Abstract

Purpose of this research is to produce Social Studies Learning Evaluation Media “MAPS”. This media is designed with a web browser-based learning game for junior high school students, testing their feasibility and practicality. This study adopts seven stages of research and development by Borg and Gall: (1) Analysis of potentials and problems, (2) data collection, (3) product design, (4) design validation, (5) design revisions, (6) product trials, (7) final product revisions. The subjects of this study are social studies teacher and 31 students VII.6 students of State Junior High School 23 Malang with data collection instruments in the form of questionnaires. The feasibility test results that have been conducted, show an average score of 3.71 for material validation, 3.5 for validation of IPS learning evaluation, and 3.87 for media validation. Based on the average value, social studies learning evaluation media "MAPS" is declared "Very Feasible" to use. The media practicality test was conducted based on the response of the test subject. Practicality test results showed a percentage of 97.5% for teacher response results and 87.66% for student response results. Based on the percentage of user response, social studies learning evaluation media "MAPS" can be declared "Very Practical" to use.

Abstract

Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) is one of the fields whose presence can help the regional or national economy. SMEs also have an influence on the absorption of labor. This paper aims to to develop a sign system as a visual communication in the Tasik Madu area. This service is carried out through several stages, Pre-Activity, Implementation of Activities and Post-Activities. Pre-activities are carried out by starting a survey of the location where the sign system will be installed, after finding the location for the installation of road signs, the next thing to do is to design a road sign design and place an order for a sign system. Then, there is the implementation of activities whose activities include the installation of a sign system at a predetermined location. This activity was carried out by students, lecturers as well as representatives of local environmental officials. The last stage is post-activity whose activities include closing and compiling community service reports. The development of the sign system is expected to be a visual communication so that it is easier for visitors to find the location of each woven craftsman in Tasik Madu.

Abstract

 Perkembangan abad 21 memberikan tuntutan dan tantangan pada pencapaian kompetensi siswa. Pencapaian tujuan kompetensi generasi abad 21 diterapkan dalam kurikulum 2013 berbasis Teknologi Informasi (TI). Perkembangan TI yang pesat memberikan dorongan terhadap kebutuhan media pembelajaran yang inovatif. Keterampilan guru dalam penggunaan TI akan memberikan pengaruh besar dalam proses pembelajaran digital di sekolah. Permasalahan yang saat ini sering terjadi tidak semua guru mampu mengoperasikan media digital dengan baik. Salah satu sekolah yang mengalami kesulitan dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran daring (jarak jauh) yaitu SMP Negeri 1 Pakis Kabupaten Malang. Sebagian besar guru disini merupakan guru sepuh yang mengalami kesulitan karena faktor usia. Metode pelaksanaan dalam pengabdian ini yaitu persiapan (analisis situasi dan kebutuhan), pelaksanaan dan evaluasi program. Peserta mendapatkan modul pelatihan untuk memudahkan dalam praktikum. Adapun indikator keberhasilan kegiatan ini dilihat dari respon positif peserta melalui evaluasi yang diberikan. Evaluasi kegiatan juga dilakukan dengan menggunakan kuesioner yang diisi oleh peserta.Kata kunci: Teknologi informasi, Inovasi pembelajaran, Media pembelajaran

Abstract

MSMEs have proven to be part of the national economic backbone and have survived the economic crisis that has occurred in Indonesia. However, MSMEs are required to continue to innovate in their business strategies in the rapid disruption of business. The purpose of this study is to explore the role of m-commerce in MSMEs' business innovation strategies. By a qualitative descriptive approach, this study conducted at the Tempe Chips Center in Sanan in Malang as a case study. This study used primary (informants) and secondary (works of literature) data as sources of data and collected by using observation, interview, and documentation and used purposive sampling in determining the informants. Triangulation tests carried out in order to check data from various sources in various ways and times. This study found that the use of social media and the marketplace as one of MSMEs' business strategies in marketing products is still less than optimal. Although almost all MSMEs businesses use the Whatsapp application in their business transaction processes, only a few are expanding the market through other media. In general, MSMEs are familiar with social media and the marketplace, but few of them can optimize it in marketing their products. Keywords: m-commerce, business strategy, business innovation, MSMEs

Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan artikel ini untuk mendeskripsikan upaya dalam membangun kolegialitas calon guru IPS melalui Lesson Study. LS dapat membantu calon guru IPS dalam mencapai tujuan pembelajaran melalui kolegialitas. Hal ini sangat dimungkinkan mengingat dalam setiap tahapan LS mulai dari plan, do, sampai see selalu dilakukan secara kolaboratif antara peserta KPL (kajian & praktek Lapangan) dan dosen pendamping lapangan sehingga terjadi komunikasi intensif. Perencanaan yang dilakukan secara kolaboratif dapat menjadi modal utama untuk mewujudkan pembelajaran yang lebih efektif. Selain itu dengan penerapan LS ini terjalin mutual learning, dimana peserta LS memiliki niat yang sama untuk menciptakan komunitas belajar. Kata-kata Kunci: Kolegialitas, Calon Guru IPS, Lesson Study.Abstract: this study tends to describe the effort in shaping collegiality between the prospective social studies teacher based on lesson study (LS). LS could help the prospective teacher to gain the learning outcomes through collegiality. This might be happened when the apprenticed student and the supervisor designs the plan, the do, and the see collaboratively. Therefore, the condition creates an intensive communication. The collaborative plan could be a main basis to create the effective teaching. Abstract

