Abstract

Islamic bank in Indonesia exists side by side with its conventional counterpart within dual banking system, while the central bank aims to achieve price stability in the economy using conventional and Islamic monetary instruments within dual monetary system. This posits a very unique environment for Islamic bank. This research aims to examine the role of Islamic bank in monetary policy transmission mechanism using Granger Causality and Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL). The balance sheet components of deposit and financing were hypothesized to function in monetary transmission process within bank financing channel. Granger causality revealed that Islamic interbank overnight rate granger causes Islamic deposit and financing. Islamic deposit and financing granger cause industrial production index. Industrial production index granger cause inflation, Islamic deposit, and Islamic interbank overnight rate. Islamic deposit and inflation granger cause Islamic interbank overnight rate. The ARDL results showed that there were cointegrating relationships in the output and inflation model. Long-term convergence could be reached to correct deviations in output and inflation by way of Islamic banks? deposit and financing. However, short-term influence is contributed only by Islamic banks? deposit to output. Islamic banks? deposit does not contribute in the short-run to inflation. Islamic banks? financing does not have short-term relationship with output and inflation. Hence, there is a declining effectiveness of Islamic banks? financing contribution to the economy.

Abstract

Abstract

The presence of interference has a significant impact on wireless network connections indoors. Because of the effects of multipath propagation, such as reflection, refraction, and scattering of radio waves by the structure of the building, the sent signal can usually be received in free space or via more than one pathway, and the consequence might be a phenomenon known as multipath fading. For different results, propagation models have been identified, which provide the propagation features of the initial evaluation. There are two types of wireless propagation models: empirical and theoretical models that deal with coverage, overlapping channels, and wireless network performance. The planning system was set out using a practical and theoretical approach. Furthermore, this comparison may aid in determining the accuracy of survey measures in the context of indoor wireless monitoring and provide an estimate of the breadth and performance of wireless networks in the form of a new topology with contour presentation. Layout plan optimization The typical RSSI of a Wi-Fi system ranges from -40 dBm to -55 Dbm, with a power of 17-18 Dbm, and is applied to channels 1 through 11 non-overlapping in the design of networks with multiple APs that are nearby. The new topology represents the optimization outcomes, accompanied by a contour display and dispersed over the region.

Abstract

Customer satisfaction is a basic goal of any form of business or company, because customer satisfaction will provide many benefits for the sustainability of the business. Customer satisfaction will emerge influenced by certain factors. This study aims to analyze several factors that can influence customer impressions, tangible aspects, reliability, employee response, social responsibility, product innovation, competence and communication skills in Islamic banking. The research data was collected from customers of several Islamic banks in Jakarta. The data processed by the regression method with the SPSS software. This study shows that of the seven factors that are used as determinants of satisfaction, there are 4 factors that can affect the level of customer satisfaction at Islamic banks, namely tangibles, employee response, product innovation, and communication skills. Furthermore, this research also found that 3 other factors could not affect the level of customer satisfaction, those are competence, social responsibility, and reliability. The factors that influence the two dominant factors are the communication ability factor and the product innovation factor. The results of this study can help Islamic banks to be able to develop more effective and efficient strategies in terms of establishing high levels of customer satisfaction, so as to generate potential customers and higher profits.

Abstract

The role of zakat is significant not only as a means of worship but also zakat has a powerful social and economic aspect. Many previous studies have found that zakat that can be appropriately managed will solve social problems such as the gap between the rich and the poor, social jealousy, etc. In addition, zakat in economic terms was also found to reduce poverty rates, encourage economic growth and increase welfare. In this study, the factors considered are knowledge, attitudes, moral norms, and descriptive norms. Knowledge is related to the ability that is generally owned by someone pertaining to tithe activities. The research method that will be used is using the structural equation model method. With this method, it is hoped that the impact, both direct and indirect, will be seen in detail. This study indicates that the knowledge of a muzzaki and the moral norms he adheres to influence the person's intention to pay zakat significantly. Furthermore, in this study, it is also known that moral norms have a stronger impact between the two, namely knowledge and moral norms. In addition, this study also found that descriptive norms and attitudes did not significantly affect the intention to pay zakat on muzakki. The results of this study can be used in building tithe intentions, especially for zakat institutions, in terms of creating and building messages and appeals that are more appropriate for muzzaki.

