Abstract

THE UTILIZATION OF MACROMEDIA FLASH INTERATIVE’S CD ON NERVE SYSTEM TO INCREASE STUDENT’S LEARNING OUTCOMES IN SMAN 1 GRINGSING BATANG   ABSTRACT Based on the results of preliminary observations in SMAN 1 Gringsing Batang, it indicate that  the learning outcomes did not maximized. It showed in average value of daily tests was 5.20. The teaching strategies used the system of learning lectures, and did not optimized using computers in schools media. It affected the improvement of learning outcome especially nerve material. The aims to this research was to determine students learning outcomes in SMAN 1 Gringsing Batang, class XI 2nd semester, using macromedia flash interactive’s CD in Nerve System. This research used true experiment, the subjects were students of SMAN 1 Gringsing Batang, class XI 2nd semester. It used two classes, one class as kontrol and one class as experiment. The collection techniques performed through observation and tests using instrument and sheet to measure student learning outcomes. The result indicates that the outcomes in experiment’s class much better than kontrol’s class. It  showed in the experimental class has average result 0,75 (high rate) and kontrol class has 0,48 (low rate). N-Gain’s presentation in experiment class was 71,4% and kontrol class was 33,3%. The research’s conclusion, prove that using macromedia flash interactive‘s CD in class experimental group increase the learning outcomes. Keywords: CD Interactive macromedia flash, nerve system, learning outcome   ABSTRAK Berdasarkan hasil observasi awal di SMAN 1 Gringsing Batang, memiliki indikasi hasil belajar yang belum maksimal. Hal ini terbukti dari rata-rata nilai ulangan harian adalah 5,20. Selama ini strategi pengajaran masih menerapkan sistem belajar ceramah, dan belum dioptimalkan pemanfaatan media komputer di sekolah tersebut. Hal ini berdampak pada rendahnya peningkatan hasi belajar terutama materi sistem saraf. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hasil belajar siswa kelas XI semester II SMAN 1 Gringsing Batang dengan menggunakan CD Interaktif Makromedia flash pada materi Sistem Saraf. Metodologi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah true eksperimen dengan pretest-postest kontrol group design. Adapun subyek penelitian ini adalah siswa SMA 1 Batang kelas XI semester II, sebanyak dua kelas, yaitu kelas XI IPA 1 sebagai kelas kontrol dan kelas X1 IPA 2 kelas eksperimen. Teknik pengambilan data dilakukan melalui observasi dan tes dengan instrumen lembar observasi dan soal untuk mengukur hasil belajar siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan hasil belajar siswa pada kelas eksperimen dibandingkan kelas kontrol. Fakta tersebut dibuktikan dengan hasil penghitungan nilai rata-rata N-Gain kelas eksperimen 0,75 (kategori tinggi), sedangkan kelas kontrol nilai rata-rata N-Gain 0,48 (kategori rendah). Presentasi nilai N-Gain paling tinggi pada kelas eksperimen berada pada kategori tinggi yaitu 71,4%, sedangkan pada kelas kontrol nilai N- Gain paling tinggi berada pada kategori rendah yaitu 33,3%. Kesimpulan dari hasil penelitian membuktikan bahwa pembelajaran dengan menggunakan CD Interaktif Macromedia Flash pada kelas kelas eksperimen terlihat adanya peningkatan hasil belajar yang lebih tinggi daripada kelas kontrol dengan pembelajaran tanpa menggunakan CD Interaktif Macromedia Flash. Abstract

CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT USING LABORATORY INQUIRY APPROACH IDENTIFY OF ALGAE MATERIAL  ABSTRACT Student of class A II has the academic potential of above average compared to other classes. But on the other hand, the ability of the students during the practical is very slow, and the ability of students in the identification of preparations is lacking. Through monitoring and observation, the researchers also see the curiosity and hard work of each individual student is less. Learning through Inquiry approach is expected value of the individual characters e.g. discipline, curiosity, honesty, hard work and tolerance develop. The objective of the study is to determine of increasing character of the individual and the level of understanding of algae material. This study uses classroom action research in two cycles. Data collection techniques using character observation with rating scale sheets. The results showed an increase in the character of the individual student. The score of mastery learning in classical reached 94.7 %. So, the indicator has achieved ≥ 75% on research success. Based on the results of this study concluded that there is an increased individual character and the students of biology education’ material understanding in Plant Taxonomy 1 learning through inquiry approach Key words: students’ individual character, inquiry approach, classroom action research  ABSTRAK Mahasiswa kelas II A IKIP PGRI Semarang memiliki potensi akademik di atas rata-rata dibandingkan dengan kelas yang lain. Namun di sisi lain, kemampuan mahasiswa selama praktikum sangat lambat, dan kemampuan mahasiswa dalam identifikasi preparat sangatlah kurang. Melalui pengamatan dan observasi, kami juga melihat rasa ingin tahu, kejujuran, kerja keras dan toleransi dapat berkembang. Tujuan dari penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui peningkatan karakter individu dan tingkat pemahaman materi algae. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas dengan 2 siklus. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi karakter dengan lembar rating scale. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan karakter individu mahasiswa. Nilai ketuntasan belajar secara klasikal mencapai 94,7%, sehingga telah mencapai ≥ 75% indikator keberhasilan penelitian secara klasikal. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada peningkatan karakter individu dan pemahaman materi mahasiswa Pendidikan Biologi dalam praktikum Taksonomi Tumbuhan 1 melalui pembelajaran dengan pendekatan inquiry. Abstract

