Abstract

This work discusses the development of information technology service management using cloud computing approach to improve the performance of administration system and online learning at STMIK IBBI Medan, Indonesia. The network topology is modeled and simulated for system administration and online learning. The same network topology is developed in cloud computing using Amazon AWS architecture. The model is designed and modeled using Riverbed Academic Edition Modeler to obtain values of the parameters: delay, load, CPU utilization, and throughput. The simu- lation results are the following. For network topology 1, without cloud computing, the average delay is 54  ms, load 110 000 bits/s, CPU utilization 1.1%, and throughput 440  bits/s.  With  cloud  computing,  the  average  delay  is 45 ms,  load  2 800  bits/s,  CPU  utilization  0.03%,  and throughput 540 bits/s. For network topology 2, without cloud computing, the average delay is 39  ms, load 3 500 bits/s, CPU utilization 0.02%, and throughput database server 1 400 bits/s. With cloud computing, the average delay is 26 ms, load 5 400 bits/s, CPU utilization email server 0.0001%, FTP server 0.001%, HTTP server 0.0002%, throughput email server 85 bits/s, FTP    server 100 bits/sec, and HTTP server 95  bits/s.  Thus,  the  delay, the load, and the CPU utilization decrease; but,  the throughput increases. Information technology service management with cloud computing approach has better performance.

Abstract

Redistribusi protokol routing saat ini sering dijumpai dibanyak kasus seperti penggabungan dua perusahaan atau ketika jaringan internal didalam satu Autonomous System (AS) ingin terhubung dengan internet yang terdiri dari ribuan AS yang berbeda. Open Shortest Path First (OSPF) adalah salah satu protokol routing Interior Gateway Protocol (IGP) yang paling banyak digunakan, sementara Border Gateway Protokol (BGP) merupakan satu-satunya protokol routing yang digunakan di internet. Salah satu kekurangan BGP yaitu memiliki waktu konvergensi yang paling lambat dibanding yang lain [8]. Oleh sebab itu banyak penelitian dilakukan agar dapat mengurangi waktu konvergensi BGP diantaranya adalah dengan pengaturan keepalive dan hold time BGP. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan simulasi redsitribusi protokol routing OSPF dan BGP dengan mengatur nilai keepalive dan hold time BGP untuk menghasilkan waktu konvergensi yang cepat. Nilai optimal keepalive dan hold time pada penelitian ini adalah 30 detik untuk hold time dan 10 detik untuk keepalive yang menghasilkan rata-rata waktu konvergensi 28.86 detik yang lebih cepat dibanding penelitian sebelumnya [2].

Abstract

The increasing demand for information on the internet causes the traffic load on the web server to increase. Therefore it can cause the workload on a web server service to be overloaded (request), so that the server is down (overloaded). Based on previous research the application of load balancing can reduce the burden of traffic on the web server. This research method uses load balancing on servers with round robin algorithm and least connections as well as a single server as a comparison. The parameters measured are throughput, responses time, requests per second, CPU utilization. From the test results obtained Haproxy load balancing system, the least connection algorithm is superior to the round robin algorithm. Generated per-second request value of 2607,141 req / s and throughput of 9.25 MB / s for the least connection, while 2807,171 req / s and 9.30 MB / s for round robin.

Abstract

This research aims to develop a solution application and make work easier during the Covid-19 pandemic, especially in online attendance activities and office management. This study also completes the shortcomings of previous studies, where previous studies used the geotagging feature. The development tools used by researchers use the android studio and the waterfall System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) development method. The result of this research is an application that is connected to the internet in the process of attendance activities. The attendance data is stored in the database along with the photos entered at the time of attendance.Keywords:Android, SDLC, Online Attendance, Management.

Abstract

Heart disease is a condition when the heart is experiencing a disorder. The forms of disturbance that are experienced are usually various. Usually there is a disturbance in the blood vessels of the heart, heart rate, heart cover, or congenital problems. The heart itself is a muscle consisting of four chambers. That is, the first two rooms are located at the top, the atrium (foyer) to the left and right. Then the other two rooms are at the bottom, namely the right and left ventricles. To provide information on how to diagnose the type of disease and how to control heart disease, an application of an expert system that can represent someone who is an expert in their field is needed to provide solutions to this disease problem using the Case-Based Reasoning method with the Sorensen Coeffient approach. The result of this research is the creation of an expert system for diagnosing heart disease using the Case-Based Reasoning method with the Sorensen Coeffient approach which is able to provide solutions to heart disease.Keywords:CBR, Expert system, Heart Disease, Method Sorensen Coeffient.

