Abstract

Abstract One type of transportation that is already available for commuters in Solo and Yogyakarta is the Solo-Jogja Electric Rail Train, which has been operating in February 2021. One of the important things that must be considered by the Electric Rail Train service provider is the quality of service for commuter. This study aims to measure the potential for improving the service of the Solo-Jogja Electric Rail Train, which is measured using 5 variables, namely reliability, comfort, service, vehicle access, and safety. The method used is quanti-tative method and ANOVA statistical test. This study shows that the demographic factor of commuters has a significance with the service variable. The demographic factors are domicile, private vehicle ownership, station distance from home, and the income of travelers. Based on the mobility pattern of the commuters, it can be seen that there is an imbalance in the availability of facilities at large stations and at small stations, which makes travelers prefer to depart from large stations. In addition, the lack of integration between transportation modes at the station is an obstacle for commuters who live in suburban areas. Therefore, additional services are needed to facilitate commuters, especially for those who live in suburban areas. Abstract

The majority of people in Tegal City work as daily fishermen. However, in the handling process, there are incompatibilities between fish caught quality and wholesaler standards. The causes are lack of experience, knowledge and less training about fish handling. Therefore, it needs to find the correlation between fishermen’s socio-economic (demographic) and their catching behavior. This study uses quantitative methods. The collected data were statistically tested using ANOVA. The results showed income factor has significant correlation with poor fishing technique and fish slime. Departure time has significant correlation with poor fishing technique and wet ice handling. Fish damage percentage has significant correlation with stock of cooling media and fish quality decline. Thise factor is due to the lack of daily fishing capital and catching knowledge. Therefore, it needs cooperation from various parties to facilitate daily fishermen to gain optimal yields.

The processing activities is realized to produce added value products by minimizing marine products waste. this research aims to observe the women role in minimizing of marine products waste based on logistics activities. It is due to limited study mentioned about marine products waste assessment. The used method is quantitative with statistical test is ANOVA. The results show there is significant factor that has correlation with logistics activities. The factors are estimated amount of processed marine products and the daily income. The estimated amount of processed marine products has significant with unsold product that is given to nearest neighbor. Daily income has significant with storage, decrease the products quality, and bad weather. Moreover, by gaining appropriate storage, women have role to add their knowledge about inventory. They can collaborate with interested party to provide sufficient storage. In addition, the good storage can keep the processed marine product quality. The appropriate storage especially cold storage can keep the raw material inventory during bad weather.

Abstract

Village-owned enterprises (BUMDesa) and Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) are enabled to strengthen the rural economy. The two entities shall collaborate and will help the rural economy become more adaptive and sustainable. One approach to collaborate is using digital technology, such as web applications. It will allow businesses to survive by gaining potential networking and cross-border markets through online marketing. This collaboration can be done using a digital technology approach where both roles are needed to improve the village economy. If this technological approach is not implemented, then marketing will be limited so that it will have an impact on the village economy. The qualitative and scrum approach is used to develop the digital web. The result shows differences between BUMDesa and SMEs' roles toward the web application. BUMDesa can make better managerial through digital businesses so that BUMDesa can accelerate SMEs' productivity by opening new markets and business perspectives to SMEs. The testing process is carried out to prevent the failure of website development by implementing a usability test, namely the Usability Scale (SUS) System. The tests carried out show that the proposed design gets a good score of 69.63, so it is effective and efficient to be implemented in website development. SMEs can gain a broader market, improve their production standard, and add production capacities. The collaboration will map and profile their strengths and weaknesses to minimize the implementation gap. In addition, the BUMDesa and SMEs will invest in social capital, which means the ability to establish cooperation, trust, and participation, in the local community to benefit from the social network. It will improve innovation capability

Abstract

The current phenomenon is that many areas have the potential as tourist destinations but are not managed and equipped with proper facilities as tourist areas. Teluk Penyu is one of the tourism destinations that have the potential to develop. Therefore, improvements to the management of the Teluk Penyu need to be made to increase the interest of visiting tourists. This study uses the Kano Model, which focuses on the facilities and presents the Tourist Attraction Variable (A4), including accessibility, amenities, attractions, and ancillary. The results of this study indicate that the satisfaction attributes of A4 can be grouped into Kano's satisfaction category, namely one attribute in the must-be category, eight in one-dimensional, seven in attractive, and four in indifferent. Therefore, the priority for improvement starts from the must-be, one-dimensional, and attractive categories.

Abstract

During the COVID-19 pandemic, people tend to panic buying and hoard food supplies. This can trigger an increase in food waste during the pandemic, especially vegetable food waste. This also happens at the level of traders, especially green-grocer who sell in traditional markets. The behavior of traditional market traders who fail to adapt to food safety standards, poor handling, resulting in the emergence of food waste, especially during the pandemic. This study aims to determine the factors that cause vegetable food waste at the level of green-grocers. The method used is qualitative and quantitative with data collection techniques using questionnaires. The sampling was conducted using random sampling and the gained respondents are 111 green-grocers. Then, Chi-Square test is conducted to test the statistical correlation between green- grocer demographic and their preferences about food waste mitigation. The results show there is a correlation between the preferences of green-grocers related to food waste with their demographics. Furthermore, some traders' activities still cause food waste and some of them also don't know what food waste is and what food safety standards are. The less food safety standards, the greater the potential for food waste generated.
