Abstract

Departemen logistik merupakan departemen yang memegang peran penting dalam perusahaan karenabertugas untuk menyalurkan barang ke konsumen. PT. Z merupakan  perusahaan distributor produk-produk obat dan barang kebutuhan sehari-hari menghadapi permasalahan rute distribusi dalam menyalurkan produk obat dan barang kebutuhan sehari hari. Penyelesaian masalah yang dihadapi oleh PT. X adalah menggunakan Travelling Salesman Problem dengan pendekatan algoritma Greedy untuk mendapatkan rute distribusi terpendek.. Hasil dari rancangan rute distribusi baru menghasilkan bahwa rayon Tangerang Kota memiliki total waktu pengiriman 6 jam 44 menit, rayon Bumi Serpong Damai 6 jam 38 menit, rayon Ciledug 5 jam 21 menit, rayon Pamulang, Bintaro, Ciputat 5 jam 01 menit, rayon Curug, Cikupa, Balaraja 5 jam 41 menit, dan rayon Seluruh Rumah Sakit 6 jam 50 menit. Hasil dari perancangan rute baru juga menyebabkan perubahan terhadap biaya distribusi yaitu perubahan pada biaya penggunaan bahan bakar minyak yang lebih kecil dari sebelumnya. Kata kunci: rute distribusi, algoritma Greedy, Travelling Salesman Problem

Abstract

K3 merupakan suatu permasalahan yang banyak menyita perhatian berbagai organisasi saat ini karena mencakup permasalahan segi perikemanusiaan, biaya, pertanggung jawaban serta citra organisasi itu sendiri. Saat ini perusahaan dapat dikatakan belum menerapkan K3 dengan baik. Hal-hal tersebut dapat menyebabkan kecelakaan kerja dan penyakit akibat kerja. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan dilakukan upaya pencegahan kecelakaan kerja dan penyakit akibat kerja, salah satunya dapat dilakukan dengan cara analisis risiko. Salah satu metode HIRARC (Hazard Identification, Risk Assesment, and Risk Control). Metode ini terdiri dari 3 tahapan yaitu identifikasi bahaya, penilaian risiko, dan penentuan pengendalian berdasarkan data. Identifikasi bahaya dilakukan dengan cara melakukan wawancara dan observasi karyawan dan pemilik industri, sedangkan penilaian risiko dilakukan dengan cara menyebarkan kuesioner penilaian tingkat kemungkinan dan keparahan terjadinya risiko setiap potensi bahaya. Kuesioner ini disebarkan kepada karyawan dan pemilik salah satu rumahan industri tahu. Setelah didapatkan indeks risiko dari setiap potensi bahaya, langkah selanjutnya adalah menetapkan langkah-langkah pengendalian risiko. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, didapatkan 19 potensi bahaya pada proses pembuatan tahu, dimana 15,9% merupakan bahaya dengan kategori risiko rendah, 36,9% merupakan bahaya kategori risiko sedang, dan 47,2% merupakan bahaya kategori risiko tinggi. Pekerjaan dengan risiko tingkat tinggi berada pada kegiatan perebusan tahu, menggoreng tahu dan pemberian larutan pengendap tahu. Pengendalian yang dapat dilakukan untuk mengurangi risiko antara lain adalah penggunaan Alat Pelingdung Diri (APD) bagi pekerja, sehingga pekerja dapat dengan aman dan nyaman dalam bekerja, dan dipasangkan rambu-rambu peringatan pada setiap sudut ruang produksi untuk mencegah terjadinya hal-hal yang tidak diinginkan. Abstract

This study is an experimental laboratory, conducted to get the antibacterial activity in the types of multiflora honey, randu honey, mente honey, rambutan honey, sono honey, acacia honey, rubber honey. In this study, preliminary tests, phytochemical screening, and antibacterial tests have been carrying out to determine the Minimum Inhibitory Level (MIC) and Minimum Killing Rate (KBM) at concentrations of 20, 25, 50, and 100%. Phytochemical test results it's known that each honey contains positive alkaloids, flavonoids, glycosides, and saponins. Antibacterial test results showed that each honey's positively had antibacterial activity. MIC and KBM obtained showed that each honey can inhibit the growth of bacteria, but only rambutan honey in Escherichia coli bacteria cannot kill bacteria. Abstract

Efficiency and quality are two crucial factors in the manufacturing industry in Indonesia. PT. SASL and Sons Indonesia is a manufacturing company in the coconut processing industry, with various stages of production separated into different rooms. However, the production room layout was found to be inefficient due to the distance and size between the rooms, which affected the flow of material movement. To address this issue, the Computerized Relationship Layout Method (CORELAP) was used to redesign the layout of each production room and improve the flow of material movement. Factors considered in the redesign included the sequence of production processes, the distance of material movement, and the dimensions of the machine and material handling equipment. The new layout resulted in a material movement distance of 53.963 meters, a reduction of 86.7% from the initial layout's distance of 406.75 meters. This study demonstrates the importance of optimizing production room layout for improved efficiency and material movement, which can ultimately lead to better quality products and customer satisfaction.

