Abstract

Biologi merupakan salah satu mata pelajaran yang berhubungan denganalam.  Dalam  mata  pelajaran  biologi  ini,  banyak  konsep-konsep  penting  yang harus dikuasai oleh siswa. Namun demikian tidak semua materi dapat dipahami oleh siswa dalam pembelajaran. Untuk membantu siswa dalam memahami materipelajaran dibutuhkan media pembelajaran. Salah satu media pembelajaran tersebut adalah  modul  yang  dapat  meningkatkan  aktivitas  dan  hasil  belajar  siswa. Kenyataan yang ditemui di SMA Negeri 1 Bukit Sundi Kabupaten Solok. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, dilakukan penelitian yang bertujuan untuk mengembangkan modul biologi berorientasi Quantum Teaching dilengkapi peta pikiran.  Modul pembelajaran ini dikembangkan dengan menggunakan model 4-D yaitu Define (Pendefinisian), design (Perancangan), Pada tahap development (Pengembangan). Hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa modul pembelajaran yang dikembangkan memperoleh skor rata- rata 88,40 % dengan kategori sangat valid. Uji  praktikalitas  modul  pembelajaran    oleh  guru  memperoleh  skor  rata-  rata90,73% dengan kategori sangat praktis. Uji praktikalitas modul pembelajaran oleh siswa memperoleh skor rata- rata 83,20 % dengan kategori sangat praktis. Efektifitas modul pembelajaran dapat dilihat dari aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa yang  terdiri  dari  hasil  belajar  ranah  kognitif  dan  afektif  yang  menunjukka n ketuntasan minimal KKM. Hasil penelitian inii dapat disimpulkan bahwa telah dihasilkan modul biologi berorientasi Quantum Teaching dilengkapi peta pikiran untuk siswa kelas XI IPA Sekolah Menengah Atas yang valid, praktis, dan efektif

Abstract

This research started from the problem of low student results on the material of the virus. It is evident in the quiz grades of students who are under the minimum competence criteria (KKM) so that the value of courses on microbiology and parasitology virus material is not appropriate  as expected. This research purpose to know the implementation learning of microbiology and parasitology at the material Virus in the Apikes Iris Padang which includes the design, implementation and assessment of learning. Informants research is lecture of Microbiology and Parasitology and Students Apikes Iris Padang. This type of research is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. Based on the findings, we can conclude that (1) Lecturers are not planning independently contextual learning context-sensitive places or classrooms where learning implementation. (2) Lecturer implementing the learning has not been effective and efficient due to: (a) lecturers have not been able to utilize time effectively, (b) lecturers have not been able to establish and selecting instructional media appropriate in accordance with the criteria of the study material (c) the learning has not been effective due to the limited number and quality of laboratory equipment. (3) Lecturer already conducted an assessment of student learning outcomes for the quiz with the mechanisms and procedures that have not been right.This research started from the problem of low student results on the material of the virus. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of applying the time token learning model with worksheets to the students' competencies. This research is a quasi-experimental study (Quasi Experiment). The study population was firstrate Apikes Iris students  in general biology courses in the 2018/2019 school year. While the sample of this study was Apikes Iris level one local students A and  Local B as control class. The instruments used in the study were knowledge test questions, and attitude and skills observation sheets. Data analysis in this study used the t-test for knowledge competency and Mann Whitney U test, for attitude competency and skills. The results showed that the average value of learning competence of experimental class students was 80.03 better than control class students who were only 73.91. It can be concluded that the application of the learning model of the time token completed with student activity sheets has an effect on improving student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Biology is one of the subjects related with natural science. In the subject of this biology, there are important concepts that must students to know. However, not all the materials can be understood by students. So to help them needed media to learning, such as module that could help improving their activities and student learning outcomes, The fact in SMA Negeri 1 Bukit Sundi Kabupaten Solok.  Based on this problem, this research aim to develop  valid, practical, and effective of module with mind map in the biology learning based on Quantum Teaching. This module is developed with 4-D models. Based on the research result, known that the learning module with obtaining an average 88,40 % is very valid category. The practicalities of module by teachers obtaining an average  90,73% is very practical category. The practicalities of module by student obtaining an average 83,20% is very practical category. Effectiveness of the module could be seen from the learning student activities, and student learning outcomes consisting of the result of cognitive and affective learning that showed mastery exceed the minimum mastery criteria, This research  can be concluded that the module with Peta pikiran in the biology learning based on Quantum Teaching on respiratory system and excretion  for grade XI student in Senior High School is valid, practical, and effective.
