Abstract

This research deals with the problem of postponement facility siting for distributing OPC cements produced by PT. Semen Jawa. In order to obtain the optimum value of the site location, centre of gravity (CoG) method is applied. From calculation, a location in Jatiwarna, Bekasi with longitutede and latitude of -6.30687 dan 106.9311, respectively, is selected. I addition, for the reason of efficiency, it is suggested in this paper the PT. Semen Jawa should share a location of SCG batching plant in Kampung Rambutan as a postponement facility.

Abstract

This study aims to discover at the effects of the implementation of pack house in the supply chain of green bean from various aspects. The background of this study is the phenomenon of uneven distribution of pack house from the Department of Agriculture. The research object is involved 100 green bean?s farmers from Magelang. The used methods are observing, surveying, and interviewing in term of logistics cost. Multiple linear regression analysis is used to predict yields based on several cost components of green bean. There are two model equations that emerge from this method. The first equation assesses the relationship between yield and total production and transportation cost. This equation has the best significance value at the total cost of agricultural inputs. The second equation assesses the relationship between yield and the breakdown of the agricultural inputs. While the effects of pack house are to set as a non-agricultural operational hub that connect among stakeholders in green bean supply chain.

Abstract

This research focuses on assessing implementing postponement in a cement industry especially for OPC (Ordinary Portland Cement) in Indonesia. The company offers three postponement points; Ciawi and Kampung Rambutan, and Jatiwarna. This research has been done with observational method to map customer condition. Moreover, implementing linear programming model is used to gain optimal solution for allocated truck. The results are, highest proportion of OPC customer is in Jakarta, followed Karawang, and Bogor. The result from linear programming model simulation, Ciawi point is assigned to serve Jakarta and Bogor’ customers, Kampung Rambutan point is assigned for Jakarta and Kawarang’ customers, and Jatiwarna point is prepared for Jakarta, Karawang, Bekasi, Lampung, Pekalongan, Tangerang, and Serang’ customers. So, implementing postponement can increase customer satisfaction without adding higher cost such as investment cost. The cement industry encounter effectiveness and responsiveness even tough, some problem shall be taken such as double administration process (manual and computerized).

Abstract

Planning production capacity to meet demand is a challenge for companies. Inventory and fulfillment rate problems become an issue in every planning process. The company aims to minimize inventory and maximize the level of demand fulfillment. Small production activities will minimize total inventory but reduce the level of demand fulfillment, and vice versa. The system dynamic modeling was chosen to model the condition of the production system in determining the medium-term strategy. Abstract

Abstrak Tingkat kematangan pepaya selama ini diidentifikasi secara visual dengan perubahan warna pada kulit buah pepaya. Proses identifikasi ini memiliki beberapa kekurangan di antaranya melelahkan, tidak konsisten, dan memakan waktu. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah membangun sebuah aplikasi pengolahan citra untuk mengidentifikasi tingkat kematangan pada buah pepaya berbasis mobile agar lebih efektif. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah regresi linier berganda. Metode ini digunakan untuk mencari korelasi antara nilai red, green, blue (RGB) dan Brix pada buah pepaya. Pembuatan aplikasi ini menggunakan metode K-Nearest Neighbour (KNN) menggunakan 90 buah papaya dengan tingkat kematangan yang berbeda, yaitu tingkat kematangan mentah, mengkal, dan matang. KNN digunakan sebagai metode untuk kuantifikasi warna sehingga mendekati warna yang sesungguhnya. Hasil pengujian sistem menunjukkan bahwa penerapan aplikasi identifikasi tingkat kematangan buah pepaya memiliki tingkat akurasi sebesar 66,67%. Aplikasi ini butuh untuk dikembangkan lebih lanjut karena masih memiliki tingkat akurasi yang rendah, tetapi aplikasi ini sudah dapat digunakan sebagai alat bantu sortasi pepaya.Kata kunci: pengolahan citra, pepaya, RGB, Brix AbstractThe degree of ripeness of papaya has been evaluated manually based on its skin color parameters. This identification process has several disadvantages, such as exhausting, inconsistent, and taking time. This research is set to build an application of image processing for identifying a papaya maturity level based on the mobile application. The method used in this research is multiple linear regression to find the correlation between red, green, blue (RGB) and Brix values in papaya. The mobile application is developed by using K-Nearest Neighbour (KNN) method for 90 papayas with different levels of maturity; unripe, moderate, and ripe. KNN is used to estimate the color of papaya skin quantitatively. The result showed that the use of the mobile application for determination of the degree of papaya ripeness has an accuracy level of 66.67%. The mobile application can be used as a supporting tool for papaya sorting process, although it should be improved to increase its accuracy.Keywords: image processing, papaya, RGB, Brix

