Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penegakan keadilan prosedural dan substantif dalam peradilan sengketa pemilihan kepala daerah serentak tahun 2017 oleh Mahkamah Konstitusi (MK) Republik Indonesia. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan metode analisis isi. Hasil analisis menunjukkan, pertama, MK sepenuhnya konsisten untuk menjadikan pasal mengenai tenggat waktu pengajuan permohonan dan kedudukan hukum pemohon sebagai batu uji mengenai dapat diterima atau tidaknya sebuah permohonan dalam perkara sengketa pilkada 2017. Hal itu sebagai dampak dari diadopsinya proses dismissal (dismissal process). Kedua, penegakan keadilan prosedural dalam peradilan sengketa pilkada oleh MK tidak secara serta merta in line dengan perwujudan keadilan elektoral yang bersifat substantif. Ada kecenderungan bahwa putusan dismissal yang dilakukan oleh MK cenderung mengabaikan keadilan substantif. Ada dua hal yang potensial membuat prosedur beracara tidak dapat mewujudkan keadilan substantif dalam proses peradilan sengketa Pilkada di MK, yaitu; 1) tenggat waktu yang menyimpang asas nunc pro tunc dan 2) ambang persentase selisih hasil suara dalam sengketa pilkada, yaitu tidak lebih dari 0,5%, 1%, 1,5% atau 2%.--------------------------------------------------------The performance of the Constitutional Court in realizing electoral justice in simultaneous regional elections in 2017This article aims to describe the enforcement of procedural and substantive justice in the 2017 regional head election dispute court by the Republic of Indonesia Constitutional Court (MK). The approach used is qualitative with the content analysis method. The results of the analysis show, first, the Court is fully consistent in making the article regarding the deadline for submitting applications and legal status of the applicant as a test stone regarding whether or not an application can be accepted in a 2017 election dispute case. It is as a result of the dismissal process. Second, the enforcement of procedural justice in the election dispute court by the Constitutional Court is not necessarily in line with the realization of substantive electoral justice. There is a tendency that the decision dismissal carried out by the Constitutional Court tends to ignore substantive justice. There are two things that have the potential to make the procedure of proceedings unable to realize substantive justice in the Pilkada dispute trial process in the Constitutional Court, namely; 1) deadlines that deviate the principle of nunc pro tunc and 2) the threshold of the percentage of the difference in vote results in the election dispute, which is not more than 0.5%, 1%, 1.5% or 2%.

Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengurai beberapa landasan mengenai pendidikan kewarganegaraan dalam perspektif sosio-kultural konteks pendidikan non-formal. Penelitian ini berangkat dari asumsi bahwa pendidikan kewarganegaraan tidak cukup hanya diajarkan di dalam kelas dan sekolah saja. Artinya, diperlukan upaya lain yang tidak kalah pentingnya, yakni di dalam kehidupan masyarakat. Artikel ini menguraikan landasan filosofis penyelenggaraan pendidikan kewarganegaraan dalam domain non-formal. Dikaji juga dari perspektif yuridis formal dalam perundang-undangan di Indonesia, dan bagaimana secara sosiologis urgensi pendidikan kewarganegaraan di masyarakat.Kata kunci: pendidikan kewarganegaraan kemasyarakatan, domain sosio-kultural pendidikan kewarganegaraan, pendidikan kewarganegaraan non-formal

Abstract

Pancasila education has been a part of general education which plays an important role in transferring and nurturing values that are in line with the nation's personality. This study aims to describe the implementation of Pancasila Education through field work learning model by looking at the practice of Pancasila values in the real community life in Pancasila Village, Bantul Regency. This research is a descriptive qualitative study through a case study in Pancasila Village. The subjects of the study were the first semester students of Communication Science department at one of the state universities in Yogyakarta who are taking the Pancasila Education course. Purposive sampling technique was used in this study. The data in this study were collected through interview, observation, and documentation, while the data analysis was done through qualitative descriptive techniques. The findings showed that the students gained a great deal of meaningful experiences from the field work learning model through direct observation of the Pancasila values implementation in the community. Another important finding is that the students can identify the implementation of the values of the Pancasila, either the first, second, third, fourth, or fifth precepts in Pancasila Village.

Abstract

The Eradiration of corruption through educational approach by reason that the anti-corruption movement in Indonesia is not maximized. Learning the values of anti-corruption in schools using instructional media video with the scientific approach is expected to grow passion to learn and give rise to the same perception of the dangers of corruption, anti-corruption values are instilled and changes in students' anti-corruption attitudes. This study used a quasi-experimental method possible to see the extent of the effect of the use of video media with a scientific approach to anti-corruption attitudes of students. The results showed there were differences in the anti-corruption attitudes among students in the experimental class that uses the medium of video with grade control with conventional learning on learning Citizenship Education.

