Fintech in Indonesia is an untapped market opportunity. As a country with the largest muslim population in the world, the prospect of Islamic fintech in Indonesia is very good. This study tries to answer the problems that occur, strategy, and stakeholders involved in developing Islamic fintech in Indonesia using the Interpretive Structural Model (ISM) approach. The core problem faced in developing the Islamic finance technology industry is the lack of policy instruments that maintain the work process of fintech and the availability of human resources for fintech. The strategy needed in the framework of developing Islamic fintech is the ability to manage and analyze data in the big data era and human resources in digital marketing. For ecosystem aspects or actors involved in developing Islamic fintech in Indonesia, important actors include government or regulators, educational institutions (universities), as well as existing industries (banks and other financial institutions).

The application of fiat money in transaction makes unstability in economy. To solve this problem, it needs a strong monetary system that support by stabil currency. This research is going to analyze the impact of dinar on economic stability in Indonesia. This study use vector error correction model as tool of analysis. The result shows that exchange rate had negative impat of economic growth, but dinar give a positive impact on economic growth. Besides that, the dinar doesn’t give an impact on inflation increasing in Indonesia. This result imply that the application of dinar will make an economy relatively stabil than fiat money currency.

The transmission mechanism of monetary policy has been an area of abundant economic researchin many countries. The financial system links monetary policy and the real economy. Thus, events ortrends that affect the financial system can also change the monetary transmission mechanism. This studytries to analyze shariah transmission mechanism in Indonesian dual monetary system, using Vector AutoRegression (VAR) and Vector Error Correction Model (VECM) methods. Results show that the relationship between SWBI (SBI Shariah) and shariah financing (LNFINCG) isnegative. It means, when SWBI be higher, the quantity of shariah financing would be lower. And so do SBI and inflation (LNIHK). When the total of shariah financing be increase, it will gives positive contributionfor reducing inflation rate in Indonesia, because with this system possibility to make equal growth among monetary and real sectors appears. Therefore, it will be strategic action for monetary authority to grow up shariah banking share in Indonesia, for minimizing "bad inflation" in economy. Other recommendation, SWBI as shariah monetary instrument should be reconsidered to achieve positive impact for real sector.

This research is aim to identify the priority factors that being barrier to develop the practice of cash waqf in Indonesia using Analytic Network Process (ANP) method. Here is also offered some solutions for the problems identified. ANP is a mathematic theory that allows one to deal systematically with dependence and feedback and that can capture and combine tangible and intangible factors by using ration scale. Result show that the problems appeared in managing cash waqf in Indonesia divided into 4 important aspects, there are: Human Resource aspect, trust aspect, system aspect, and sharia aspect. The rank for most priority problems to less priority based on the priority result are: 1) trust problems (whereas the most priority for this sub-criteria is donators’ lack of trust), 2) sharia problems (is unfulfilled waqf covenants), 3) human resource problems (is misappropriation of waqf funds, 4) system problems (is weak of management systems). Strategies that can be built to develop the practice of cash waqf in Indonesia based on the priorities are: 1) more computerized cash waqf management, 2) the development of waqf education institutions, 3) more comprehensive fund manager quality improvement, 4) transparency and accountability in every step.

One of the Muslim scholars called the historian of Schumpeters world is Ibn Khaldun. This figure has realized the great impact of economic factors on social and political life. Ibn Khalduns formulation shows the composite and relationship of variables that are the prerequisites for the realization of a state (G). The variables are syariah (S), society (N), wealth (W), and development (D). This research will try to test the relation between several economic and political variables proposed by Ibn Khaldun by using quantitative approach of Vector Autoregression (VAR) and Granger Causality test. There are some important findings. First, the variable W (welfare) has a significant effect on the level of development of a State (DEV). When a country has a good level of economic growth, then the physical development of a State is relatively good and positive. Vice versa. Second, the N variable (society) has a significant effect on the level of development of a State (DEV). This conclusion is in line with Ibn Khalduns thesis that the quantity and quality of human resources, especially those who work productively, will be able to improve the economy and the development of a State.Another conclusion is that the relatively stable state of the economy, the current government at that time will tend to have the power to survive in its leadership dynasty. In addition, with the good economic conditions and wealth of a State, the position and condition of the people will get better.

Meaning that, paying zakat (almsgiving) is not seen only as religious ritual but also it could touch humanity aspect by empowering its potency to maximize public wealth. On the other hand, the research related to zakat in Islamic economics area is still under study, if compared to the study of Islamic banking sector.  This study tries to review a number of research on zakat. The study uses descriptive statistical analysis based on selected 120 journal publications related to zakat, both national and international journal. The entire sample is derived from academic journal that have been published in the last six years, from 2010 to 2015.  The research shows that research on zakat is still dominated by the discussion of zakat institution (28%), followed by management of zakat (22%), zakat distribution (19%) and poverty (19%).
