Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah supervisi akademik teknik pelatihan GROW ME dapat meningkatkan kemampuan guru dalam menerapakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD. Subjek penelitian ini terdiri dari delapan orang guru bahasa Inggris yang mengajar di Kelas X. Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam bentuk penelitian tindakan sekolah. Enam langkah GROW ME (Goal, Reality, Option, What next/will, Monitoring, Evaluation) digunakan pada setiap tindakan pada setiap siklus. Hasil Peneltian ini menunjukan bahwa rata-rata kemampuan guru meningkat pada setiap siklus. pada siklus pertama dalam membuat RPP model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD adalah 80,10%, pada siklus pertama kemampuan guru dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD adalah 74,53%. Sementara itu pada siklus kedua kemampuan guru menunjukan peningkatan setelah cara melaksanakan tindakan pada siklus sebelumnya direvisi pada siklus kedua. Rata-rata kemampuan guru dalam membuat RPP model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD adalah 86, 46%, kemampuan guru dalam menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD adalah 86, 84%. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah penerapan supervisi akademik teknik pelatihan GROW ME dapat meningkatkan kemampuan guru bahasa Inggris dalam menerapakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD di Kabupaten Tebo.

Abstract

R. UBAIDILLAH & M. AMIR. 1987. The Stem Borer Insects Pest on Albizia talcataria (L.) FOSB.and its Variation of tvoe of the Damage. Suppl. Berita Biologi. 3 : 66 - 69. .The stem borer insect of Albizia falcataria causes not only damage of the trunk, but also reduce the quality of the wood.Control of the insects borer using silviculture method require knowledges about its nature, behaviour and other ecological factor.The study of damage to Albizia stand by insects borer was carried out at the Albizia plantation, Rancamaya, Bogor.Observation were made on the group stands of 2 - 3; 6 - 7 and 9-10 years old respectively.The results indicate the Albizia stand are attacked by two species of insect borer, namely Xystrocera festiva Pasc.(Coleoptera : Cerambycidae) and Arbela tetraonis Moore. (Lepidoptera : Arbelidae).X festiva attacked stands of all group categories, while A. tetraonis attacked only the young stands or the branches of old stands. The damage caused by X. festra is up to 20% of the period 8-10 years, while A tetraonis caused damage up to 30% of the same class.

Abstract

JANITA AZIZ & M. AMIR. 1988.Some ectoparasites collecting methods of racing pigeon (Columba livia Gmelin). Berita Biologi 3(8):382 - 385.Extraction of ectoparasites of living racing pigeons was done using modified "Fait Isle".The insectisides used for the extraction were pyrethrum,caumaphos and chloroform.The number of acarines extracted during the night was higher than that during the day.In addition insecticides spraying treatment extracted more acarines than fumigation.From the 3 kinds of insecticides used,chloroform proved to kill more acarines than the other two insecticides.

Abstract

ANITA H. ATMOWIDJOJO, S. ADISOEMARTO & M. AMIR. 1985. Potential insect pests on vegetations of home gardens in Teluknaga, Citeureup and Pacet. Berita Biologi 3 (2) : 55 - 65. A total of 60 species of insects were recorded associated with 78 species of plants in three research localities. However, not all of these species were distributed equally, either in space or time. Many were found specific on certain host plants for the localities. On the other hand, there were host plants that harboured specific insect pests. It was also found that the seriousness of damage was not related to the specificity (in either way). A serious pest on certain host was not necessarily a serious pest on other host plants.

Abstract

M. AMIR & ANITA H. ATMOWIDJOJO.1985. Insect decomposers of organic materials in the kitchen gardens in Teluknaga, Citeureup and Pacet.Berita Biologi 3 (2) : 66 - 69. Studies on insect decomposers of home gardens at Teluknaga, Citeureup and Pacet were carried out to obtain information on their distribution and species diversity on plant and animal litters.The result indicated that the species composition of the insect decomposer at the three places (kecamatan) were not significantly different. It seemed that the insects were not affected by the different ground cover vegetation. Among the insect decomposers, termites were the most important. These insects were found to occupy different types of litters. The other insect decomposers, e.g. Gryllotafpa sp., Copris sp. and a species of Nitidulidae, were found in plant and animal litteis.

Abstract

SIH KAHONO, L.E. PUDJIASTUTI &. M. AMIR. 1987. Insect visitors on Acacia villosa Willd. Suppl. Berita Biologi. 3 : 70 - 71 Insect visitors on Acacia villosa Willd. (Leguminosae) has been observed at 10 flowering plants at Cibinong, Bogor. Observation were made at 6 a.m.-6 p.m. by means of collecting insects that visit the flowers of A. villosa for 30 minute with the interval time collection of 2 hours.There were found Hymenoptera (17 species), and followed by Lepidoptera (7 species) and Diptera (3 species).The community sturcture of the insect visitors at interval of 2 hours are varies, the number increased toward the mid day, and gradually declined in the evening. This fluctuation is probably due to the nectar content during the day.

Abstract

NOERDJITO&M.AMIR.1986.wood boring beetle of some leguminosae timbers.Berita Biologi 3(4): 159-162.At least 8 families of wood boring beetles were observed to cuse a damage on some leguminous timbers belong to the genus of Bauhinia,Albizia , Acacia,Sesbania,Erythrina and Glericida.They were namely Scolytidae(5Species),Platypodidae(4 species),Boctrychidae(6 species),Elateridae(1 species),Tenebrionidae(4 species),Erotylidae(1 species),Lucanidae(1 species) and Cetonidae(1 species).Hostplant selection of the beetles seemed to be determined by the timber species,as well as their state of decompositions.
