ABSTRAKPenyakit Tuberkulosis merupakan penyakit yang menjadi masalah kesehatan di seluruh negara. Indonesia merupakan lima negara terbesar dengan kasus Tuberkulosis. Garut merupakan penyumbang penyakit TBC dengan 3.078 kasus, khususnya sebanyak 218 kasus TBC anak. Resiko penularan TBC tidak hanya pada dewasa, namun juga pada anak. Penularan ini diakibatkan oleh faktor-faktor baik eksternal ataupun internal. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan TBC pada anak di Kabupaten Garut. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan pendekatan Case Control. Jumlah sampel 92 anak yang terdiri dari 46 kasus dan 46 kontrol. Analisa data yang digunakan adalah deskriptif dan odds ratio. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara variabel status gizi (p:0,000 OR= 0,11), riwayat kontak TBC (p: 0,000 OR= 0,15), usia imunisasi BCG (p: 0,002 OR= 0,11), ASI eksklusif (p: 0,000 OR= 0,13), keberadaan perokok (p: 0,000 OR= 0,05), sanitasi lingkungan: jenis tempat tinggal (p: 0,030 OR= 0,16), kepadatan hunian (p: 0,000 OR=0,10) dan ventilasi rumah (p: 0,000 OR= 0,13) dengan TBC pada anak. Kesimpulan. Faktor resiko TBC pada anak diantaranya adalah status gizi, riwayat kontak TBC, usia imunisasi BCG, ASI eksklusif, keberadaan perokok dan sanitasi lingkungan. TBC pada anak dapat dicegah dengan penanganan lebih lanjut kesehatan pada anak, perilaku keluarga dan lingkungan.Kata Kunci: Anak; Faktor Resiko; Tuberkulosis. This transmission is caused by both external and internal factors. The purpose of this study was to determine the risk factors of TBC in children in Garut district. This research is done by using Case Control approach. The sample size was 92 children consisting of 46 cases and 46 controls. Data analysis used is descriptive and odds ratio. The results showed that there was a significant correlation between nutritional status (p:0,000 OR = 0,11), contact history of tuberculosis (p:0,000 OR= 0,15), BCG immunization age (p:0,002 OR= 0,11), exclusive breastfeeding (p:0,000 OR= 0,13), the presence of smokers (p:0,000 OR= 0.05), environmental sanitation: type of residence (p:0,030 OR= 0.16), occupancy density (p:0,000 OR= 0.10) and home ventilation (p:0,000 OR= 0.13) with tuberculosis in children. Conclusion. Risk factors for tuberculosis in children are nutritional status, history of TB contacts, BCG immunization age, exclusive breastfeeding, presence of smokers and environment sanitation. TB in children can be prevented by further treatment of child health, family behavior and the environment.Keywords: Children; Risk Factors; Tuberculosis.
