Abstract

Hospitals as health facilities that are curative and rehabilitative should be free of pollutants such as particulate matter. One cause of the particulate matter in the hospital is incineration. Hospital incinerators that burn trash in hazardous / infectious, so it is necessary to determine the level of distribution of the particulates produced by burning incinerator. This research is a descriptive study using dispersion method gauss with Screen View program. Parameters that are seen medical waste generation, particulate concentrations, wind direction and wind speed, and distance distribution of particulates. The data obtained are presented in the form of graphs and tables. The highest particulate distribution on the wind direction is north east with the concentration of 2.32 μg / m3 at a distance of 100 m from the incineratorat a distance of 100 m from the incinerator emissions rate 0.00957 g/s, 0.38 stack inside diameter and 9 m stack high.Key word: incinerator, particulate, screen view, wind direction, wind speed.

Abstract

Sultan Syarif Kasim II International Airport Pekanbaru serve domestic and international flights, this airport is also a home base for Squadron 16 and Squadron 12 Roesmin Nurjadin air base. The noise level is affected by flight activity in the airport. The purpose of this research is to determine the intensity of noise at the airport and the surrounding residential area, duration of noise exposure, and mapping of noise spread pattern. Noise measurement method based on KepMenLH No 48 of 1996, and the device used is Sound Level Meter (SLM). Measurement of sound pressure level (Lp) lasted 1 day. Based on the results of data processing of the 5 points of measurement, results showed the level of noise in the airport area is 77.72 to 91.82 dBA . Noise control can be performed by making of noise barriers and using noise-absorbing materials in the construction of houses.Keyword : noise, airport, sultansyarifkasimII

Abstract

Development Area V is the most densely populated area with an area of 32% from Pekanbaru City. Based on BPS (2017), the area Development V 140,96 km2 consists of 3 subdistricts, Tampan District, Marpoyan Damai, and Payung Sekaki. Population growth in this region is influenced by several factors, residential areas, higher education centers, city government office buildings and hospitals (RPJMD Pekanbaru, 2017-2022). The high number of residents in WP V with a variety of population activities will certainly have an effect on the resulting CO2 emissions. This research will be conducted on the calculation of the amount of CO2 emissions with IPCC (1996) method from household activities. The primary carbon emissions related to fuel use. Based on the calculation results, it was found that the primary CO2 emissions from fuel use generated in WP V Kota Pekanbaru is 3.136,1 ton CO2/month. Abstract

The results of the study show that the total amount of CO2 emissions equivalent produced by livestock in Pekanbaru is 36.19 Gg CO2-eq/year, while agriculture sector contributes 72.26 Gg CO2-eq/year. There are, in total, 7,102,134 cattle in Pekanbaru, with the estimation of total methane (CH4) emissions from enteric fermentation of 6,64642 Gg CO2-eq/year, while from manure management is 6.60444 Gg CO2-eq/year. The direct and indirect emissions of nitrous oxide (N2O) are 117,255.74 kg CO2-eq/year, and from the manure management is 110,014.72 kg CO2-eq/year of year 2017. The research concludes the total emissions of green house gas produced by livestock and agriculture sectors as well as a course of mitigation action that can be to reduced by adaptation efforts to deal with climate change in Pekanbaru.Keywords: Green House Gas, Livestock, Agriculture, Methane

Abstract

Indragiri Hilir Regency is a condition of the area which is dominated by salt water, the water quality is very inadequate in terms of quantitative and qualitative hydrology due to swamp environmental conditions. Therefore the need for other alternatives to meet raw water needs by utilizing Rainwater Harvesting technology. In this study conducted the study in Tanah Merah Village, Tanah Merah District, Indragiri Hilir Regency. To find out the large contribution of rainwater harvesting, design designs, and budget plans that are carried out calculation and analysis of data. Supported by the Raincycle Standard v2.0 program based on the falling raindrops (roof's drip) which is the catchment area and water requirements based on the number of family members of each type of house. And the results obtained after the analysis of data for rainwater catchment areas, namely with an area of 208 m², 156 m², and 126 m², the percentage of rainwater donations fulfilled by 3 tanks is 82% with a planned budget of Rp 14,358,000.00 while for the rainwater catchment area, which is 80 m² in size, and 49 m² of the percentage of rainwater donation that is fulfilled by 2 tanks is 72% with a budget plan that is Rp. 10,332,000.00. And in terms of quality parameters that exceed the quality standard, namely detergent, to reduce the levels, namely by filtering with filters from media activated carbon, sand, and silica.   Keywords: Rainwater Harvesting, Indragiri Hilir Regency, Raw Water

