Abstract

AbstractLand conversion phenomenon is the greatest immediate threat to food security of the nation. Therefore, it necessary effort to prevent. The Regulation No. 41/2009 regarding a sustainable foodland protection aim to deal with the threat of foodland conversion. Those concerned about the current implementation of the policies relatively ineffective. This study aims to describes the spread of foodland, land conversion trend; to identify significant factor of foodland conversion and then formulate concept and strategy to deal with significant factors influencing foodland conversion in Pesawaran Regency, Lampung Province. This study was an exploratory and qualitative methods. Foodland are spread in all around Pesawaran Regency area. Due to the ownership of foodland by farmers are relatively small (0,50 hectares average). Foodland conversion had been for a long time, began with relatively low frequencies conveyance through a sale transaction. However, economic factors as driving forces of land conversion. In the strategy to deal with foodland conversion are strict enforcement The Regulation No.41/2009 through suitable policy began with establishing regional regulation of sustainable foodland protection and formulated several strategic plan with suitable budget policy. The implementation of regulation about foodland sale transaction system can be considered as a instrument to prevent land conversion with incentives for farmers through subsidy those increase land productivity and increasing community participation to defend sustainable foodland in order to gain sustainable prosperous living. Keywords: land conversion, sustainable foodland, foodland protection AbstrakFenomena alih fungsi lahan pangan sangat mengancam ketahanan dan kedaulatan pangan bangsa. Terbitnya Undang-Undang No. 41 Tahun 2009 Tentang Perlindungan Lahan Pertanian Berkelanjutan merupakan antisipasi dalam mengatasi alih fungsi lahan pertanian pangan. Masalah yang dihadapi adalah rendahnya efektifitas dalam implementasi kebijakan. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mendiskripsikan sebaran lahan pertanian pangan, kecenderungan alih fungsi lahan pangan; mengidentifikasi faktor penyebab dan merumuskan konsep serta strategi mengatasi alih fungsi lahan pangan di Kabupaten Pesawaran, Provinsi Lampung. Penelitian menggunakan metode ekploratif dan kualitatif. Lahan pertanian pangan tersebar di seluruh kecamatan Kabupaten Pesawaran. Pemilikan sawah kecil (rata-rata 0,50 ha). Alih fungsi lahan pangan sudah berlangsung cukup lama, diawali dengan pemindahan hak atas tanah melalui proses jual beli dengan frekuensi relatif rendah. Alih fungsi lahan pangan disebabkan oleh faktor ekonomi. Strategi untuk mengatasi alih fungsi lahan pangan adalah menindaklanjuti Undang-Undang No. 41/ Tahun 2009 melalui perumusan kebijakan yang tepat diawali dengan Penetapan Peraturan Daerah tentang perlindungan lahan pangan berkelanjutan dan penyusunan rencana strategis dalam implementasinya Pserta ditunjang kebijakan anggaran yang sesuai. Penerapan peraturan sistem jual beli lahan pangan dapat dipertimbangkan sebagai instrumen untuk pencegahan alih fungsi lahan pangan disertai pemberian insentif kepada petani berupa subsidi yang mampu meningkatkan kualitas lahan produktivitasnya, serta kebijakan pajak bagi petani yang mampu mempertahankan keberadaan lahan pangan berkelanjutan serta peningkatan partisipasi masyarakat mempertahankan lahan pangan secara berkelanjutan bagi keberlangsungan kehidupan yang sejahtera. Kata Kunci: alih fungsi lahan, lahan pangan berkelanjutan, perlindunga lahan pangan

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the household income and the prosperity grade of pepper farmers’ household in Tanjung Raja District of North Lampung Regency. This research was conducted in Tanjung Raja Village and Sinar Jaya Village of Tanjung Raja District, North Lampung Regency in January - February 2018 using a survey method. The samples were 62 pepper farmers taken by using simple random sampling. This research uses descriptive quantitative method to determine the income and the expenditure. Factors influencing the prosperity were analyzed by using binary logit in which the influential factors were found by looking at the significant values in Z-Statistics. The results showed that the household income of pepper farmers in the research area was categorized as high because the household income has reached for about two million five hundred thousand until three million five hundred thousand rupiah per month. The most contributed income was derived from pepper farming activities and the rest was contributed from non-pepper farming, off-farming, and non-farming activities. Based on BPS criteria, pepper farmer households at Tanjung Raja District were categorized as prosperous as many as 85.48 percent and were not prosperous as many as 14.52 percent. Based on the regression analysis using binary logit, there were two factors influencing the prosperity grade of pepper farmers, i.e household income and the number of jobs.Key words: household income, pepper farming, prosperity grade.

