Abstract

Abstract : Science learning in class III SDN 005 Rantau Panjang Kiri is low an average grade 63,96 this is caused by the learning is done by texs oriented book, wearing a lecture (conventional) and exercises with student involvement was minimal and many students are passive while learning. This research aims to improve learning outcomes 005 Grade III SDN Rantau Panjang Kiri Academic Year 2014/2015 through "Application of Cooperative Learning Model Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS)". This research was conducted in March 2015. The subjects were 005 third grade students of SDN Rantau Panjang Kiri numbering 24 people, consisting of 13 men and 11 women. This study was conducted in two cycles. Data collection instruments in this research is to test daily tests, observation of student activity sheets and sheets of observations of teacher activity. The average value of student learning outcomes has increased which before action 63.96, an increase in UH I became 77.50 and increased again at UH II became 86.67. Improvement of basic scores first cycle to 13.54 with the percentage of 21.17% enhacement and improvement of basic Scores Cycle II amounted to 22.71 with the percentage increase of 35.50%. Mastery learning students are also experiencing increasing 45.83% where as before action with incomplete categories increased in the first cycle of 75.00% with no complete category increased again in the second cycle of 91.67% with a complete category. The activities of teachers and students during the learning process also increased. Activity Cycle I teachers with an average of 70.00% categorized Enough, increased in the second cycle with an average of 85.00% categorized as good. Activity of students in the first cycle an average of 72.50% with enough categories increased in the second cycle average of 87.50% with the good category. it can be concluded that with the implementation of cooperative learning model type Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) can improve learning outcomes IPA Class III SDN 005 Rantau Panjang Kiri Kubu Babussalam Districts Rokan Hilir Regency. Abstract

Abstract : The problem in this research is the low student learning outcomes. It was seen from the percentage of test scores of students who reach KKM (Complete Minimum Criteria) in class V Elementary School 005 Rantau Panjang Kiri is 44.00% of the 25 students with an average value was 68.00. The school is defined KKM 70. This research aims to improve science learning outcomes of students through learning model Problem Based on Elementary School fifth grade students Rantau Panjang 005 Left school year 2014/2015. The research was conducted in April 2015 the number of 25 students, 12 male students and 13 female students number of design research is classroom action research parameter measured is the result of the activity of the teacher and student learning activities of students. Based on the results of data analysis from the discussion of the value of the average scores of students before the application of the basic learning model based problem is 68.00, then rose to 74.40 in the first cycle and increased return on the second cycle into 81.40. So the percentage increase in base score improvement of 9.41% for the first cycle and the percentage increase in base score the second cycle to 19.70%. Mastery learning students in the first cycle showed that 80.00% reaching KKM predetermined by category classical completeness is not completed and the second cycle increased to 92.00% with the category of classical completeness completed. Results of the first cycle of observation at the first meeting showed the activity of teachers (62.50%) and at the second meeting (72.50%). In Cycle II observation of teacher activity increased in the first meeting (77.50%) and the second meeting (85.00%). For the first cycle of student activity at the first meeting (65.00%) and at the second meeting (72.50%). Student activity at the first meeting of the second cycle (80.00%) increased in the second meeting (85.00%). Based on the conclusion that the application of learning models based problems can increase student learning outcomes Class V SDN 005 Rantau Panjang Kiri acceptable. Abstract

AbstractThe problem studied in this research is low skills of students in making a collage of natural materials in teaching Arts and Skills. The purpose of this research is to improve the skills of making a collage of natural materials in class III SDN 138 Pekanbaru with the adoption of the drill. This research is a class action consisting of 2 cycles. Based on the assessment skills Intial seen from the data, the average was 54.23 students in the class. After the implementation of the method of cyclus first drill, the average score of students increased to 63.11 and the second cyclus, the average score of students increased to 82.4. Based on the analysis of the above data it can be concluded that the application of the method can improve the skill drill to make a collage of natural materials in class III SDN 138 Pekanbaru.

