Abstract

Eleutherine bulbosa (Mill.) Urb come from the Iridaceae family, this species contains secondary metabolites in the form of flavonoids and quinones. This research method includes Brine Shrimp Lethality Test (BSLT) toxicity using Artemia salina Leach larvae to determine the LC50 value. This study used experimental methods pharmacologically using a completely randomized design in the same direction pattern in the selection of test animals, 25 animals used were white mice divided into 5 groups with 5 mice per group, with 4 hours observed to find out toxic symptoms and continued observation every 24 hours to see death. Testing of BSLT results showed that ethanol extract had LC50 toxicity = 66.68 ppm (very toxic category), n-hexane fraction had LC50 toxicity = 47.64 ppm (very toxic category), chloroform fraction had LC50 toxicity = 295.1 ppm ( toxic category), and the water fraction has a toxicity of LC50 = 194.54 ppm (very toxic category). The chloroform fraction is an active fraction. Acute toxicity test LD50 value according to the calculation method of Miller Tainter Probit (187,499 mg/KgBB), the method of calculation of Thompson Weil (182,810 mg/KgBB), how to calculate Indonesian Pharmacopoeia (187,068 mg/KgBB). Based on the three calculations, the LD50 value is in the medium category (50-500 mg/kgBB).

Abstract

AbstractThe general problem of research "Whether by using cooperative learning index card match techniques can improve student learning outcomes in learning the use of units of time in class IV Elementary School 11 Pontianak East?".Using descriptive method. The Class Action Research Form is collaborative. The subjects of the research are teachers as researchers and students of class IV which amounted to 24 people. Using direct observation techniques and documentation techniques, data collection tools of observation sheets and test instruments. Score data of teachers' ability to design and implement learning using cooperative learning index card match technique can improve learning outcomes of learners in learning class IV Mathematics. The study was conducted 3 cycles. Every cycle I meeting. The results achieved in this study the ability of teachers to design the learning cycle with an average score of 2.70, cycle II 3.36, cycle III 3.93. The ability of teachers to implement learning cycle I average 3.05, cycle II 3.53, cycle 3 3.81. Student learning outcomes in learning cycle I average 70.42, cycle II 82.29, cycle III 90.21. Abstract

ABSTRACT Analysis cyanide acid in Solanum melongena and Solanum quitoense L before and after boiling. Cyanide acid is esthabushed by argonometricm method (Volhard) with three times repetition, for each kinds of eggplants Solanum melongena L dan Solanum quitoense L. The research showed have endireated that before boiling the content of cyanide acid Solanum melongena L (Craigi eggplant 71,712 mg/kg, kopek eggplant 46,310 mg/kg, gelatik eggplant 0 mg/kg) and Solanum quitoense L (asam eggplant 30,434 mg/kg) after boiling, the cyanide acid to slop Solanum melongena (Craigi eggplant 19,321 mg/kg, kopek eggplant 6.620 mg/kg, gelatik eggplant 0 mg/kg and Solanum quitoense L (asam eggplant 3.445 mg/kg). There is significant content have been reduced of cyanide acid in Solanum melongena L dan Solanum quitoense L Keywords: Solanum melongena dan Solanum quitoense L, Cyanide acid ABSTRAK Telah dilakukan analisis asam sianida dalam Solanum melongena dan Solanum quitoense L sebelum dan sesudah perebusan menggunakan metode Volhard dengan tiga kali pengulangan. Data hasil penelitian menunjukkan kandungan asam sianida sebelum perebusan Solanum melongena (terong Craigi 71,712 mg/kg, terong kopek 46,310 mg/kg, terong gelatik 0 mg/kg) dan Solanum quitoense L (terong asam 30,434 mg/kg) sedangkan setelah dilakukan perebusan (terong Craigi 19,321 mg/kg, terong kopek 6.620 mg/kg, terong gelatik 0 mg/kg) and Solanum quitoense L (terong asam 3.445 mg/kg). Terdapat perbedaan kandungan penting yang dapat mengurangi kadar asam sianida dalam Solanum melongena L dan Solanum quitoense L. Kata kunci: Solanum melongena dan Solanum quitoense L, Asam Sianida
