Abstract

Usually, a modern industry requires theproduction keep going on with the least interrupt as possible,butfrequently, the unscheduled maintenance will waste money in a large amount which is allocated in amodern industry needs an enormous investment. Machines with good condition generally produce a littlerelative of vibration but with increase in service life, the vibration of machine will increase. In somecondition, the increase in quite drastic vibration probablymay occur. Thisphenomenon is an indicator thatthe machine must have an immediate repair. This vibration spectrum analysis is tried to conductedfor thetransmission system of differential gear. By means to use the alternative tools beside DSA (Dynamic SignalAnalyzer), that is CREATIVE SOUNDBLASTER AUDIGY LS5.1 and MATLAB 6.5 whichhave Fast FourierTransform facility and so, can to know the real condition gear by time domain andfrequency domain. Thevibration spectrum analysiswhich donetofocus byidentification signal ofproblem which comebygear meshlikegear meshfrequency ofhypoidgear andside gear.

Abstract

Vibration Analysis to Identity Gearmesh on Spur Gears Transmission by UsingLabVIEW Software. Spectrum vibration analysis which is done and focus on gearmesh. In thisexperiment, transmission ofspur gears is employed which is completed by a double-rotors kit model as aload. This experiment, which is done by using two kinds oflubrication with different viscosity such asSAE 20W-50 and SAE 15W-50. Vibration analysis employs alternative software, Lab VIEW that has highsimplicity andflexibility in making the customization as necessary. LabVIEW may be used to monitor themachine condition continuously and to acquire data when needed. Thus, the characteristic vibrationanalysis may be observed and ifan abnormal condition takes place, the solution may be required.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui tingkat kerusakan dan karakteristik spektrum vibrasi dari bantalan yang masih bagus, bantalan yang cacat 30% di lintasan dalam, cacat 30% di lintasan luar, cacat 30% di rolling element, dan bantalan yang rusak secara alami. Penelitian dilakukan dengan rig tool menggunakan bantalan 2205-K-2RS-TVH-C3 pada kecepatan 1500rpm, sinyal vibrasi diukur dengan alat FAG Detector III. Selanjutnya dilakukan analisa dengan trendline software. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bantalan dengan kondisi bagus memiliki karakteristik amplitudo velocity dibawah 1.80 mm/s dan spektrum vibrasi FFT velocity dan demodulation of acceleration yang tidak berimpitan dengan garis frekuensi impuls baik BPFI, BPFO dan BSF. Bantalan cacat 30% di lintasan dalam menghasilkan amplitudo velocity yang tinggi. Bantalan cacat 30% di lintasan luar dan cacat 30% di rolling element memiliki amplitudo velocity cenderung bervariasi. Bantalan yang cacat 30% di lintasan dalam, lintasan luar ataupun di rolling element menghasilkan spektrum vibrasi FFT velocity dan demodulation of acceleration dengan garis puncak frekuensi berimpitan dengan garis frekuensi impuls masing-masing BPFI, BPFO atau BSF.
