Abstract

PT IGASAR was one of the companies affiliated with PT Semen Padang with business activities in the fields of engineering, cement distribution, transportation, heavy equipment rental, cement-based building materials industry, manufacturing, general contractor, and developer. Some work accidents were still found in activities at this company. It was essential to making hazard identification, risk assessment, and determined the type of control in some areas. There are work accidents in PT IGASAR in as many as five cases in 2017 - 2018. One way was to use the Hazard Identification Risk Assessment Determine Control (HIRADC) Method. A risk analysis was done by looking at the opportunities and the severity of the hazards. Based on the results of the risk analysis, it was found that activities that were low risk, very high risk was absent while the medium risk was 100%. The risk control measures include the provision of personal protective equipment, the rule of safety signs, equipment maintenance, and the creation of road area boundaries.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the work safety climate in the production section of the X Company, crumb rubber industry in Padang City. Respondents were workers in the production section which consists of managerial, wet and dry production. The workers were interviewing and filling in the questionnaire namely a questionnaire with the Nordic Occupational Safety Climate Questionnaire (NOSACQ-50) method. The NOSACQ-50 method consists of 7 dimensions, Research shows that the value of work safety climate in 7 dimensions are 3.31; 3.30; 3.17; 3.28; 2.98; 3.33 and 3.21 and has an average value of 3.23 which is a very good category on a scale of 3-4. There is one dimension, namely the fifth dimension which is still in the good category of 2.98. The characteristics of respondents include age groups, years of service, education, job titles and work sections. Each group of respondents' characteristics was proven to have an influence on work safety climate where there were significant differences in perceptions between groups. The solutions for improvement based on safety climate measurement are to increase knowledge about work safety, takes strict action to implement the use of PPE in the production area, and make periodic checks on all production equipment.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the existing conditions of the solid waste management system in Pasaman Barat Regency and discuss the alternative development of solid waste management systems with a solid waste treatment approach At the regional and municipal scale as a solution to the problem of solid waste management in  Pasaman Barat Regency. From this study it is known that the level of existing solid waste management services was  only 9.13% of total solid waste generated. The problems faced in solid waste management in Pasaman Barat Regency were still high levels of unserved solid waste, inadequate operational facilities and infrastructure for solid waste management, uneven handling of solid waste in service area coverage and the low practice of waste minimization and utilization. The solid waste man-agement system in Pasaman West Regency in the future can apply a combination of solid waste manage-ment approaches at the regional level based on Solid Waste Treatment Station with reduce-reuse-recycle approach (TPS 3R) in domestic areas and treatment at the city level based on Intergrated Solid Waste Treatment Station (TPST) at the landfill site, with the development of the system planned for 15 years, solid waste volume taken into the landfill site can be reduced by 22.40%

Abstract

Kelelahan kerja adalah salah satu permasalahan dalam bidang kesehatan dan keselamatan kerja (K3) yang dapat menjadi faktor terjadinya kecelakaan kerja. Tak terkecuali pada industri semen di Indonesia. Hal ini diakibatkan karena industri tersebut sebagian masih menggunakan aktivitas fisik dalam melaksanakan produksinya. Pada kajian ini, dilakukan identifikasi dan analisis terhadap kelelahan kerja pada 7 industri semen di Indonesia serta faktor-faktor lingkungan kerja yang berpotensi menyebabkan kelelahan kerja. Kajian ini merupakan studi literatur dengan menganalisis artikel ilmiah terkait industri semen pada rentang tahun 2011-2020. Analisis faktor lingkungan kerja yangpaling berpengaruh dan signifikan dari semua data jurnal menggunakan uji analisis One Way Anova. Didapatkan hasil analisis kebisingan yaitu 68,6000%, debu sebesar 41,0000%, pencahayaan sebesar 53,0267% dan iklim sebesar 56,5567%. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa faktor lingkungan kerja yang paling berpengaruh terhadap kelelahan kerja yaitu kebisingan sebesar 68,6000%.Kebisingan terjadi karena mesin-mesin produksi rata-rata melebihi nilai ambang batas (NAB) >85 dB. Rekomendasi yang dapat dilakukan untuk mengurangi kebisingan yaitu pekerja menggunakan alat pelindung telinga (APT) seperti ear plug dapat mereduksi paparan intensitas kebisingan suara sebesar 20-30 dB dan ear muff sebesar 25-40 dB. Hasil analisis One Way Anova didapatkan nilai p- value sebesar 0,768 >0,05 berarti rata-rata keempat faktor lingkungan kerjatersebut sama secara signifikan.

