Abstract

Ekowisata berbasis masyarakat menjadi salah satu pendekatan yang efektif dalam menjaga kelestarian hutan mangrove. Strategi untuk menetapkan prioritas pengembangan kawasan mangrove, dapat dilakukan dengan menganalisis kerapatan hutan mangrove. Kawasan mangrove dengan nilai kerapatan paling rendah perlu diprioritaskan sebagai strategi preservasi dan konservasi melalui konsep ekowisata berbasis masyarakat. Artikel ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi sebaran mangrove menggunakan model normalized difference vegetation index (NDVI) di Kabupaten Halmahera Utara, Indonesia. Perspektif penghidupan berkelanjutan digunakan untuk mendiskusikan konteks sosio-kultural masyarakat lokal. Penelitian ini mengadopsi metode campuran. Pengolahan data terbagi menjadi dua tahap yakni: tahap pertama, pemetaan sebaran hutan mangrove berdasarkan tingkat kerapatan; tahap kedua, trianggulasi. Pemetaan sebaran hutan mangrove menggunakan citra satelit Landsat 8 operational land imager (OLI) tahun 2013 dan 2021 serta model NDVI di Tanjung Pilawang, Pulau Kumo, Pulau Kakara, Pulau Maiti, dan Pulau Tagalaya. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Tanjung Pilawang pada zona 1 dan 2 memiliki Nilai NDVI paling rendah di tahun 2021 yakni 0,22 dengan kategori jarang, sehingga perlu diprioritaskan dalam pengembangan ekowisata mangrove berbasis komunitas sebagai strategi perlindungan kawasan hutan mangrove.

Abstract

Salatiga adalah sebuah kota kecil di Provinsi Jawa Tengah, Indonesia. Universitas Kristen Satya Wacana (UKSW) adalah salah satu universitas yang terdapat di Salatiga. Meski berada di kota kecil, UKSW memiliki mahasiswa yang datang untuk menuntut ilmu dari berbagai daerah di luar Salatiga. Tak heran jika daerah sekitar UKSW mudah dijumpai rumah kost. Rumah kost biasanya diidentikkan dengan mahasiswa. Mahasiswa yang memiliki kerabat atau kenalan dari Salatiga tidak mengalami kendala berarti dalam mencari kost strategis sesuai anggaran dan pertimbangan lainnya. Namun, bagi mereka yang berasal dari luar daerah akan sulit menentukan tempat kost mana yang akan menjadi tempat tinggalnya. Oleh karena itu, akan dibangun sistem informasi rumah kost yang mengakomodir pemilik kost di Salatiga untuk mempromosikan kostnya, dan memudahkan mahasiswa dalam menentukan rumah kost yang diinginkan sesuai dengan pertimbangan biaya, lokasi dari kampus, dan fasilitas yang tersedia di rumah kost. Sistem akan dibangun menggunakan metode object oriented dan Unified Modelling Language (UML) sebagai pemodelannya. Sistem ini akan berjalan di platform android.

Abstract

The high intensity of rainfall at the end of 2020 and early 2021 not only caused several areas in Indonesia to be flooded but also landslides. Landslides can occur due to soil movements in the rainy season and are influenced by tectonic conditions in Indonesia which are always changing. Bawen and Tuntang Districts are two districts in Semarang Regency, Central Java. Both areas were hit by floods and landslides in April 2020. The material and moral losses of the local population are inevitable. To take precautions as early as possible in order to reduce future losses, it is necessary to conduct research on the potential of landslide-prone areas in Bawen and Tuntang Districts. The analysis was carried out using the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method to calculate the percentage of an area where landslides occurred. The parameters used include land cover, slope, rainfall, Soil Adjusted Vegetation Index (SAVI), Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI), and Normalized Difference Wetness Index (NDWI). The results of this study indicate that the level of landslide vulnerability in Bawen and Tuntang Districts is classified as "kurang rawan". The results of this study are expected to become a spatial planning document based on landslide disaster mitigation in Semarang Regency, especially in Bawen and Tuntang Districts.

Abstract

The development of information technology has shifted the human paradigm in doing shopping from the traditional way that requires sellers and buyers to meet directly to electronic commerce (e-commerce) which is completely online. Shopee as one of the players in the e-commerce business has transformed into one of the big marketplaces, both in Indonesia and in the world. As an e-commerce company that has a worldwide reputation, Shopee is not the only player in the E-commerce business. To be able to survive in the midst of tight digital competition, of course Shopee is expected to always innovate to maintain service quality and increase competitiveness against its competitors. Therefore, an analysis will be carried out using S.W.O.T. to find out the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats that can occur to Shopee e-commerce. Based on the results of the analysis carried out, it was found that the strength of Shopee lies in its reputation, its weakness is that it is not e-commerce from Indonesia, the opportunity is a marketplace business that is not bound by space and time, and the threat is that there are many competitors for a similar business model. From these results, to reduce weaknesses and threats, as well as increase the strengths and opportunities that Shopee has, it can be done by implementing the S-O, W-O, S-T, and W-T strategies.