Abstract

Tulisan ini mengkaji tentang pendidikan karakter. Pendidikan karakter perlu dikuatkan oleh pihak terkait, yaitu : Keluarga, instansi pemerintah dan masyarakat. Tanpa adanya pendidikan karakter akan menurunnya kualitas moral generasi muda Indonesia, seperti yang kita lihat di media cetak dan elektronik yang menampilkan moral karakter siswa-siswi kita yang sangat bobrok. Di stasiun televisi ditayangkan tindakan menyontek saat ujian, minum-minuman keras, merokok, narkoba, pergaulan dan seks bebas, tawuran antar pelajar, peredaran video porno di kalangan pelajar serta tindakan kriminal dan aksi brutal lainnya menuntut diselenggarakannya penguatan pendidikan karakter. Salah satu pendekatan pendidikan karakter yang dapat digunakan adalah pendekatan pengembangan rasional, pertimbangan, klarifikasi nilai, pengembangan moral kognitif, perilaku sosial, dan penanaman nilai. Pihak terkait dituntut untuk memainkan peran dan tanggungjawabnya untuk menanamkan dan mengembangkan nilai-nilai yang baik dan membantu anak membentuk dan membangun karakter mereka dengan nilai-nilai yang baik. Pendidikan karakter diarahkan untuk memberikan tekanan pada nilai-nilai tertentu –seperti rasa hormat, tanggungjawab, jujur, peduli, dan adil– dan membantu anak untuk memahami, memperhatikan, dan melakukan nilai-nilai tersebut dalam kehidupan mereka sendiri. penguatan pendidikan karakter menjadi salah satu solusi untuk mengurangi merosotnya moral bangsa yang terjadi pada saat ini.

Abstract

Abstract: The problem is undelined by the low of the result of science study in IPA learning. This is caused by the lack of the teacher’s knowledge toward IPA learning concept, teacher is still using speech method in teaching and learning process. The students are rerely given opportunity in searching and improving of the thinking ability to build knowledge and experience of learning. To solve the problem, Discovery Learning Model can improve the result of science study on the fifth grade students of SD Negeri 003 Lubuk Ogong. The subject of the research is the fifth grade students of SD Negeri 003 Lubuk Ogong of year academic of 2014/2015, with 26 students. This research used Class Action Research Method design which is done twice cycles. Each cycle is applied in twice with once of examination at the end of the cycle that aimed to improve the result of science learning of the fifth grade students of SD Negeri 003 Lubuk Ogong on the Sifat-sifat Cahaya subject. The result of result shows that the implied of the Discovery Learning Design can improve the science study of the fifth grade students of SD Negeri 003 Lubuk Ogong. The basic score is 49,80, then on the cycle I it increases to 69,04 from the basic score, and increases to 78,85 then cycle I in cycle II. The explaination above can be cancluded that aplication of Discovery Learning Model can improve the result of science study of fifth grade of SD Negeri 003 Lubuk Ogong Kecamatan Bandar Seikijang Kabupaten Pelalawan.Key words: Discovery Learning, the result of science study learning

Abstract

Abstract: This research was motivated by the percentage of students who achieve KKM 75 at mid even semester of the year 2014 to 2015 is even lower. From 29 students only 14 (48.27%) of students who reached KKM and 15 (51.72%) students who have not reached KKM with an average of 68.97. This is because teacher rarely used learning models during the learning process in the classroom, the teacher seldom used the teaching tools ,the teacher was more active than students. From these problems need to be done to implement the action research learning based the students’ problem. Where the research was in SD Negeri 25 Pekanbaru with research subjects were students of class IV and as many as 29 students, male students and 17 female students 12 people. This study was carried in 2 cycles. Instrument collecting data in this study is the observation sheet teacher activity, student activity observation sheet and test sheet daily tests. Obesrvasi results showed that the activity of teachers and students have increased. The activities of teachers in the first cycle both categories increased 63.64% in the second cycle into 85.25% very good category. Activity of students in the first cycle both categories increased 61.36% in the second cycle into 81.82% very good category. The results showed that the learning outcomes of students has increased, the initial score with an average of 68.97 incomplete categories increased in the first cycle to 78.79 categories is not exhaustive, and the second cycle increased to 87.41% complete category. Mastery learning students’ was on score of 48.27% reaching KKM, in the first cycle showed that 65.51% of students who reached the KKM has been established, on the second cycle increased to 86.23% of students who reached KKM and a predetermined percentage of completeness. From the above shows that through the application of learning mathematics based on students’ problem improved learning outcomes of fourth grade students and 25 elementary school lesson Pekanbaru in year of education 2014-2015.Keywords: Problem Based Learning Model, Mathematics Learning Outcomes

Abstract

Abstract: The background of this research was low study result in mathematics. This might be caused on teaching method. The teachers use speaking method and text book only from the source. The type of Cooperative learning method „think Pair Share” can increase the study result of mathematics on SDN 80 Pekanbaru students of fourth graders. The subject of this research was 36 persons of C fourth graders students of SDN 80 Pekanbaru 2014/2015 . This research has been used by Class Proceed Research that be done by 2 cycles, each cycle has been done in twice of meetings within once final post test. This activity aims to increase the learning result of C class fourth graders of SDN 80 Pekanbaru on mathematics. The result of this research shows that the type of cooperative learning method “think pair share” can increase study result of C fourth graders students of SDN 80 Pekanbaru on mathematics. The initial data is obtained that study result average increases from 68,19 became 76,11 on first daily post test, its show increasing study result from base score to first post test at 11,61%. Furthermore, at second cycle was obtained that study result increase from base score to second cycle post test at 22,20% with base score average was 68,19% increase became 83,33% at second daily post test. According to above explanation can be concluded that cooperative learning method “Think Pair Share” can increase study result of C fourth graders students of SDN 80 Pekanbaru on mathematics.Key words: Cooperative Learning Method Type “Think Pair Share (TPS), Learning Achievement of Mathematics.

