Abstract

The aim of the study is to determine the effect of controlled release fertilizer application, soil conditioner and theinteraction of these two treatments on vegetative growth and nutrient uptake nitrogen and phosphorus of oil palmseedlings. The experiment was conducted in Research Department of First Resources Ltd, Riau in April 2013 untilJanuary 2014. Research design of the study used a randomized complete block design (RCBD) two factors with 3replications. The first factor was the controlled release fertilizer application/CRF (P) as follows: P1: SR NPKMg 15-15-6-4, P2: CRF NPKMg 17-8-9-3, P3: CRF NPKMg 18-8-8-2, P4: CRF NPKMg 20-6-14-3. The second factor was theapplication of soil conditioner (H) is H0 : Control, H: Liquid formulations of Bacillus sp, H2: Humic acid granularformulations, H3: Liquid formulations endopalma. The results showed that fertilization treatment CRF NPKMg 20-6-14-3 is treatment that gives the higher all vegetative growth parameters and all nutrient uptake parameters. Soil conditionertreatment granular humic acid gives the higher for crown dry weight, root dry, root volume and plant height. Interactionof CRF NPKMg 20-6-14-3 with control gives the higher for seed quality index, number of leaves, stem diameter, leaf areaand nutrient uptake parameters include nitrogen and phosphorus.

Abstract

Mucuna bracteata merupakan tanaman merambat dengan pertumbuhan vegetatif yang sangat cepat karena memiliki sistem perakaran yang dalam, namun permasalahan dalam proses pembibitan tanaman ini adalah pematahan dormansi biji. Mucuna memiliki kulit biji yang tebal, keras dan kedap yang menjadi penghalang mekanis masuknya air atau gas sehingga proses imbibisi sulit terjadi. Pematahan dormansi pada biji Mucuna bertujuan untuk meningkatkan daya kecambah serta mengevaluasi pertumbuhan vegetatif awal di pembibitan. Penelitian dilakukan di areal pembibitan PT. PSG jalan Kubang Raya, Kab. Kampar-Riau pada bulan Maret sampai Juni 2014 menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok 2 Faktorial dengan 3 ulangan. Faktor pertama adalah skarifikasi (S), yaitu S1 dilakukan skarifikasi pada biji dan S2 tidak dilakukan skarifikasi. Faktor kedua adalah perbedaan suhu, lama waktu dan jenis air perendaman (P), yaitu P1 air suhu 85oC 60 menit, P2 air suhu 85oC 120 menit, P3 air suhu 90oC 60 menit, P4 air suhu 90oC 120 menit, P5 H2SO4 30 menit, P6 H2SO4 60 menit dan P7 aquadest 60 menit. Parameter yang diamati antara lain daya kecambah, tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, warna daun dan jumlah cabang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kombinasi perlakuan perendaman biji dengan H2SO4 selama 60 menit tanpa skarifikasi menjadi kombinasi dengan rerata daya kecambah tertinggi sedangkan pertumbuhan vegetatif seluruh kombinasi perlakuan menunjukkan keragaan fenotipe yang sama.

Gerakan Sarvodaya di Sri Langka berhasil merumuskan infrastruktur sosial-ekonomi yang mencerminkan pola keadilan dan kebersamaan. Dua prinsip yang di tekankan dalam islam itu, agaknya belum di barengi dengan upaya optimal pemeluknya di Indonesia untuk mewujudkannya dalam kehidupan nyata. Inilah barang kali salah satu tantangan umat islam untuk berperan serta dalam membangun negerinya.

Abstract

This paper presents a platform development plan for a public vaccination decentralized data base based on Blockchain technology. Vaccination is a medical practice that allows a human body to produce a specific antibody as a means of developing a preventive measure and reducing the risk of contracting a particular disease. Systematic vaccination data recording is an utmost important system that is required particularly during the Covid-19 pandemic. The recording mechanism should utilize the state-of-the-art information and communication technology (ICT). For faster vaccination data recording, it is common to use digital technology, making the health care process faster thus decreasing time needed for the vaccination process. Data related to medical records, i.e. vaccination data records, are essential for the continuity of care of the patients. For health professionals, medical records provide an insight on the clinical judgment being exercised at the time. The presence of a complete, up-to-date and accurate medical record including all vaccination received by a patient can make all the difference to the outcome of a treatment. Although today the digital medical records have been implemented in different traditional database, these database is still very much disintegrated and prone to the happening of natural disaster. Access to medical records will become increasingly important as medical treatments become more complicated and the increase of aging population, while disasters will likely continue to occur with regular frequency. In order to tackle the problem, we propose a blockchain-based application with decentralized storage to provide easy tracing of vaccinated people while maintaining the availability and the resilience of the data stored. Blockchain technology is applied to ensure that the data remain available and secure even during natural disaster occurrence. The decentralized application proposed in this paper is built using Hyperledger Fabric, Django, and cURL. The application is deployed in the cloud using Amazon Web Services (AWS).