Abstract

Climate change is one of the effects of global warming caused by the greenhouse effect by increasing concentration of greenhouse gases. In response to global warming Indonesia goverment is committed to reducing greenhouse gas emissions 26% by its own effort and 41% if it receives international assistance in 2020. One of the industrial sectors that contributes to greenhouse gas emissions in Indonesia is the Palm Oil Mill (POM) . To find out the total of CO2 emissions produced uses method by Intergovermental Panel on Cilmate Change (IPCC). Total emissions from POM PT. Abstract

PT. X in its operational activities has the potential to generate noise coming from palm oil production machines. Workers who are constantly exposed to noise have the potential to affect their health and comfort. The purpose of this research is to know the intensity of noise generated by oil palm production machine, exposure time, mapping of noise distribution pattern, and noise control effort. Meteorological data includes temperature, humidity, wind speed and wind direction. Meteorological data includes temperature, humidity, wind speed and wind direction. From the measurement results of the area temperature 38 0C, while for the ISBB (wet ball temperature index) conditions at the work location must not exceed 26.7 ° C. measurement of air humidity is 80.2%, and for the provision of humidity levels of air humidity in the work environment up to 90% can be tolerated. Abstract

Bagan Kota has a potential to cause noise from swallow breeding. Local communities that are constantly exposed to noise have the potential to affect people's comfort and health. The purpose of this study was to determine the intensity of outcome noise by swallow breeding, mapping of distribution pattern of noise and noise control prevention. The noise measurement method refers to the noise mapping method and the tool used is the Sound Level Meter (SLM). Measurement based on noise mapping method is carried out for 2 days, that is on Sunday and Monday. The results of the study showed that from 113 measurement points, there were 6 points on Sunday which showed numbers that exceeded the quality standard and 23 points on Monday showed a number that exceeded the quality standard. The highest noise level is 79.01 dB where this point is the source of noise and the lowest noise level of 47.96 dB which is quite far from the noise source. Noise mapping uses the Arcgis 10 program to determine the distribution pattern of noise caused by the noise mapping method. Based on the results of Arcgis 10 shown by different colors, namely red, orange, yellow, light green and dark green. Abstract

The green open space is one of an effort in order to handling of the increasing the greenhouse gas emission, because green open space has an ability to absorbing the CO2 emission. The purpose of this research is to find out the potential of absorption capacity of CO2 by the pbulic’s green open space and to analyze the level of absoption of CO2 by green open space from transportation activity. The method in this research is calculate the value of CO2 emissions and counting the trees whcih has diameters more than 20 centimeter. The sufficiency of green open space was analyze and then compared the absorbing power of CO2 by trees with number of CO2 emissions that produced. Sukajadi district is produced the CO2 emissions from transportation which is high enough as much as 51.212.465 ton CO2/year. While the ability of CO2 absorption by the public’s green open space in Sukajadi district only 6.456,68 ton CO2/year. The public’s green open space in Sukajadi district thet viewed of absorbing CO2 emissions of transportation is still not enough with percentage is only about 0,0126%.Keywords : Green Open Space, CO2 emissions, and Greenhouse Gas

Abstract

Pinang Kampai Airport Dumai City serves domestic flights, and home base for BNP-B (National Board for Disaster Management) helicopters. The noise level is influenced by the flight activity when monitoring the area of Dumai City Fire Area around it. The purpose of this study was to determine the noise intensity at the airport and surrounding residential areas, the duration of noise exposure, and the mapping of the noise dispersal pattern. Noise measurement method based on KepMenLH No 48/1996, and the device in use is Sound Level Meter (SLM). Measurement of sound pressure level (Leq) lasts for two days on weekdays and holidays. Based on the results of data processing of 8 measurement points conducted on weekdays and holidays, the results show the highest noise level is on the southern runway area on the working day of 100.8 dB and on the holiday of 101.0 dB (exceeding the standard quality of 85 dB, Kepmenaker No. 51/1999) and the highest noise level in the residential area around the airport on weekdays are in the eastern settlement of 82.41 dB and on holidays of 86.59 dB which overall exceeds the 55 dB determined standard, KepMenLH No. 48/1996).