Abstract: This research aims to improve the learning process and achievement of school year 2014/2015. Studies students learning outcomes with average grade 57,75. While the value of minimum criteria of completeress is 65. This research is clasroom action research (CAR). Which is to inprove the secience studies achierment of fourth brade elementary school 008 Sungai Segajah Kubu Rokan Hilir District. The formulation of the problem is: Does the application of Inkuri guide can inperave the science studies studen learning outcomes elementary school 008 Sungai Segajah Kubu Rokan Hilir Distric. The incriasing of students achievmert happenet before CAR and there is in cereasing after first cycle about 57,75% in low categori, whereas after CAR on cycle 1 about 65,75% in medium and on cycle 2 about 69,75. In high categori. So that, there is increatif grade of science studies from based score to first cycle is about 13,84% and from based score to secord cycle is about 20,77%. The activity of the teacher is an averase grade on irst cycle about 62,5% in medium categori and the secord cycle is about 83,33% in high category. The activity of the students in second meeting on first cycle is average about 58,33% and the secord cycle is about 79,16%. The result of this research is the application of guiding Inkuiri can increase the secience studies students learning outcomes at fourth brade of elementary school 008 Sungai Segajah Kubu in Rokan Hilir District.Key word : Guiding Inkuiri, The science,s students achievement

Abstract

Abstract: The problems on the background of this research were the low of learning achievement in natural science subject. During the learning process the teachers only use the speech method. The teacher just opened the lesson and directly presented the subject. Then they gaveassignments as training and little motivation for the students. It could be seen from the problems that arisedsuch as the students tend to be passive, and just listened while the teacher explained the lesson. The Students could not solve the problems that they faced in their life. And the Students did not do the assignment that gave by teachers. One of solutions that could improve their learning achievement at grade IV in natural science subjectwas the Implementation of Learning Model studentsbased on problems in order to be applied in their life. The subjects of this research was the fourth grade students of SDN 05 Samsam District of Kandis Regency of Siak, it was 35 students consistied of 20 male students and 15 female students. This research was a classroom action research, it done in two cycles, each cycle conducted twice and once daily test. The purpose of this research was to improve science learning achievement in fourth grade of SDN 05 Samsam District of Kandis Regency of Siak. The main subject of this research was the source thermal energy. The results showed that the application of learning model based on the problem to improve learning achievement of IPA before being applied which Problem Based on Learning Model was 64.71. After being applied Learning Model Based on Problem, In daily test of cycle I the average value of student learning achievement was 70.86, it was an increase. The meeting was continued to the second cycle, and the second cycle of daily test average value of student learning achievement was 82.57. Based on the explanation above could be concluded that the implamentation of learning models based on problems could improve student learning achievement of fourth grade of SDN 05 Samsam District of Kandis Regency of Siak.Keywords : Learning model Based on Problem, to improve student learning achievement of IPA

Abstract

Abstract: The research carried out base on the lowly of the result of mathematic in grade II SD Negeri 8 Pekanbaru which is about 70,7 from 34 students within minimal completeness criterion (KKM) stated is 75. This research is classroom action research (CAR). The purpose of this research is to improve mathematic learning process of class II SD Negeri 8 Pekanbaru in academic year 2014/2015 through Quantum Teaching. The research was conducted into 2 cycles. Each cycle consist of two meeting and one test. The instrument used in this study is the teacher and student’s activity sheet as well as learning about the test result. This study presents an increase of average teacher’s activity in the first cycle in first meeting is 67,3%, the second meeting increase to 78,8%. The second cycle increase from 82,6% to 96,1%. Student activity based on the result of research on first cycle is from 58,3% in the first meeting to 70,8% in the second meeting. In the second cycle increase from 89.5% in the first meeting to 95,8% in the second meeting. Based on the research of students learning outcome increased from the base score 70,7 to 83,3 in the first cycle and the second cycle increase become 92,7. Based on the result of the research, it can be concluded that the implementation of Quantum Teaching can improve the student’s achievement in mathematic subject of class II SD Negeri 8 Pekanbaru.Key words: Quantum Teaching, Student’s Mathematic Achievement