Abstract

Analisis iklim keselamatan kerja pada industri semen di Indonesia dilakukan dengan mengetahui persepsi para pekerja terhadap kebijakan Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja(K3) yang ada. Setiap proses kerja yang terdapat di industri semen mulai dari proses penambangan hingga proses pengemasan mempunyai potensi bahaya K3 karena melibatkan berbagai macam peralatan, alat-alat listrik, dan interaksi pekerja dengan peralatan. Agar proses produksi berjalan lancar, sebaiknya meminimalisir terjadinya kesalahan kerja. Berdasarkan kajian literatur, dengan populasi sampel berkisar antara 30 hingga 102 pekerja sampel, terdapat beberapa faktor yang paling berpengaruh dalam manajemen dan iklim keselamatan kerja di Industri semen yaitu umur, masa kerja, sikap dan persepsi terhadap penerapan K3, pengetahuan (K3), safety talk, gaya kepemimpinan transformasional, budaya organisasi, motivasi ekstrinsik, lingkungan kerja fisik di tempat kerja dan kebijakan K3 pada perusahaan.  Perbaikan yang disarankan meliputi karakteristik pekerja, safety behavior dan budaya keselamatan.

Abstract

Keluhan nyeri muskuloskeletal sering terjadi di tiga pabrik karet remah terbesar yang berlokasi di Padang, Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis postur kerja menggunakan metode Rapid Entire Body Assessment (REBA) untuk pekerja di area produksi. Pengambilan data postur karyawan menggunakan bantuan kamera video serta lembar observasi. Responden dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari 135 pekerja area produksi basah dan 213 pekerja area produksi kering. Penilaian REBA menunjukkan bahwa 72,34% dari pekerjaan yang diperiksa termasuk dalam kategori risiko menengah. Skor REBA tertinggi di area produksi basah adalah dalam proses pengeringan alami. Sebaliknya, di area produksi kering, skor REBA tertinggi adalah dalam proses mengangkat kontainer dari truk. Berdasarkan Standar Indonesia No.7269 / 2009 tentang perhitungan beban kerja, ini menunjukkan bahwa pekerjaan di pabrik-pabrik tersebut berada dalam kategori beban kerja sedang dengan pengeluaran energi 200-350 kkal/ jam (46,81%). Hasil uji statistik dari hubungan antara usia, masa kerja, beban kerja, dan area kerja pada pekerjaan postural menunjukkan bahwa beban kerja adalah yang paling terkait dengan postur pekerja. Tindakan untuk memperbaiki postur kerja berdasarkan analisis REBA adalah dengan menyesuaikan posisi alat atau mesin dengan ketinggian tubuh pekerja, memperhatikan waktu kerja, dan waktu istirahat. Yang paling mendesak adalah menggunakan alat saat mengangkat wadah.  Abstract[Risk Assessment of Work Posture In Indonesian Crumb Rubber Factories Workers] Musculoskeletal pain complaints often occur in the three largest crumb rubber factories located in Padang, Indonesia. This study aimed to analyze the work posture using the Rapid Entire Body Assessment (REBA) method for workers in the production area. Retrieval of employee posture data utilizing the help of video cameras and observation sheets. Respondents consisted of 135 wet area workers and 213 dry area workers. The REBA assessment showed that 72.34% of the work examined was included in the medium-risk category. The highest REBA score in the wet area was in the natural drying process. In dry areas, the highest REBA score is in the process of lifting containers from trucks. Based on Indonesian Standard No.7269 / 2009, this shows that work in these factories was in the category of moderate workloads with an energy expenditure of 200-350 kcal/hour (46.81%). Statistical test results from the relationship between age, work-period, workload, and work area on postural work indicated that workload was most related to worker posture. Action to improve postural work was to adjust the position of the tool or machine with the height of the worker's body, pay attention to work time, and rest periods.Keywords: Musculoskeletal, Exposure assessment, work posture, REBA, crumb rubber factories

