for individual, families, and environments. To prevent further worsening mental problems, mental health literacy is needed. Mental health literacy has been promoted in advanced countries. However, it is implemented optimally in developing countries. This research aimed to find out the mental health literacy strategies done by adolescents. This article is a systematic literature review study. To obtain the articles for analysis purposes, search engine assistance was used such as Cochrane Library, Medpub, and ERIC. From 82 collected articles, and inclusion and exclusion stages were carried out to select the articles for the literature study purpose. They were then extracted from individually to get the significant findings. From the results of 11 reviewed articles, a conclusion was found. There were different mental health literacy implementation strategies in each country. Various mental health strategy types for adolescents covered national, community, school-based, and self-empowerment scope strategies.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of groups counseling cognitive behavior therapy approach with stress inoculation training techniques on tests stress experienced by students. This type of research is quantitative research with a true experimental design, research method with a pretest posttest control design. The sample in the study was 18 students of class VIII SMP N 4 Semarang who were taken using purposive sampling technique. The data collection tool used is stress scale. Based on the results of the calculation of the hypothesis test results obtained t count = 3.78. Then consulted with t table with a significance level of 5% which is 2.120 it shows that t count = 3.78 > t table = 2.120.

Abstract

School is a protective factor to improve and promote mental health. Many mental health problems are experienced by school learners. From various interactions with the learners, teachers are expected capable to prevent and identify school learners’ mental health problems. Although the human-teacher sources are high but they are not completely used to support learners’ mental health problems. This research aims to find out the mental health literacy operational definition and the urgency of mental health literacy of the teachers. This research applied a systematic literature review from five search engines. They were Spingerlink, Science Direct, Jstor, Eric, and Pubmed. The applied keywords were “mental health literacy”, “school”, and “teacher”. The taken references are from 1997 - 2020.  Six hundred and thirty three articles were obtained from five search engines.  From the systematic review, seven articles were obtained.  An expanding concept of mental health definition was found from the initial concept proposed by Jorm. Clear concept definition influenced the measurement. Teachers must be aware of mental health literacy because they are the first lines to identify mental health problems of the learners, mostly found on 12 - 25 years-old learners. Low teacher literacy at school about mental health problems experienced by learners led to serious impacts for them.

Abstract

The prevalence of sexual abuse increases annually. The injuries have various impacts, both physical and psychological, for children. There is a need for effort to prevent and to prepare children to avoid sexual abuse. One of them is related to assertive comics with reproduction organs. This research uses the research and development approach done in two years. The first year was done in Central Semarang with subjects involving 28 teachers of preschool to fill the questionnaires, 30 teachers were asked to be in FGD process, and interview for 200 students to find out their initial understanding about sexual abuse, and testing the prototype in a limited trial run using 20 students of kindergarten. The technique of collecting data uses purposive sampling. Based on the findings from 200 students, 39 students have a great understanding of sexual abuse, 130 students with common knowledge, and 31 with deep understanding. Kindergarten students have the best experience in aspects of a safe location to play but have lower perceptions about parts of not to touch the body. Based on FGD results and questionnaires toward the teachers, it is gained result that teachers try to prevent sexual abuse, but from the side of media is still low and less variety. Based on the data, a prototype of assertive serial comics about reproduction organs are arranged as prevention toward early childhood sexual abuse. The suggestion, students with a lower understanding of sexual abuse, need active teachers' involvement in early childhood sexual abuse prevention programs using various media.

