<![CDATA[Designing a good assignment will shape the student learning. Have we known the mostimportant thing in designing and selecting assignments for our students. Asstated byMaryellen Weimer (2015:2):†We can more effectively shape learning outcomes if we startwith objectives that force us to get specific about whatwe want students to know and be ableto.â€Specific coourse objectives should be decided before designing a good assignment that canforce the teacher to find specific assignment matched to what the students have to know andbe able to do, so a teacher can have more effective learning outcomes. Every assignmentinfluences the shape of learning outcomes.In modern era technology a teacher has more options to design writing assignments. Theresearch done is finding the learning outcomes from the students by giving the same writingdesign assignment. The data is taken from comparing their writing through blog or respons toposts that students know, will be read and commented on not only by their peers but also bypublic blog posts, and peer writing that will be read and commented on only by their partner.The result is the students could get a lot of comments that can make them more aware of theirmistakes in writing through blog, while through peer writing the students get comments onlyfrom their partners. <![CDATA[Digitalization era could not be separated from using smartphones in people life activities. Everybody has got smartphones as they are handy to bring, not only easy to operate and to connect but also be connected. Therefore, most students use their smartphones during teaching learning process in the classroom during teaching learning process in the classroom, as they provide so many applications to be used. So, why dont we maximize their functions in the teaching learning process rather than keep asking students not to use their smartphones by updating status on their social media, browsing or playing games secretly. This paper is talking about how teachers use the social media to be interacted and be very useful during teaching learning process. The connectivity of internet provide by the campus is free, so the teachers could make a group of WhatsAp or Line used as media of giving and doing tasks. The paper talks about what application and activities used to be integrated and interesting process in teaching and learning English.]]>

<![CDATA[ROS is a framework for identifying places of interest. In ROS there are three criteria that are the parameters of experience, environment, location and examples of activities. The measurements of the ROS parameters yield 5 classes ranging from Easily Accessible to Remote Area. . The problem found was tourism marine activities from diving, snorkeling and intentional fishing affecting the quality and the ecosystem existence. This study will review the recreational zone which is not contrary to the principles of marine area management. It is expected that the identification of zoning in the form of marine tourism spectrum classes beside tourism activitie plan using parameters in ROS will make the ??Tanjung Kelayang area becoming a tourist area not only attracts tourists but also becoming more sustainable. This research uses a descriptive method with qualitative approach (1) describes the potential of Tanjung Kelayang marine tourism area based on Main Attraction, Depth and Air, Latitude and Access. Then after that (2) an analysis with ROS resulted in the classification of ROS Tanjung Kelayang class. Next (3) The ROS classification results will be drawn in the form of GIS with the help of Arc application. GIS and Arc. Map. <![CDATA[Derasnya arus globalisasi dan modernisasi membawa dampak pada berubahnya gaya hidup masyarakat di Kota Pekalongan. Perubahan gaya hidup ini sering dialami oleh remaja, khususnya remaja yang berasal dari golongan ekonomi kelas menengah. Hal ini disebabkan karena remaja tersebut memiliki modal yang cukup dari pendapatan ekonomi orang tuanya. Penelitian ini mengambil lokasi di Kota Pekalongan dengan pertimbangan bahwa kota ini adalah salah satu kota kelas menengah yang mempunyai keunikan tersendiri. Tujuan dilakukannya penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pola pendidikan keluarga keluarga kelas menengah, sekolah dan masyarakat. Selain itu penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pergaulan, perilaku konsumsi dan komunikasi remaja kelas menengah yang akan menggambarkan gaya hidupnya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan memanfaatkan teknik analisis data interaktif dalam pembahasannya. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa gaya hidup remaja kelas menengah yang terlihat dari pergaulan, pilihan konsumsi dan komunikasi merupakan cerminan hasil dari pendidikan yang dilakukan oleh keluarga, sekolah dan lingkungan masyarakat. The rise of globalization and modernization bring the effect to the changes of the lifestyle in the people of Pekalongan. These lifestyle changes are often experienced by teenagers, especially young people who come from the middle-class economy. These happen because they have sufficient capital from their parent income. This study took place in Pekalongan considering that this city is one of the middle-class cities that has its own uniqueness. The purpose of this research is to determine the educational pattern of the family, school and the community from the middle-class. In addition this research is conducted to determine the social intercourse, consumption behavior and the communication of the middle-class teenagers which will describe their lifestyle. The method used in this research is a qualitative research by using interactive data analysis techniques to the discussion. The result of the research showed that the lifestyle of middle-class teenager which can be seen from the social intercourse, the choice of consumption and communication are a reflection of the education result by the family, school and society environment.]]>

<![CDATA[The trainees’ English speaking skill ability at Enhaii hotel can not be separated from their knowledge of language functions in hotel service business. Enhaii Hotel is a training hotel for hospitality students of STP Bandung. It is identified that sometimes the trainees use inappropriateness of vocabularies and English terms. In other words, there is sometimes misunderstanding between the trainee and the guests. This research is aimed to describe the customers’ understanding level towards trainees’ technical terms and vocabularies chosen in a hotel business. Therefore, it is used as the basis of improving the trainees’ quality communication service at Enhaii Hotel Bandung. The writers use observation technic to identify the effectiveness and appropriateness of vocabularies and terms chosen in serving the hotel guests.]]>

<![CDATA[Abstrak Dengan rangka mendukung kebijakan Pemerintah mengenai pengembangan Bali baru, diperlukan kajian mengenai over tourism sebagai bentuk rencana antisipasi kerusakan destinasi wisata. Bertujuan untuk menemukenali akibat yang disebabkan oleh melonjkanya jumlah pengunjung di Pangandaran. Dengan metode penelitian kualitatif didapatkan hasil bahwasanya terdapat beberapa faktor yang terjadi di kawasan wisata Bahari Pangandaran yaitu lonjakan pengunjung disetiap akhir pekan dan melebihi jumlah masyarakat lokal itu sendiri, ketidakmampuan bangunan utama dalam menampung jumlah wisatawan. Mulai timbul rasa tidak nyaman oleh masyarakat yang bermukim dekat dengan kawasan wisata. Isu pengaturan alur wisatawan merupakan solusi dalam permasalahan lonjakan wisatawan. Kata Kunci : Over Tourism, Lonjakan Kunjungan, Pengaturan Alur Wisatawan. Abstract In order to support the Government's policy regarding the development of a new Bali, it is necessary to study over tourism as a form of plan to anticipate damage to tourist destinations. Aims to identify the consequences caused by the increasing number of visitors in Pangandaran. With the qualitative research method, the results show that there are several factors that occur in the Pangandaran marine tourism area, namely the surge in visitors every weekend and exceeding the number of local people themselves, the inability of the main building to accommodate the number of tourists. People who live close to tourist areas begin to feel uncomfortable. The issue of regulating the flow of tourists is a solution to the problem of tourist surge.