Abstract

This research aims to formulate a poverty alleviation strategy in Indonesia by empowering Islamic Microfinance Institutions (IMFI) based on political-economic studies. The Indonesian political-economic system is stipulated in Article 33 of the 1945 Constitution and its Explanatory Paragraph, making the people the center of attention for national economic development. The research uses the Analytic Network Process (ANP) method developed by Saaty. The ANP construction uses a model consisting of 3 main clusters, namely Problems, Solutions, and Strategies. The qualitative-quantitative assessment data is determined based on the Saaty Scale obtained through an in-depth interview of 9 expert respondents and practitioners in Islamic economics and finance. The results show that poverty alleviation strategies need to be carried out through cultural and structural approaches. The cultural approach includes revitalizing the concept of the people's economy as stated in the 1945 Constitution, campaigning for using the domestic product,  socialization to increase literacy about waqf and zakat, improving the practices of bureaucratic ethics, and strengthening the values of togetherness and anti-monopoly.  The strategy at structural approach is carried out by implementing policies to enhance the role of cooperatives in the national economy; increasing the education budget for the poor and needy; increased coordination between authorities; bureaucratic reform; and honest and fair law enforcement against corruption. For the micro-level at the LKMS institution, the cultural approach is carried out by strengthening literacy on Islamic financial instruments, increasing financial inclusion programs, social inclusion programs, and strengthening methods for obtaining funding sources from Islamic financial instruments. On the structural side, it is necessary to improve the professionalism and capability of supporting LKMS, institutional strengthening, internal control and supervision system, improvement of supporting infrastructure, and enhancing service convenience.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of variables knowledge, attitudes, religious commitment, subjective norm, and the use of ICT Technology significantly influence behavior through the intention of the millennial generation in waqf in Jabodetabek. The methodology used in this study is the Structural Equation Model with the variables of knowledge, attitudes, religious commitment, subjective norms, and ICT technology as independent variables; intention as moderating variable, and waqf behavior as the dependent variable. The primary data of this study was obtained through a questionnaire survey to 290 respondents obtained through purposive random sampling from the millennial generation aged 21-40 years who live in Greater Jakarta. Then the data was analyzed using SPSS and AMOS software. Based on the results of this study, it was learned that the variable of knowledge does not affect the behavior of waqf through the intention of the millennial generation. In contrast, the variables of attitude, commitment, subjective norms, and the use of ICT technology had a positive and significant effect on waqf behavior through the intention of the millennial generation. This shows that the millennial generation, although their knowledge does not affect behavior, attitudes, commitment, subjective norms, and the use of ICT technology, have a positive and significant effect on waqf behavior results of this study indicate that the variables attitudes, religious commitment, subjective norm, and the use of ICT Technology significantly influence behavior through the intention of the millennial generation in waqf in Jabodetabek. At the same time, knowledge does not affect that behavior. This study implies that measuring consumer behavior should be equipped with additional indicators, namely intention, to analyze the behavior based on external factors and spiritual and social aspects.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the financial management of Indonesian hajj on yield using a dynamic system model and determine and simulate the return obtained with the expenditure so that the hajj funds remain safe. In addition, the purpose of this research is to provide input on policy strategies to the BPKH in increasing hajj financial yields. The method used in this research is dynamic systems modeling. The resulting model structure formulation is illustrated by a causal loop diagram and a stock-flow diagram. The results obtained were then simulated, and model validation was carried out using AME and AVE. Operational data used in this study uses time-series data. This study's population or several samples are annual historical data during the research period.  In modeling the dynamic system of hajj financial management on yield, it is divided into 2 (two) sub-models, namely the economic sub-model and the social sub-model. Meanwhile, to find out and simulate the yield obtained with the yield expenditure, 3 (three) scenarios were made, namely the existing, moderate, and optimistic scenarios. From the simulation results, it can be seen that making changes to portfolio policies with an optimistic scheme in the form of placements in Islamic Banks with a maximum of 20% and 80% investment and increasing the initial deposits of pilgrims from IDR 25 million to IDR 30 million in 2022 is a government policy intervention that produces optimal yield.
