<![CDATA[AbstractNotaries and PPATs have legal protection in carrying out their positions. The problem in this journal is how the form of legal protection for Notaries and PPAT in carrying out their profession. The research method used in this journal is normative research. The results of this journal's research are a form of legal protection by a Notary in carrying out their profession, namely the Notary Supervisory Council and Notary Authority Council in accordance with Article 66 A paragraph (1) UUJN while the form of legal protection by PPAT is the presence of the PPAT and / or IPPAT Supervisory and Supervisory Council. is to provide legal assistance to PPAT in accordance with Article 50 Permen ATR / Head of BPN Number 2 of 2018. The conclusion of this journal is that Notaries and PPAT have different forms of legal protection but the purpose of legal protection obtained by Notaries and PPAT is the same, namely to protect Notaries and PPAT if they make a mistake up to the court's authority in carrying out their position.Keywords: notary; land titles registrar; legal protectionAbstrakNotaris dan PPAT mempunyai perlindungan hukum dalam menjalankan jabatannya. Penelitian ini hendak meneliti tentang bagaiman bentuk perlindungan hukum terhadap Notaris dan PPAT dalam menjalankan profesinya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam jurnal ini yaitu penelitan normatif. Hasil penelitian jurnal ini adalah bentuk perlindungan hukum oleh Notaris dalam menjalankan profesinya yaitu dengan adanya Majelis Pengawas Notaris dan Majelis Kewenangan Notaris sesuai dengan Pasal 66 A ayat (1) UUJN sedangkan bentuk perlindungan hukum oleh PPAT yaitu adanya Majelis Pembina dan Pengawas PPAT dan/atau IPPAT ialah memberikan bantuan hukum terhadap PPAT sesuai dengan Pasal 50 Permen ATR/Kepala BPN Nomor 2 Tahun 2018. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa Notaris dan PPAT mempunyai bentuk perlindungan hukum yang berbeda tetapi tujuan dari perlindungan hukum yang didapatkan oleh Notaris dan PPAT sama yaitu untuk melindungi Notaris dan PPAT jika melakukan kesalahan sampai dengan keranah pengadilan dalam menjalankan jabatannya.Kata kunci: notaris; PPAT; perlindungan hukum]]>