Abstract

Covid-19 has shocked the world since it first appeared at the end of December 2019. At the beginning of 2022, the global community is more prepared to face the COVID-19 pandemic, especially with the mass vaccination program in countries around the world, including Indonesia. The next issue is how effective the vaccine is in dealing with the COVID-19 virus. The main parameter used is to see the recovery rate of patients affected by COVID-19 based on the history of vaccine doses that have been received by the patient. In this study using data mining techniques, namely using the Naïve Bayes algorithm. The test results show the accuracy of the Naïve Bayes algorithm is 98.14%. The prediction results show that the recovery rate of patients who have received the vaccine, either dose 1, dose 2, or dose 3 (booster) is higher than those who have not been vaccinated at all (dose 0). The results of this study are expected to provide an overview to the public and the government about the benefits of vaccination in dealing with the Covid-19 virus.

Abstract

Ketersediaan air bersih di wilayah Kabupaten Bengkayang menjadi tugas dari PERUMDAM Tirta Bengkayang. Namun PERUMDAM Tirta Bengkayang sendiri saat ini masih berjuang dalam meningkatkan mutu layanan yang mana Intake atau sumber airnya, yaitu intake Madi, memiliki permasalahan yaitu banjir luapan air yang sulit terdeteksi akibat semakin banyaknya curah hujan yang tertampung mengakibatkan air memiliki tekanan yang besar dan mempengaruhi nilai ambang batas intake. Alhasil kondisi ini menyebabkan meluapnya air dan akhirnya banjir dan menyebabkan pipa tidak mampu lagi menampung tekanan yang besar dan meledak. Dari keterlambatan untuk mendeteksi luapan air mengakibatkan pipa bocor dan terpaksa intake harus dihentikan sehingga air PDAM alirannya dihentikan ke rumah konsumen. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan deteksi pipa yang bocor dengan melakukan simulasi deteksi dini banjir pada intake PERUMDAM Tirta Bengkayang menggunakan proteus dan IoT(Internet of Things) Arduino Uno yang terintegrasi web untuk log. Dari hasil uji simulasi, prototype ini diujikan pada pihak Perumdam Tirta Bengkayang. Nilai rata-rata pengujian dapat mendeteksi dengan akurat hingga 100 cm lebih ketika prototype didemonstrasikan dengan tingkat validitas sebesar 90% pada uji blacbox dan mampu terintegrasi web untuk pencatatan log harian.

Abstract

Perubahan penyampaian dan penyajian informasi dalam lembaga pendidikan merupakan pengaruh dari kemajuan teknologi informasi. Dalam hal ini, Institut Shanti Bhuana (ISB) sebagai perguruan tinggi swasta juga beradaptasi dengan perkembangan teknologi untuk menciptakan jaringan alumni yang baik sebagai aset penting sebagai citra institusi. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan adanya sistem informasi pendataan alumni berbasis website yang efektif dan efisien serta menyesuaikan dengan kebutuhan institusi. Pembangunan website dilakukan menggunakan motode spiral yang memungkinkan terjadinya perubahan sistem untuk melakukan evaluasi secara berkesinambungan. Selain itu, metode spiral juga memungkinkan perbaikan dengan cepat sesuai dengan kebutuhan user dan perbaikan sistem secara bertahap sehingga dapat menghindari risiko kegagalan proyek juga menghemat waktu dan biaya yang dikeluarkan. Pengujian website dilakukan menggunakan BlackBox Testing. Hasil penelitian yang dilakukan menghasilkan sebuah website yang telah diimplementasikan dan telah digunakan oleh para alumni Institut Shanti Bhuana. Dengan implementasi Website Pendataan Alumni, diharapkan kualitas pelayanan Pusat Karir dan Alumni Institut Shanti Bhuana dapat meningkat dan memberikan manfaat bagi para alumni.