Abstract

Aktivitas perusahaan yang cepat menimbulkan sebuah iklim lingkungan yang ketat dan bahkan keras, sehingga diperlukan sebuah motivasi kerja yang baik. Peranan motivasi kerja sangat mempengaruhi dalam pencapaian tujuan sebuah organisasi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kepuasan kerja berdasarkan faktor aspek gaji, pengembangan diri(karir), kebijakan pimpinan, hubungan rekan kerja, loyalitas, dan prestasi pada divisi pramugari di perusahaan transportasi bis Joglosemar. Data dalam penelitian ini diolah dengan menggunakan skala likert yang digunakan untuk mengukut kepuasan kinerja pramugari bis joglosemar, lalu dianalisa dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif untuk membandingkan dengan teori kepuasan kerja. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat kepuasan kerja pramugari bis joglosemar cenderung rendah. Untuk nilai tertinggi adalah aspek hubungan rekan kerja dan nilai yang terendah adalah gaji dan pengambangan diriv (karir). Hasil penelitian juga membuktikan bahwa akibat dari rendahnya kepuasan kerja mengakibatkan adanya sebuah penyimpangan kerja yang dilakukan oleh pramugari bis, yaitu dengan menaikkan penumpang secara ilegal.

Abstract

Pandemi COVID-19 berdampak pada mobilitas manusia, khususnya di bidang penerbangan. Penurunan trafik penumpang yang dirasakan pengelola bandara Yogyakarta (Bandara Internasional Yogyakarta - YIA dan Bandara Adisutjipto - JOG) membuat pengelola bandara ingin mengetahui pilihan penumpang untuk bepergian di masa pandemi COVID-19. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui survei (daring dan luring) dan observasi lapangan. Data tersebut mencakup demografi responden serta persepsi atau preferensi penumpang untuk bepergian selama pandemi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar penumpang masih ragu-ragu (moderat) apakah akan menunda atau melanjutkan perjalanan udara selama pandemi. Hasil uji ANOVA menunjukkan bahwa semua faktor demografi seperti jenis kelamin, tujuan perjalanan, usia, dan pilihan bandara memiliki signifikansi dengan respon. Secara umum, penumpang ingin terbang secepat mungkin dalam satu hingga tiga bulan ke depan. Oleh karena itu, pengelola bandara harus memberikan layanan yang menjamin keselamatan pengguna agar terhindar dari paparan virus. Selain itu, perlu adanya kebijakan yang jelas dari pemerintah terkait mobilitas penumpang dan angkutan umum agar operasional angkutan umum khususnya penerbangan dapat berjalan dengan baik di masa pandemi.

Abstract

Petani menggunakan hasil panen untuk dijual dan memenuhi kebutuhan sehari-hari. Hal ini pula yang terjadi di desa Dukuhwulung, Kabupaten Banyumas. Mayoritas petani di Dukuhwulung sangat bergantung pada pengepul. Petani menjual hasil tani masih mengandalkan pengepul dengan harga yang sudah ditentukan oleh pengepul. Kesulitan yang dialami petani belum memiliki fasilitas dalam media transaksi secara langsung kepada konsumen agar dapat mengolah data pasokan barang dan harga sesuai dengan kebutuhan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk membuat aplikasi e-commerce pertanian dalam melakukan penjualan hasil tani secara langsung tanpa perantara dengan menggunakan penjualan dengan sistem e-commerce. Pembangunan aplikasi ini menerapkan metode zachman framework dalam menentukan batasan-batasan bisnis logic yang akan diterapkan pada aplikasi dan menerapkan metodologi kanban untuk pembangunan aplikasi dengan proses to-do pada kanban board. Proses yang dilakukan antara lain menganalisis perancangan aplikasi sesuai dengan kebutuhan owner. Metode kanban yang dilakukan antara lain, perancangan product backlog dalam menentukan kebutuhan sistem yang dibangun sesuai dengan request oleh product owner dan membentuk tim developer. Hasil yang diperoleh dari perancangan metode zachman yaitu dari pengujian usability testing didapatkan dari 20 pengguna aplikasi, 16 pengguna dapat menggunakan aplikasi dengan baik, dan 4 pengguna belum dapat menggunakan aplikasi. Hal ini menunjukan bahwa aplikasi berfungsi dengan baik.

Abstract

Preventive maintenance is a planned and scheduled maintenance method that is carried out before a machine failure occurs. The maintenance schedule can be determined based on experience, historical data, or recommendations. Selecting the maintenance schedule greatly affects the production system. The Clin machine in cement manufacturing has an important role in the cement production process. During treatment, the client machine cannot produce clinker, so it is necessary to plan a production system to meet the demand. This paper aims to design an optimization model for determining the preventive maintenance schedule for cement manufacturing by considering the production process and inventory control. Mathematical models with binary options are used to model that system. The model supports showing the optimal preventive maintenance schedule for the ciln machines with a binary decision each period. This mathematical model describes the interaction of production planning, inventory control, and scheduling of total maintenance on a kiln machine. The goal of this system is to determine the optimal preventive maintenance schedule with minimum costs. In addition, the system's output is the optimal production and inventory decision rule for each period. Based on the analysis and simulation of the model with the deterministic and dynamic demand, the optimal preventive maintenance schedule is in the 9th and 21st periods. The kiln machines are maintained every July with minimal costs. The model scenario shows the interaction of the variables and the sensitivity of the production capacity and demand to the decision rule of the variable.