Abstract

 This study aims to determine the existing conditions of solid waste management in Padang Pariaman Regency and the problems faced, as well as to assess the potential of implementing a municipal solid waste management system using the reduce-reuse-recycle (3R) method through a 3R based Solid Waste Treatment Plant (3R-SWTP) for region scale and Integrated Solid Waste Treatment Plant (ISWTP) for the city scale as a solution to municipal solid waste problems. This study was conducted through surveys, observations and interviews with solid waste management institutions, collection of secondary solid waste management data and literature studies. From the survey, observation, and interview it was found that the solid waste generation of Padang Pariaman Regency was 1,396 m3/day and only 1,35% of the total solid waste was served. The problem of waste management faced were  the high amount of waste that is not served, the inadequate facilities and infrastructure for operational solid waste handling and the low level of solid waste minimization practices. Through the implementation of the 3R-SWTP and ISWTP-based solid waste management system, it is estimated that it will be able to minimize the city solid waste by 23% by operation of 7 unit of 3R-SWTP and 1 unit of ISWTP within 5 years. Keywords: solid waste management system, 3R method, 3R-SWTS, ISWTP, Padang Pariaman Regency  ABSTRAK  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kondisi eksisting pengelolaan sampah di Kabupaten Padang Pariamandan permasalahan yang dihadapi, serta mengkaji potensi penerapan sistem pengelolaan sampah kota dengan pendekatan metode reduce-reuse-recycle (3R) melalui sistem pengelolaan sampah berbasis Tempat Pengolahan Sampah (TPS3R)untuk skala kawasan dan Tempat Pengolahan Sampah Terpadu (TPST) untuk skala kota sebagai solusi permasalahan sampah kota kedepan. Studi ini dilakukan melalui survey, observasi dan wawancara dengan lembaga pengelola sampah, pengumpulan data skunder pengelolaan sampah dan studi literatur. Dari survey, observasi, dan wawancara diketahui bahwa timbulan sampah Kabupaten Padang Pariaman sebesar 1.396 m3/hari dan hanya1,35% sampah yang terlayani.Permasalahan pengelolaan sampah yang dihadapi adalah besarnya timbulan sampah yang tidak terlayani, sarana dan prasarana teknis operasional penanganan sampah yang belum memadai serta rendahnya praktik minimisasi sampah. Melalui penerapan sistem pengelolaan sampah berbasis TPS3R dan TPST diperkirakan akan dapat meminimisasisampah kota sebesar23% dengan operasional 7 buah TPS3R dan 1 buah TPST dalam jangka waktu 5 tahun. Kata Kunci: Sistem pengelolaan sampah, metode 3R, TPS3R, TPST, Kabupaten Padang Pariaman

Abstract

Latar belakang: Pekerjaan pengangkutan sampah rentan terhadap kecelakaan kerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis potensi bahaya dan faktor-faktor penyebab kecelakaan kerja, dan melakukan penilaian risiko pada pekerja pengangkut sampah di Kota Padang.Metode: Identifikasi bahaya dilakukan dengan metode observasional dan juga wawancara pada 46 orang pekerja pengangkut sampah. Tingkat risiko didapatkan dengan mengalikan keparahan dan peluang terjadinya risiko.Hasil: Berdasarkan hasil identifikasi didapatkan 13 potensi bahaya saat naik turun truk berulang kali, 11 potensi bahaya saat melempar sampah ke dalam truk, dan 12 potensi bahaya saat menyusun sampah di dalam truk. Berdasarkan hasil identifikasi faktor penyebab, didapatkan bahwa kecelakaan kerja sangat dipengaruhi oleh faktor pekerja, peralatan dan material, lingkungan kerja dan tata cara kerja. Potensi bahaya dengan risiko tinggi meliputi penyakit dan kecel-akaan lalu lintas pada kegiatan naik dan turun truk untuk mengambil sampah.Simpulan: Terdapat potensi bahaya rendah sampai tinggi dalam kegiatan pekerjaan pengangkutan sampah. Untuk itu, perlu adanya pengendalian terhadap risiko kerja pada pengangkut sampah di Kota Padang.Kata kunci: bahaya; risiko; pekerja pengangkutan sampah; kota padang ABSTRACTTitle: Hazard Identification and Occupational Risk Assessment of Solid Transport Workers in Padang CityBackground: Solid waste transport worker are prone to work accidents. This study aims to analyze the potential hazards and factors that cause work accidents, and assess the risk of solid waste transport workers in Padang city.Method: Hazard identification was carried out using observational methods and interviews with 46 waste transport workers. The level of risk is obtained by multiplying the severity and probability of the risk.Result: Result showed that there were 13 potential hazards when going up and down the truck repeatedly, 11 potential hazards when throwing garbage into the truck, and 12 potential hazards when arranging garbage in the truck. Based on the identification of the causative factors, it was found that work accidents are strongly influenced by factors of workers, equipment and materials, work environment and work procedures. Potential hazards with high risk include diseases and traffic accidents in the activity of getting on and off trucks to pick up garbage.Conclusion: There is a low to high hazard potential in waste transportation work activities. For this reason, it is necessary to control the work risks of solid waste transport workera in the Padang city.Keywords: hazard; risk; solid waste transport workers; padang city

Abstract

The Community Partnership Program (CPP) to help businesses grow and develop is carried out in the Panas Minder group (Palai Bada Khas Minangkabau Moderized) which is located in Pauh District, Padang City. The product of Panas Minder's business is typical Minangkabau Palai Bada food, the product is still being processed and marketed traditionally so that the product does not last long and only has a local market share. The objectives of the activities are to improve the processing of Palai Bada products by implementing innovation in the combustion processes, and improve the marketing strategy of Palai Bada products by adopting digital marketing. The mentoring methods used to assist partners are field meetings and business meeting. The results of the coaching activities are partners have adopted combustion innovationsusing modern Furcase and Panas Minder partners have been trained and guided to take advantage of digital marketing by creating websites and official Instagram lines.