Abstrak: Kehadiran teknologi informasi dan komunikasi selama ini telah membawa perubahan bagi masyarakat. Hal itu membawa konsekuensi berupa masalah digital divide bagi negara-negara berkembang seperti Indonesia. Selama ini peran perempuan dalam perkembangan teknologi informasi masih belum banyak jika dibandingkan dengan laki-laki. Ada beberapa faktor yang menyebabkan digital divide kaum perempuan yaitu tingkat ketrampilan dan pendidi-kan, masalah bahasa, keterbatasan waktu, adanya stereotipe seksi yang disematkan pada per-empuan sehingga mudah dilecehkan, dan norma budaya serta sosial yang berkembang. Meng-ingat pentingnya masalah ini, sudah saatnya untuk melakukan tindakan guna memastikan bahwa perempuan di Indonesia dapat mengaktifkan dirinya di era informasi. Adapun upaya untuk mem-persempit digital divide pada perempuan diantaranya literasi informasi, menghilangkan diskrimi-nasi gender, membangun kebijakan dan budaya gender yang transformative, dan meningkatkan skill dan kompetensi dengan Bimtek TIK.Kata kunci: teknologi komunikasi dan informasi, digital divide, perempuan IndonesiaAbstract: Information dan communication technology has bought changes in our society. Along with its development, many concequences occur in developing countries as well as Indonesia. Women role in the development of information and communication technology is lesser than men. There are many factor causing the digital divide of Indonesian women i.e. skill and education level, language problem, lack of time, sexist stereotype, social and cultural norms. Considering to this issue, it is important to take action to ensure women in Indonesia to be more active and involve in the development of information and communication technology. There are many ways to decrease the digital divide of Indonesian women i.e. information literacy, eliminating gender discrimination, transformative and gender responsive policy, increasing women skill and com-petency trough education and training.Key words: Information dan communication technology, digital devide, Indonesian women.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the project-based learning social studies consumer perceptions of student character. Consumer perception of the character of this research is focused on the consumption of environmentally sound because it was found that the students are less concerned about the environment, especially the cleanliness class. This type of research including quasi experimental, aimed at assessing the effect of an action learning on students' perceptions before and after treatment. Subjects were students of 2015 batch S1 IPS which follows the introductory economics course. The instrument used to measure the consumption of environmentally sound perception using a questionnaire with Likert scale. Based on the homogeneity test the cognitive abilities of students conclusion has a homogeneous character and definitive experimental group and the control is done randomly. This study analyzed SPSS 22.0 for Windows using independent sample T-test. Results of the analysis showed that there were significant differences between the control and experimental class class. Therefore, it can be concluded that the application of project-based learning IPS effect on consumer perceptions of character. In project-based learning allows students trying to construct their own knowledge and actively involved in seeking information so it is expected that students are able to connect theory gained with the existing reality in the environment.Keywords: Project Based Learning, Perception Character consumption http://dx.doi.org/10.17977/um022v1i12016p065

Abstract

Madurese is an ethnic group that we encounter in many cities. This ethnicity is usually attached to the image of the merchant. Besides this image, Madura also attaches to the image of newcomers. How this ethnic group became very attached to the merchant's identity indeed cannot be separated from the role of parents. The family environment is very instrumental in directing or learning children. The purpose of this research is to find out how to internalize these ethnic entrepreneurial values—this research designed using a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques are done through observation and in-depth interviews. Interview techniques are used to reveal how to internalize the value of entrepreneurship towards families, especially children. The research findings show that in some ethnic Madurese, there is no internalization process of entrepreneurial values in their families, but in other parts, this process occurs. Furthermore, the findings in the field show that the experience of parents influences the internalization process. The process of internalizing entrepreneurial values did by modeling or giving examples by parents, involvement, and habituation of parents' activities to children. Involvement did and verbally begins by inviting children to help with the work of parents. Most entrepreneurs tend to learn from the experience of joining parents or family. The values adopted by children in this ethnicity are self-confidence, high work ethic.DOI: 10.17977/um022v5i12020p001

Abstract

Kesejahteraan masyarakat merupakan cita-cita bangsa yang juga termaktub secara jelas dan tersurat dalam pembukaan undang-undang dasar 1945. Sejatinya untuk mencapai kesejahteraan tersebut perlu adanya kerjasama antara pemerintah dan masyarakat. Pemerintah selaku penguasa berperan dalam membuat kebijakan-kebijakan yang bertujuan untuk mensejahterakan rakyatnya. Ironisnya kesenjangan banyak terlihat sebagaimana ditunjukkan oleh Gini ratio pada maret 2014 yang meningkat dari tahun sebelumnya. Konsep ekonomi rakyat menjadi solusi dari pemikiran Bung Hatta, yakni dimana semua ekonomi yang dapat diterapkan dengan prinsip dari, oleh, dan untuk rakyat. Selaras dengan pemikiran ini lahirlah koperasi. Penelitian ini akan mendiskusikan bagaimana peran koperasi bagi penambang minyak tradisional di desa Wonocolo. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. koperasi sebagai suatu badan yang diberikan kepercayaan oleh pemerintah sebagai wadah dalam pengelolaan sumur tua sehingga SDA dapat memberikan manfaat dan penerimaan yang maksimal bagi Negara untuk sebesar-besar kemakmuran rakyat. Pemberdayaan ekonomi yang dilakukan oleh koperasi sumber pangan melalui fasilitas modal  dan sebagai wadah bagi masyarakat sekitar lokasi sumur tua untuk dapat memanfaatkan sumur tua sebagai sumber pendapatan.DOI: 10.17977/um022v3i22018p081