Abstract

Pelaksanaan pembelajaran Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan (PKn) yang dilaksanakan dari pendidikan sekolah dasar hingga pendidikan tinggi masih diperlukan upaya perbaikan hingga saat ini, karena permasalahan karakter pada generasi muda semakin lama justru semakin kompleks., diperlukan masukan dari hasil analisis untuk memberikan solusi dari permasalahan tersebut. Tujuan dari penulisan artikel ini adalah untuk menganalisis dinamika pelaksanaan pembelajaran PKn di usia negara kita tercinta yang ke 75 tahun. Metode yang digunakan dalam artikel ini adalah studi pustaka, dengan cara menganalisis kajian tentang pendidikan kewarganegaraan kemudian ditarik kesimpulan. Hasil dari artikel ini adalah bahwa upaya perbaikan kualitas pembelajaran PKn masih sangat perlu untuk dilakukan kajian. Salah satu rekomendasi perbaikan adalah pertama, memberikan keteladanan pada siswa baik keteladanan di sekolah oleh guru maupun keteladanan oleh orang tua di lingkungan keluarga. Kedua, meningkatkan kreativitas guru dalam pembelajaran mulai dari inovasi pembelajaran dengan menerapkan model, metode dan media pembelajaran yang bervariasi. Ketiga, meningkatkan kelembagaan baik organisasi guru seperti MGMP maupun asosiasi dari perguruan tinggi.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan strategi penguatan nasionalisme yang dilakukan oleh guru Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan (PPKn), faktor pendukung dan faktor penghambat dalam penguatan nilai nasionalisme generasi muda di daerah perbatasan Indonesia. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Subjek penelitian adalah para guru PPKn yang mengikuti program sarjana mendidik di daerah terdepan, terluar, dan tertinggal di wilayah Indonesia. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik wawancara mendalam dan dokumentasi. Data dianalisis dengan teknik analisis induktif. Langkah-langkah analisis data yang dilakukan meliputi: reduksi data, kategorisasi, display data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi penguatan nasionalisme yang dilakukan oleh guru PPKn yakni melalui pendekatan budaya dan psikologis dengan pembiasaan dan keteladanan dalam pembelajaran. Faktor-faktor yang mendukung antara lain kemauan peserta didik yang kuat, sinergi sekolah dan pemerintah, dan kehadiran Tentara Nasional Indonesia. Sementara faktor penghambat antara lain: keterbatasan akses informasi sumber belajar mengenai nasionalisme, letak geografis, dan adat istiadat.The strategy to Strengthen Indonesian Border Nationalism. This study aims to describe the strategy of strengthening nationalism carried out by Pancasila and Citizenship Education (PPKn) teachers, supporting factors and inhibiting factors in strengthening the value of young generation's nationalism in Indonesia's border regions. This research is a descriptive study with a qualitative approach. Research subjects were PPKn teachers who took part in educating undergraduate programs in the foremost, outermost, and disadvantaged regions in the Indonesian region. Data collection uses in-depth interview techniques and documentation. Data were analyzed by inductive analysis techniques. The steps of data analysis include: data reduction, categorization, data display, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that the strategy of strengthening nationalism carried out by PPKn teachers was through cultural and psychological approaches with habituation and exemplary learning. Supporting factors include a strong student will, school and government synergy, and the presence of the Indonesian National Army. While the inhibiting factors include: limited access to information about learning resources about nationalism, geographical location, and local wisdom.

Abstract

Pondok pesantren sebagai lembaga pendidikan dapat dijadikan sebagai sebuah model pengembangan konsep-konsep civics dalam rangka memenuhi life skill warga negara. Sebagian besar aktifitas di pondok pesantren adalah membangun kehidupan santri insan kamil yang mempunyai ketangguhan iman dan kemampuan beramal soleh yang membentuk nilai-nilai perilaku (behavioural values). Pengembangan nilai-nilai perilaku dalam pembentukan individu insan kamil sejalan dengan pengembangan struktur nilai dasar spiritual sebagai pengakuan terhadap martabat manusia (human dignity) yang memunculkan nilai tanggung jawab sosial sebagai bagian dari nilai sosial. Di dalam komunitas pesantren tanggung jawab sosial didasari oleh nilai spiritual yang terkandung dalam konsep ukhuwah islamiah.

Abstract

Tujuan artikel ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi dan mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai kearifan lokal masyarakat dalam memperkuat integrasi nasional melalui pendidikan multikultural. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Nilai-nilai kearifan lokal masyarakat dalam adat pernikahan kelima suku tersebut secara umum terdiri dari nilai ketuhanan, persatuan, dan kerakyatan yang tercermin dalam prosesi sebelum pernikahan, saat pernikahan, dan setelah pernikahan. Dengan demikian, nilai-nilai kearifan lokal masyarakat tersebut pada dasarnya merupakan nilai-nilai yang secara umum terdapat di setiap daerah yang dapat memperkuat integrasi nasional.-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------This article was aimed at identifying and integrating local wisdom values fostering national integration through multicultural education. It was a qualitative research with case study as its method. Local wisdom values embedded in the all of five tribes’ marriage are the believe in God, Humanity, unity, and democracy. In other words, these local wisdom are in common among society members and can enhance national integration.

Abstract

One of the ways to strengthen nationalist character values is through formal education, including in Muhammadiyah schools. The practice needs strengthening in Muhammadiyah schools for deviations in student behavior that do not reflect the values of nationalist character. This article attempts to provide an overview of strengthening the values of nationalist characters through Muhammadiyah school culture. The research method used is qualitative research. The focus of the object in this study is strengthening the value of nationalist character for students in Muhammadiyah schools. The steps of data analysis using data reduction models, data presentation, conclusions. The study results show that there are several school programs to instill the values of nationalist character through school culture, among others, through learning in the classroom and habituation outside the classroom, among others, through extracurricular activities. The supporting factor is that the school establishes with the parties to run the program. The inhibiting factor is that some students are still not optimal in participating in a school program.

Abstract

This article aims to dig deeper into the concept of Indonesian philanthropy in dealing with the pandemic seen from the social base of the Indonesian people. This study uses a qualitative approach with the grounded theory method. This research results show a collective awareness of Durkheim's understanding that characterizes mechanical solidarity; in the case of philanthropy in Indonesia, it is at the intersection of mechanical and organic solidarity. The strengthening of generosity can be explained from the theory of social facts that there are non-material social facts that shape the spirit of the Indonesian people's philanthropic movement, namely generosity and collective awareness that characterize mechanical solidarity in rural areas that occurs in modern society with organic solidarity.