Abstract

Abstract - The Shanti Bhuana Institute is one of the colleges in the Bengkayang. The campus, which was founded in 2016, is now getting busier, both because of the increasing number of students from year to year, as well as the number of employees working there. This raises problems, one of which is related to the reservation (borrowing) of several rooms that can be used freely, both for lectures and meetings. Previously, recording room reservations was still done manually using paper. In addition, recording reservations is also not flexible because someone must to go to an authorized employee to record reservations. To adapt to the challenges of the digital era and the green economy, it is necessary to reduce the use of paper (paperless) by building a website-based room reservation system where users can make reservations that can be accessed in real-time anytime and anywhere. The research method used will apply the principle of object oriented programming. The system was built using the PHPRad framework with system implementation carried out at the Shanti Bhuana Institute. System implementation went well with a total of 5 rooms that could be reserved and 168 reservations had occurred since the system was implemented.

Abstract

In Desa Puteng, an agricultural village within Bengkayang Regency, corn cultivation plays a significant role in the local economy. However, farmers in this community often encounter challenges in effectively fertilizing their corn crops, resulting in diminished productivity. To address this issue, an innovative approach to enhance training for the creation of simple and effective corn fertilizer tools was introduced through the use of video tutorials, which helped overcome language barriers, and offered visual, step-by-step guidance. This approach is aimed at improving the effectiveness of training and ensuring that farmers can easily access knowledge and skills, thereby increasing their agricultural productivity. Moreover, it also has the potential to disseminate agricultural information and technology to remote farming communities, contributing to the overall agricultural development in the region. This project was initiated by Institut Shanti Bhuana, with the primary goal of empowering the local corn farming community through effective training in corn fertilizer tool construction using innovative video tutorials. The objectives were to enhance farmers' understanding on efficient corn fertilization, teach them simple yet effective tool-making techniques, and overcome language barriers. Through the implementation of this project, Institut Shanti Bhuana aspires to create a positive impact on farmers' lives and elevate the overall welfare of rural communities.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPerkembangan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi yang pesat tidak dapat dihindari dan berpengaruh signifikan pada dunia pendidikan. Dunia pendidikan terus mendapat tekanan untuk selalu beradaptasi dengan perkembangan teknologi guna meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan. Oleh karena itu, sumber daya manusia yang berkompetensi menjadi suatu keharusan. Sehingga diadakan pelatihan dan pengembangan terkait dengan penggunaan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi. Pelaksanaan kegiatan tersebut dilaksanakan di salah satu sekolah di perbatasan, yaitu SMPN 1 Teriak, Kecamatan Teriak, Kabupaten Bengkayang, Provinsi Kalimantan barat . Pelaksanaan pelatihan dan pengembangan ini melalui program Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM). Pada kegiatan ini berfokus pada penggunaan microsoft office seperti word, power point dan excel. Dengan adanya kegiatan pelatihan dan pengembangan ini diharapkan kualitas sumber daya manusia akan meningkat. Sehingga mutu pendidikan di SMPN 1 Teriak secara otomatis juga akan meningkat. Selain itu diharapkan siswa yang mengikuti pelatihan ini dapat mengembangkan keterampilan dalam teknologi yang mungkin akan diperlukan oleh siswa dikemudian hari. Pelaksanaan pelatihan ini dilakukan secara offline dengan diikuti oleh seluruh guru, tenaga kependidikan (staff) dan beberapa siswa. Hasil dari adanya pelatihan ini adalah peserta lebih mengetahui manfaat teknologi dalam dunia pendidikan dan mengetahui cara mengoperasikan teknologi komputer dengan baik, peserta dapat secara langsung mempraktekkan terkait dengan apa yang telah dipelajari pada pelatihan tersebut. Berdasarkan kuesioner yang dibagikan di akhir kegiatan juga menunjukkan nilai rata-rata 4.051 dari nilai maksimal 5 untuk kegiatan Pelatihan yang telah dilangsungkan. Kata kunci: TIK; microsoft office; pelatihan teknologi ABSTRACTThe rapid development of information and communication technology cannot be avoided and has a significant impact on the world of education. So that training and development is held related to the use of information and communication technology. This activity was carried out at one of the schools on the border, namely SMPN 1 Teriak, Teriak District, Bengkayang Regency, West Kalimantan Province. This training and development is carried out through the Community Service (PkM) program. This activity focuses on using Microsoft Office such as Word, Power Point and Excel. With this training and development activity, it is hoped that the quality of human resources will increase. So the quality of education at SMPN 1 Teriak will automatically increase. In addition, it is hoped that students who take part in this training can develop skills in technology that students may need in the future. This training was carried out offline and was attended by all teachers, education staff (staff) and several students. The result of this training is that participants know more about the benefits of technology in the world of education and know how to operate computer technology well, participants can directly practice what they have learned in the training. Based on the questionnaire distributed at the end of the activity, it also showed an average score of 4,051 out of a maximum score of 5 for the training activities that had taken place.Keywords: ICT; microsoft office; technology training.