Abstract

CV. Mitra Utama is a poultry farming company that provides raw materials to meet the community's demand for broiler chicken meat. However, the availability of chicken feed greatly affects their production process. They often face inventory control problems due to varying feed availability and capacity constraints when ordering. This study aimed to support chicken feed ordering scheduling, plan feed purchasing to achieve optimal results, and determine optimal total feed inventory to minimize total feed inventory costs. The EOQ Multi-Item method was used to control demand or ordering several types of products optimally with the lowest possible total cost. The study results showed the optimal order quantity for each type of chicken feed, and the required storage space for optimal orders. This information is necessary for the company to control feed inventory so that the desired inventory orders achieve optimal results. Food needs are crucial for human survival, and companies in the field of animal husbandry and agriculture play an essential role in providing raw materials to meet these needs. This study provides insights into how a company can optimize their inventory management and ordering process to ensure the availability of chicken feed for their production process.

Abstract

PT XYZ, a ball manufacturer, faced difficulty in setting a labor schedule due to the Pandemi situation, which resulted in limited operational costs and a decline in ball demand. This study aims to solve the problem of regulating the number of workers using the Tibrewala, Philippe & Browne algorithm. The algorithm helps in determining the amount of daily labor required for each production process. The data processing was carried out during Pandemi to determine the effective labor scheduling for all operators. The results showed the need for a reduction in labor, which was achieved by modeling effective labor scheduling within a week period. The cost analysis showed that scheduling could reduce operational costs. Therefore, the study suggested providing training to each operator to work on the entire production process so that the number of operators off is minimized. The algorithm can be beneficial in regulating the workforce in a job order-based company.

Abstract

 Pacific Ball Inkor is facing several problems in their raw material supply activities such as stock accumulation, materials not passing the test, and delayed production process. To prevent potential risks, this research aims to identify and analyze risk agents using the Supply Chain Operation Reference model and House of Risk method. The study found 17 risks and 13 risk agents, and 9 selected risk agents were analyzed in HOR Phase 2 to obtain mitigation strategies. Finally, 12 mitigation strategies were obtained, which could be helpful for the company to manage and prevent potential risks. This research emphasizes the importance of risk identification and analysis in the supply chain management to minimize the impact of potential risks on the company's operations.

Abstract

PT Inkor Bola Pacific is a company that produces various types of balls according to the demand. However, the lack of a clear list of criteria for selecting suppliers has led to problems in fulfilling raw material needs. This research aims to identify the criteria that must be met to choose suppliers and determine priority criteria. The Fuzzy Analytical Hierarchy Process method is used to determine the weight of each criterion through assessments obtained from questionnaires. The assessment is converted into a Fuzzy scale and the paired matrix is calculated to determine the ranking of each criterion. The results show that the weight of quality is 0.7874 and the weight of price is 0.2126 for fast-moving raw materials. For slow-moving raw materials, quality is given a weight of 1. The prioritization of criteria helps the purchase department to choose suppliers according to the company's standards. The findings can contribute to improving the supply chain management of PT Inkor Bola Pacific and other companies in similar industries.

Abstract

PT Dwi Putra Perkasa is one of the large convection companies in Malang City, East Java. The increasingly fierce competition in the industrial world requires companies to continue to improve their business. The implementation of a good and ergonomic system is one of the main factors that support the progress of a business. There are two problems identified at PT Dwi Putra Perkasa. First, a less structured work system makes workers less optimal in doing work. Second Uncertain natural lighting affects the performance of workers. This research was conducted with two methods, namely micromotion study for work system problems and experimental design methods using a complete random design to determine the effect of lighting. The results of the analysis showed that through the micromotion study method there was an increase in efficiency at each station, namely: Station 1 was 102.93%, Station 2 was 125.38%, Station 3 was 112.31%, and Station 4 was 105.98%. While through the experimental design it was found that performance at station one was not affected by light intensity while stations 2, 3, and 4 were affected. In addition it can also be concluded that the lamp used is a lamp with a light intensity of 140 lux.

Abstract

This study aimed to propose a layout design for the dining area of Dr Mochtar Riady Student Center, Universitas Ma Chung using ergonomics to maximize the area and support facilities. Currently, the dining area is not utilized optimally, and the facilities are inadequate. The study utilized an ergonomic approach to develop a layout design that can maximize the area and support facilities on the 1st and 2nd floors. The proposed design includes an increase in tables from 36 to 138, chairs from 190 to 652, electrical contact areas from 3 to 22, and trash bins from 3 to 14. Additionally, the design includes new facilities for stands, booths, sinks, and return racks to enhance the dining experience. The proposed layout design can provide a comfortable and ergonomic dining area for students, employees, and lecturers. The results of the study can be used as a reference for other universities in optimizing their dining areas.