Abstract

Toko Bella Frame ART merupakan toko usaha yang bergerak di bidang penjualan lukisan, kaligrafi dan bingkai, hingga saat ini metode promosi masih menggunakan brosur, poster dan pamflet, sehingga pemilik toko memerlukan biaya yang tidak sedikit untuk menyampaikan informasi ketarget pasar secara luas. Penyimpanan hasil feedback, atau pesan dari pelanggan juga dibutuhkan, agar membantu pihak toko dalam melakukan pengambilan keputusan dalam pemasaran produk dan pelayanan pelanggan untuk kedepannya. Dengan penerapan CRM pada sistem informasi pemasaran berbasis website pada Toko Bella Frame ART maka penyimpanan data dapat tersimpan rapih dan terperinci, dan penyampaian informasi produk ke pelanggan dapat dilakukan dengan lebih mudah dan lebih cepat, serta diharapkan dapat membantu pihak toko dalam melakukan pengambilan keputusan dalam pemasaran produk dan pelayanan pelanggan untuk kedepannya. Dalam penelitian ini penulis menggunakan metode pengembangan aplikasi yaitu metode waterfall dan agile. Sistem informasi berbasis web dengan metode Customer Relationship Management (CRM) yang diusulkan telah memenuhi kebutuhan dan mempunyai keunggulan yaitu terintegrasi dengan sistem yang bekaitan dengan sistem informasi pemasaran. Serta dengan menggunakan metode waterfall dapat membantu penulis dalam pengembangan aplikasi tahap pertama karena testing dilakukan setelah aplikasi sudah dapat dijalankan sedangkan metode agile digunakan pada tahap berikutnya sehingga dapat menutup kekurangan pada pengembangan aplikasi tahap pertama yaitu permintaan kebutuhan yang berubah ubah sehingga aplikasi dapat terus dikembangkan walaupun permintaan kebutuhan berubah-ubah dan pengujian aplikasi dapat terus dilakukan setiap saat sehingga error atau bug dapat lebih mudah ditemukan.Kata Kunci:Sistem Informasi, Customer Relationship Management, Website, Waterfall, Agile.

Abstract

In the era of big data, the biometric identification process is growing very fast and is increasingly being implemented in many applications. Face recognition technology utilizes artificial intelligence (AI) to recognize faces that are already stored in the database. In this research, it is proposed to design an online academic login system at the National University using real time face recognition used OpenCV with the Local Binary Pattern Histogram algorithm and the Haar Cassade Classification method. The system will detect, recognize and compare faces with the stored face database. The image used is 480 x 680 pixels with a .jpg extension in the form of an RGB image which will be converted into a Grayscale image., to make it easier to calculate the histogram value of each face that will be recognized. Abstract

Sistem penyampaian informasi pendidikan di sekolah MA Alwutsqo ini masih dilakukan seperti biasa walaupun wabah pandemic di Indonesia masih belum usai. Karena pihak sekolah tidak memiliki sistem untuk mendukung pembelajaran jarak jauh. Dengan menerapkan protocol kesehatan dan pengurangan jam belajar mengajar sering kali siswa tidak mendaptkan pemahamaan dari materi yang disampaikan oleh guru. Learning Management System (LMS) menajdi salah satu sistem yang dibutuhkan pihak sekolah. Oleh karena itu penulis merancang sistem aplikasi E-learning berbasis website dengan tujuan untuk membantu proses belajar dan mengajar di MA Alwutsqo Kota Depok. Perancangan sistem informasi ini mengunakan Waterfall dan pengembangan sistem yang dilakukan menggunakan metode Agile. Hasilnya siswa dapat mendownload materi-materi yang telah disampaikan dan dapat mengerjakan latihan yang diberikan oleh guru tanpa dibatasi oleh ruang dan waktu.E-learning, Webite, Metode Waterfall, Metode Agile, Learning Management System (LMS).
