Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui kadar SGOT dan SGPT selama kesembuhan fraktur menggunakan pin intramedular dan bone pin tulang biawak. Penelitian menggunakan 10 ekor merpati berumur 4-5 bulan, berat badan 300-500 g yang dibagi menjadi dua kelompok perlakuan. Kelompok 1 (P-1) diimplan pin intramedular dan kelompok 2 (P-2) diimplan bone pin. Pengambilan darah melalui vena brachialis pada hari ke-0 sebelum perlakuan, hari ke 3,7, dan 14 setelah perlakuan. Kadar SGOT dan SGPT dihitung menggunakan spektrofotometer. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan implan pin intramedular dan bone pin berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kadar SGOT (P0,05) dan tidak signifikan terhadap SGPT (P0,05). Kadar SGOT antara P-1 dan P-2 pada hari pertama dan hari terakhir pengamatan mengalami peningkatan yang masih dalam batas normal dengan perbedaan yang signifikan (P0,05). Kadar SGPT antara P-1 dan P-2 pada hari pertama pengamatan mengalami peningkatan dan penurunan pada hari terakhir pengamatan dengan perbedaan yang tidak signifikan (P0,05). Peningkatan kadar SGOT dan SGPT yang terjadi selama waktu pengamatan masih dalam batas normal, sehingga pin intramedular dan bone pin memiliki potensi sebagai alternatif alat fiksasi internal bagi burung.Kata kunci : Pin intramedular, bone pin,  SGOT dan SGPTABSTRACTThis study aims to determine the value of serum glutamic oxaloasetic transminase (SGOT) and serum glutamic pyruvic transminase (SGPT) during the fracture healing using internal fixation of monitor lizard bone (Varanus salvator). Ten pigeons aged 4-5-month-old, weighing 300-500 g were divided into two groups. Group 1 (P-1) implanted intramedular pin and group 2 (P-2)  implanted bone pin. Blood sample was taken from brachial vein on day 0 before implant, day three, seven, and 14 after implant. SGOT and SGPT value calculated using spectrophotometer. The results showed that intramedular pin and bone pin implant had effect significant on SGOT (P0,05) and not significant different SGPT (P0,05) value. SGOT value between P-1 and P-2 on the first and last day showed an increase which was still within normal limit with a significant difference (P0.05). SGPT value between P-1 and P-2 on the first day of observation showed an increase and decreased on the last day of observation with no significant difference (P0.05). The increase in SGOT and SGPT value that occurred during the observation period was still within normal limits, so that the intramedular pin and bone pin have potential as an alternative to internal fixation tools for birds.Key words : Intramedular pin, bone pin, SGOT and SGPT