Abstract

The purposes of this research were to analyze the level of household income and the welfare of coffee farmers in Gunung Terang Village, Air Hitam District, West Lampung Regency.  This research location was chosen purposively in Gunung Terang Village, Air Hitam District, West Lampung Regency.  The research was conducted by survey method.  Data collection was carried out in October 2017 until November 2017.  The sample size was 40 coffee farmers who were drawn by simple random sampling technique.  The analysis used analysis of farm income and household welfare according to Sayogyo criteria.  The results of this study indicate that the average household income of coffee farmers in Gunung Terang Village, Air Hitam Subdistrict, West Lampung Regency were relatively high and the welfare of coffee farmer households based on Sayogyo criteria were categorize as prosperous.Key words: coffee, income, prosperity

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the factors that affect organic rice production, determine the level of efficiency of organic rice production, find out the marketing chain of organic rice and the prospects for sustainability of the organic rice program after the assistance project was completed. The research was conducted in Central Lampung Regency on March-May 2018. The research sample consisted of 32 organic rice farmers using a census method. Data were analyzed using Cobb-Douglass production function method, frontier production function, and S-C-P (Structure, Conduct, Performance) method. The results showed that the prospect of the sustainability of the program with the SRI method was not successfully implemented and the factors that affected the organic rice production were seeds and compost fertilizer. Farmers in Central Lampung Regency from year to year have always experienced a decline in organic rice production, which has an effect on the level of farming efficiency. The value of technical efficiency obtained was 86.21% and the value of ?bi?1, so that farming has not been efficient. Organic rice at the research site was marketed from farmers to farmer groups and directly to consumers. The RPM value obtained was equal to 3.74%.Keywords: analyze, efficiency, marketing, production, organic rice

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the procurement of raw material, added value, and the factors causing inactivity of 18 cassava chips agroindustries. This research was conducted in Way Jepara District, East Lampung Regency in May -July 2018. Respondents were active and non-active cassava chips agroindustries in Way Jepara District. Procurement of raw materials is analyzed using six-component method. The added value is analyzed use Hayami's method, and the cause of inactivity of the 18 cassava chips agroindustries is analyzed qualitatively. The results showed that the procurement of raw materials with six components, namely time, place, price, quantity, quality, and type of active agroindustry is appropriate, because it is in line with the expectations of each active agroindustry. Three active agroindustries have a positive added value (NT>0) can absorb labor, and can increase the income of the community around the agroindustry. The main factors causing the inactivity of 18 cassava chips agroindustries in Way Jepara District in production are less extensive product marketing coverage and low level of demand for the chips produced.Key words: added value, agroindustry, cassava, raw material

Abstract

This research aims to know the financial feasibility evaluation and profitability at PT. SPU and AF in Jati Agung Sub-district of South Lampung Regency. This research location was selected purposively. The data was collected in October - December 2018. The research method used was comparative study. This research compares between PT SPU with AF. The respondents include the owners of each layer farm. The data analysis method used was qualitative and quantitative descriptive analysis. The data analysis using profit analysis, Internal Rate of Return (IRR), Net Present Value (NPV), Payback Period (PP), Gross Benefit Cost Ratio (Gross B/C), Net Benefit Cost Ratio (Net B/C).with interest rate of 9 percent. The result showed that PT SPU and AF was profitable and can con continue to be developed. Financially, the business is still viable because the NPV and Net B/C is higher than 1, and the value of IRR is higher than the interest rate. Keywords: agribusiness system, layer, profit

Abstract

This study aims to explore the consumers’ attitudes and satisfaction toward restaurant. This research is conducted at "XXX" Lamongan Restaurant in Bandar Lampung. Data collection was carried out in January-February 2019 by the case study method employing the number of respondents of 60 people who were selected by nonprobability sampling method. The data were analyzed using Multiatribut Fishbein Model, Customer Satisfaction Index and Importance Performance Analysis. The results of this research showed that food taste has the highest score of consumers attitude toward restaurant. The satisfaction level of the restaurant has the value of 83.73%, included to the very satisfied category. The restaurant has been implementing the product attributes that were suitable with consumers’ wishes.Key words : consumer, restaurant, satisfaction