SSI is a strategy that aims to stimulate intellectual, moral and ethical development, as well as awareness of the relationship between science and social life. The use of SSI will improve students' reasoning skills to face the challenges of the 21st century. This SSI application uses questions on social issues. This research was conducted in December 2020. This research used a descriptive survey method. The research stage was carried out with a survey related to students 'reasoning abilities in the city of Semarang, then students were given questions about SSI as a form of treatment and observed how the patterns of students' reasoning abilities were related to SSI. The results showed an increase in students' reasoning abilities due to the introduction of SSI questions.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menyediakan bahan ajar yang tepat untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep danklasifikasi tentang vertebrata khususnya Amphibia. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Pengembangan yangdiawali dengan tahapan analisis kebutuhan, selanjutnya dikembangkan story board, pengembangan maketgame edukasi, CD interaktif game offline dan buku panduan. Hasil penelitian bahan ajar berupa media GameEdukasi Amphibia telah dinyatakan memiliki validitas aspek media dengan kriteria kelayakan sangat layakdengan skor yang diperoleh 3,5. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan media Game Edukasi “Amphibia” sangat layakdan direkomendasikan untuk menunjang pembelajaran keanekaragaman hewan khususnya materi “ClassAmphibia”

Abstract

Unprocessing household waste is one of environmental problem which has to be overcome by Kalisegoro society. People only depend on garbage transport service to process household waste henceforward to final disposal site. Those habit leads to unprocessing household waste in Kalisegoro and more contaminate the environment. Household waste processing training is required to enhance the ability of Kalisegoro society, especially for housewife so that the household waste can be handled well. This program intend to enhance creativity of housewife in Kalisegoro to process plastic from household waste. Plastic waste can be processed become handycrafts and reduce rubbish buildup which leads to environmental pollution. The participant of this program is household who incorporated in Dorang Dawis Anggrek 17 business unit in Kalisegoro Gunungpati Semarang.

Abstract

The changes in college curriculum that refers to the Indonesian National Qualifications Framework has consequences on curriculum changes in the Biology Education Study Program of Universitas PGRI Semarang, so that there are adjustments in the course of Plant Anatomy which were initially 2 SKS and Plant Morphology which was initially 2 SKS into one course, Plant Development Structure, with the weight of 3 SKS, so that effective learning is needed by blended learning. Based on this background, the purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of blanded learning in Plant Development Structure courses. The learning design uses a combination of face to face methods with offline teaching materials using flipbooks, online discussions with Facebook groups and e-assessment using proprofs software. This research method is pre-experiment with the design of the One Group Pretest Posttest. The results of the pretest obtained an average value of 41.84, while the posttest results obtained an average value of 70.97 and the results of the t-test showed that there were significant differences. In the questionnaire results obtained data as many as 43% of students like blanded learning; 57% of students stated the advantage of using online discussion was to get direct experience as a teacher candidate using social media as a learning medium; 57% of students stated that offline teaching materials can balance the right and left brains; and 60% of students said by e-assessment to get the correct feedback directly. The conclusion is blanded learning that combines face to face, online discussions, offline teaching materials, and e-assessment, and effective blanded learning for Plant Development Structure lectures.

Abstract

Kualitas air di Indonesia mengalami penurunan dari tahun ketahun. Salah satu perairan yang mengalami penurunan kualitas air adalah sungai Desa Datar, Kecamatan Mayong, Kabupaten Jepara. Penurunan kualitas air disertai dengan adanya bakteri coliform dalam air menjadi salah satu penyebab munculnya berbagai penyakit yang diakibatkan air terkontaminasi bakteri coliform. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk megidentifikasi genera bakteri Coliform di sungai Datar. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Laboratorium Biologi UPGRIS pada 16 Agustus – 27 Agustus 2021. Subyek dalam penelitian ini adalah air sungai yang terindikasi tercemar coliform di Desa Datar, Kecamatan Mayong, Kabupaten Jepara. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif dengan cara pengidentifikasi bakteri coliform yang ada di Sungai Desa Datar dengan teknik Purposive Sampling digunakan dalam menentukan lokasi penelitian. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan di Sungai Desa Datar. Data diambil berdasarkan observasi atau survei langsung ke lokasi tempat yang dijadikan sampel, serta pemeriksaan terhadap sampel secara langsung di laboratorium. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat diketahui bahwa terdapat 3 genera bakteri colifrom diantaranya yaitu Escherichia coli yang memiliki karakteristik berbentuk bulat, tepian rata, elevansi cembung, berwarna hinau metalik, perwarnaan Gram negatif, berbentuk batang, sel warna preparat berwarna merah muda, uji indol positif, dan uji TSIA dasar dan lereng berwarna kuning. Kedua bakteri genera Shigella mempunyai karakteristik berbentuk bulat, tepian rata, elevansi cembung, berwarna ungu, perwarnaan Gram negatif, berbentuk batang, sel warna preparat berwarna merah muda, uji indol negatif, dan uji TSIA dasar berwarna kuning, lereng berwarna merah. Bakteri genera Klebsiella dengan karakteristik karakteristik berbentuk bulat, tepian rata, elevansi cembung, berwarna merah muda, perwarnaan Gram negatif, berbentuk batang, sel warna preparat berwarna merah muda, uji indol negatif, dan uji TSIA Dasar dan lereng berwarna kuning.
