Abstract

Dari sudut pandang praktisi perfilman di Indonesia, film komedi dipercaya dapat menghasilkan keuntungan yang besar dan meminimalisir biaya produksi film. Pendekatan cerita komedi dapat dibagi dalam lima kategori utama yaitu, slapstick, deadpan, verbal comedy, screwball, dan black/dark comedy. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengklasifikasikan film komedi Indonesia pada tahun 1951-2013 menurut kategori tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis isi kuantitatif untuk mengkategorikan genre film per-era. Analisis terfokus pada unsur naratif dari sinopsis masing-masing film untuk melihat kategorisasi tema utama dalam keseluruhan film komedi Indonesia. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa jenis film verbal comedy merupakan kategori film komedi yang paling diproduksi di Indonesia, yaitu mencapai 241 judul film. Puncak kemunculannya terjadi antara tahun 1970-1979 dengan jumlah 71 judul film. Meskipun trennya mulai menurun sejak itu, verbal comedy tetap menjadi salah satu kategori film komedi yang mendominasi di setiap era perkembangan industri film Indonesia.

Abstract

AbstrakDi era globalisasi, televisi adalah sumber kekuatan yang menyediakan gambar, bahasa dan simbol, di mana khalayak dapat melihat kembali bagaimana media membangun identitas mereka. Seiring dengan perkembangan teknologi, saat ini di Indonesia banyak bermunculan TV berlangganan dengan sangat pesat. Dan drama seri Korea mendapat sambutan hangat dari peminat-peminatnya. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan peningkatan drama Korea yang ditayangkan baik di stasiun televisi swasta maupun di televisi berlangganan. Pendekatan analisis resepsi digunakan karena pada dasarnya audiens aktif meresepsi teks dan tidak  terlepas dari pandangan moralnya, baik pada tahap mengamati, menginterpretasi atau dalam membuat kesimpulan. Dari hasil penelitian, ditemukan bahwa bagaimana responden menggunakan hasil menonton untuk membangun identitas dirinya. Aktivitas menonton drama seri Korea digunakan sebagai salah satu upaya eksplorasi (exploration) yaitu usaha mencari informasi dan pemahaman yang mendalam. Secara spesifik responden menggunakan hasil dari aktivitas menonton tersebut sebagai salah satu cara untuk menggali informasi dan penemuan hal-hal baru yang dapat menjadi referensi mereka dalam membangun identitas diri.

Abstract

Not a few people who have a deep interest in a cultural product such as music, then identify themselves as a fan. This reality is one of the popular culture products which is quite popular with a group of JKT 48 fans. This study uses a case study method with the aim of analyzing the social construction of marketing of the JKT48 fandom group in the context of the cultural industry context. The results show that the social construction of fandom is formed on the same interest in a cultural form. The presence of JKT48 in the study of pop music culture gives a new color in forming a subculture about the concept of how to become a fan as well as a consumer of popular culture. This relates to the marketing of culture as a form of the cultural industry as a contribution to cultural production.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyse the abundance of Malaysian television broadcasts’ impact on building Indonesian society’s national identity on Sebatik Island. The residents of this island have been watching Malaysian television for a long time as the primary source of communication in their daily lives. In this context, the interaction between the community and television is manifested through interpreting images and meanings. Furthermore, it becomes the basis for the building process of the community’s national identity. This was a case study with observation and focus group discussion as the method of data collection. The results showed that Malaysian television conveys the meaning and values of its nationality to the Indonesian people. This manifests a high tendency among the Sebatik residents towards Malaysia, which is considered an ideal reference of life.

Abstract

In the current era of democracy, the government is required to be more open as a public agency. Through the mass media in print and electronic form, information is intensively presented in a variety of attractive program packages. Seeing the enormous influence of the media, especially television, both government and private institutions, took the initiative to produce and broadcast news programs through institutional television stations, one of which was Parliament's TVR. The purpose of this study is to analyze the management and product strategy of the Warta Parliament program. This study uses a post-positivist paradigm and in-depth interview data collection techniques. Informants in this study were the Parliamentary TVR Team, including the Head of the Parliamentary TVR Division, the Head of the Parliamentary TVR Sub-Section, the Daily News Coordinator, and the Manuscript Editor. The results of this study show that the management and strategy of broadcasting parliamentary news is prioritized on the DPR Network (the Parliamentary TV network located in the DPR) and streaming via the website dpr.go.id and DPR now and in collaboration with TVRI, private stations (Metro TV, TVOne). , Net TV, Trans TV, Trans 7, Indosiar, RTV) to expand the reach so that people can watch Parliament TV. The Angle Selection Strategy is prioritized more on the formation of a positive image of the DPR related to the functions of the DPR, such as the Legislative Oversight Function and the Budgeting Function. The Parliamentary News Packaging Strategy is made in a 2-minute news package including Bumper, VO, sound bites from speakers including Closing
