Abstract

This research is about the characteristic function of four-parameter generalized tdistribution. Four-parameter generalized t distribution has four parameters whichare μ as a location parameter, σ as a scale parameter, p and q as a shapeparameter, and B as a function of beta. The characteristic function are retrievedfrom the expectation of e itx , where i as a imaginary number. Then, the characteristicfunction of four-parameter generalized t distribution was able to be determined byusing definition and trigonometric expansions. Based on those two methods thisstudy got the same results and then will be continued proving the fundamentalproperties of the characteristic function of four-parameter generalized t distribution.Furthermore, it needs graph simulation on a characteristic function of four-parameter generalized t distribution. Graph simulation result on the characteristicfunction of four- parameter generalized t distribution was formed a closed curve(circle) are smooth.Keywords: four-parameter generalized t distribution, characteristic function,graph simulation

Abstract

ABSTRACTTeacher centered learning patterns cause drowsiness, lack of enthusiasm, and many who do not pay attention.This lack of learning innovation is thought to cause low student learning outcomes.To overcome this problem, one of them is by applying the ASSURE model. The purpose of this study is to find out (1) there are differences in the average student mathematics learning outcomes with learning using the ASSURE model with students' mathematics learning outcomes with direct learning models. (2) the average mathematics learning outcomes of students who learn using the ASSURE model are higher than students whose learning uses direct learning. Furthermore, the data were analyzed using the statistical test t, because the data is homogeneous and comes from a population that is normally distributed. From the results of the data analysis it can be concluded that there are differences in the average student learning outcomes using ASSURE model learning with direct learning and the average learning outcomes of the ASSURE model is higher than the direct learning model.Keywords: ASSURE Learning Model, Learning Outcomes

Abstract

ABSTRAKTujuan Penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui (1) perbedaan rata-rata hasil belajar matematika siswa yang diperoleh melalui model pembelajaran NHT menggunakan pendekatan CTL dengan rata-rata hasil belajar matematika siswa yang diperoleh melalui model pembelajaran TPS menggunakan pendekatan CTL, (2) rata-rata hasil belajar metematika siswa yang diperoleh melalui model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT menggunakan pendekatan CTL lebih baik dari pada rata-rata hasil belajar matematika siswa yang diperoleh melalui model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TPS dengan pendekatan CTL. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 2 Sukoharjo tahun pelajaran 2018/2019 dengan teknik pengambilan sampel yakni dengan cluster random sampling. metode pengambilan sampel dengan menggunkan tes pilihan ganda dengan empat alternatif jawaban. Teknik analisis data dengan menggunakan Analisis Variansi (anava) satu jalan dengan sel yang sama dengan uji prasyarat normalitas dan homogenitas data. Berdasarkan analisis data disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan rata-rata hasil belajar matematika siswa yang diperoleh melalui model pembelajaran NHT menggunakan pendekatan CTL dengan rata-rata hasil belajar matematika siswa yang diperoleh melalui model pembelajaran TPS menggunakan pendekatan CTL dan dengan melihat rerata pada masing-masing kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol diperoleh bahwa rata-rata hasil belajar metematika siswa yang dikenai melalui model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT menggunakan pendekatan CTL lebih baik dari pada rata-rata hasil belajar matematika siswa yang diperoleh melalui model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TPS dengan pendekatan CTL.Key Word : Numbered Head Together (NHT), Think Pair Share (TPS, Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) , gaya belajar