Abstract

Mindful parenting is marked by listening with full attention, speaking with full empathy, not being judgmental of the child, having emotional intelligence, being prudent and not behaving in an excessive fashion, and having welas asih (Javanese term for “compassion”). A style of mindful parenting assists in the formation of the early foundations of the life of a child, and gives rise to an optimal generation. The desired goal in this research was to determine a profile of mindful parenting, based upon the stages of family development. The data collection method used was exploratory interview, using a research and developmental approach. The participants in the research numbered 19 persons, consisting of 16 mothers and three fathers. The research results indicated that families in the stages from early child-raising (the eldest child being a newborn to 30 months of age), to that of the family with adolescent children (the eldest child being aged between 13 and 20 years) have applied mindful parenting. Application of mindful parenting to families at a number of stages has made a contribution to the psychological conditions of both parents and children. The positive contribution appears to be the attention and empathy of the parents to the children, so that the parents better comprehend the condition of the children. This emotional awareness, on the part of the parents, and also the children, also causes the emergence of attachment which becomes the foundation of social and emotional competence, when the child grows to maturity. This research also discovered that the extended family has an important role in supporting mindful parenting. Pola asuh berkesadaran ditandai dengan mendengarkan dengan penuh perhatian, berbicara dengan penuh empati, tidak menghakimi anak, memiliki kecerdasan emosional, bijaksana dan tidak berlebihan, serta memiliki welas asih (istilah Bahasa Jawa untuk “kasih sayang” atau “rasa iba”). Pola asuh berkesadaran membantu terbentuknya fondasi awal kehidupan anak dan memunculkan generasi yang optimal. Tujuan yang ingin dicapai dalam penelitian ini untuk mengetahui profil pola asuh berkesadaran berdasarkan tahap perkembangan keluarga. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara eksploratori dengan pendekatan riset dan pengembangan. Partisipan penelitian berjumlah 19 orang yang terdiri dari 16 orang ibu serta tiga orang ayah. Hasil wawancara menunjukkan keluarga yang sedang berada pada tahap mengasuh anak (anak tertua adalah bayi sampai umur 30 bulan) hingga keluarga dengan anak remaja (anak tertua berumur 13 hingga 20 tahun) telah menerapkan pola asuh berkesadaran. Penerapan pola asuh berkesadaran pada keluarga di berbagai tahapan perkembangan memberikan kontribusi positif bagi kondisi psikologis orang tua dan anak. Kontribusi positif tersebut tampak dari adanya perhatian dan empati dari orangtua terhadap anak sehingga orangtua lebih memahami kondisi anaknya. Kesadaran emosional ini dari pihak orangtua dan anak juga mendorong munculnya kelekatan yang menjadi fondasi kompetensi sosial dan emosional saat anak bertumbuh dewasa. Penelitian ini juga menemukan bahwa extended family memiliki peran penting dalam mendukung pengasuhan berkesadaran. Received 21 April 2017; Accepted 7 September 2018; Published 25 October 2019.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh layanan konseling kelompok rational emotive behavior therapy terhadap harga diri siswa korban self-injury. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian desain eksperimen semu (pre eksperimental design). Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah 271 siswa kelas VII, sampel yang  digunakan adalah purposive sampling, dan sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 6 siswa dengan kategori siswa korban self-injury dengan harga diri yang rendah. Data dalam penelitian ini diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, penyebaran angket kebutuhan peserta didik, dan angket harga diri siswa korban self-injury,serta menggunakan skala psikologis harga diri siswa korban self-injury. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah one-group pretest-posttest design. Hasil analisis uji-t harga diri siswa korban self-injury menunjukan mencapai thitung= 6,475> ttabel= 2,200, maka HO ditolak dan Ha diterima dengan db=n+n-1, dan α=5%, artinya ada pengaruh layanan konseling kelompok rational emotive behavior therapy terhadap harga diri siswa korban self-injury kelas VII SMP Negeri 32 Semarang. Kata kunci: Layanan konseling kelompok rational emotive behavior therapy, Harga diri, Self-Injury.

Abstract

Abstract: Sexual violence in early childhood is prevalent and shows an increasing prevalence. The impact caused by the occurrence of sexual violence experienced will affect the mental health of the victim. Therefore, early childhood needs to be saved from incidents of sexual violence because children are the future owners of the nation. Thus, the importance of equipping children with knowledge, attitudes and skills about themselves and their bodies to prevent sexual violence. The researchers in this study aim to produce Reproductive Organ Assertive Comics for early childhood and test the validity of assertive comics with the theme "Body Parts" as an effort to prevent sexual violence in young children. This research uses the design of Research and Development (R&D). There are ten stages carried out in this study. In this paper the researcher discusses only the content validity test of three expert judgments. Based on the results of the assessment of expert judgment, it was found that the comic assertive of reproductive organs (the prevention of sexual violence) with the theme "Parts of the Body" was appropriate to be used as an effort to prevent sexual violence for young children.
