Abstract

This study is a preliminary investigation to find out teacher and parents’ knowledge of Child Sexual Abuse (CSA), to find out teacher and parents attitudes towards CSA prevention education in school, and to find out what CSA topics that have been taught by teachers and parents with their children in Kendari. The data were collected by using questionnaires with 627 total respondents. The results revealed that the knowledge of teachers and parents’ CSA in Kendari is of average level. 59,6% of teacher and parents have enough information about CSA. Despite the average knowledge, they have a positive attitude (80.7%) towards CSA prevention education in school. Most of them (54.5%) report that they already implemented CSA prevention education for their children. Majority of teachers and parents (75,28%) admits to have heard about cases of CSA in Kendari. Most of them obtained information from TV/electronic media (44,54%), stories being passed around the neighborhood (19,33%), and from the other sources: newspapers, closed family, relatives, and children’s school. One of the sexual abuse cases which has been widely circulated among the respondents is a stepfather or a teacher who allegedly sexually harasses his child, and majority of people have committed CSA are from close family, such as: stepfather, teacher, neighbor, family friends, uncle, grandfather, or parent’s grocery subscription. Abstract

Media dalam proses pembelajaran dapat mempertinggi proses belajar peser ta didik dalam pembelajaran yang diharapkan dapat mempertinggi hasil belajar yang dicapai peserta didik. Penggunaan media dalam pembelajaran terhadap proses dan hasil belajar pada peserta didik menunjukkan perbedaan antara pembelajaran tanpa media dengan pembelajaran menggunakan media, oleh karena itu penggunaan media pembelajaran sangat penting untuk mempertinggi kualitas pembelajaran. Lingkungan belajar yang diatur oleh guru mencakup tujuan pembelajaran, bahan pembelajaran, metodologi pembelajaran, dan penilaian pembelajaran. Secara khusus terkait dengan metodologi pembelajaran, aspek ini terkait dengan dua hal yang saling menonjol yaitu metode dan media pembelajaran. Media memiliki kedudukan yang sangat penting dalam mencapai tujuan pembelajaran secara efektif. Guru PAUD sebagai tenaga pendidik profesional yang berperan sebagai fasilitator dalam pembelajaran dituntut kreatvitasnya untuk menggali potensi sumber dan media pembelajaran yang ada dilingkungannya agar dapat membelajarkan anak didiknya secara berkualitas. Agar dapat jadi fasilitator yang baik guru PAUD diharapkan dapat membekali diri dengan wawasan dan keterampilan pembuatan media pembelajaran sehingga guru dapat menjalankan perannya dengan baik. Kenyataan bahwa guru PAUD Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal 1 Kota Kendari pada umumnya mengalami kesulitan dalam meningkatkan kualitas dan efektifitas pembelajaran di PAUD masing-masing. Keadaan ini disebabkan kurangnya sarana dan prasarana yang dapat menunjang keaktifan dan motifasi peserta didik dalam proses pembelajaran. Itulah sebabkan kegiatan pelatihan pembuatan media pembelajaran akan dilakukan. Hal ini nantinya diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kreativitas dan keterampilan guru-guru dalam membuat media pempelajaran.

Abstract

The numbers of golput increasing in Indonesia each election after reform, it became a threat to the democratic process of this nation. Recorded in 2004, the number of golput increased to 23% from the previous election period and it’s number increased again to 39% in 2009. The voters more apathetic and do not care again about the fate of their country, so it was supposed to be a concern, especially for young voters as the next generation of the democratic process. This study focused on the factors that influence voting behavior, especially the influence of the authoritarian personality and the influence of a reference group for young voters. Voting behavior equated with purchasing behavior, so that voters are seen as political consumers. This study was designed to quantitatively, the data were analyzed using path analysis because the independent variables affect the dependent variable directly and indirectly. The results showed that the authoritarian personality directly by 0,365 ( β = 0.365 , p <0.05 ) influence voting behavior for young voters. Reference group has no direct influence on the voting behavior for young voters, but it indirectly through the authoritarian personality affect voting behavior for young voters. Reference group that directly influence young voter’s authoritarian personality is the parent ( β = 0.128 , p <0.05 ) and peers ( β = - .198 , p <0.05 ).
