Abstract

This research seeks to explore and analyze the concept of modernization of Islamic education according to Azyumardi Azra. The results of this study conclude that: 1) The concept of Islamic education concerns three important things, namely: a) the purpose of education, both general goals which are the purpose of human life, as well as special objectives that are praxis; b) Islamic education curriculum in addition to being oriented towards fostering and developing religious values ​​in students, must now also give special emphasis to the mastery of science and technology; c) democratization of Islamic education aims at the end of the formation of a democratic, clean, moral, and moral Indonesian society and clinging to the value of civilization; 2) Modernization of Islamic education according to Azyumardi Azra relating to: (a) Input from the community into the education system, including ideological-normative; Political mobilization; Economic mobilization; Social mobilization; Culture mobilization; (b) Output for the community. includes changes in the value system; Political output; Economic output; Social output; and cultural output; 3) The relevance of Azra's thinking about the modernization of Islamic education with national education that Islamic religious education is a compulsory curriculum that must be presented in learning.

Abstract

This study aims (1) to determine the character values ​​of Muslim teenagers in the novel Merindu Baginda Nabi by Habiburrahman El-Shirazy. (2) To determine the relevance of the character values ​​of Muslim teenagers in the novel Merindu Baginda Nabi by Habiburrahman El-Shirazy with current Islamic education. The research method used is library research. Literature study is a series of activities relating to methods of collecting library data, reading and taking notes and processing research materials. Meanwhile, the data sources obtained from the author's research are primary data from Merindu Baginda Nabi book and secondary data from other supporting books related to the research content. After analyzing the data, the authors obtained the following research results: The character values ​​of Muslim teenagers in the novel Merindu Baginda Nabi by Habiburrahman El Shirazy include: (a) characters towards Allah and Rasulullah include: loving Allah and Rasulullah Saw; shahihul worship (true worship; and love the mosque (b) character towards oneself including mujahidatun linafsihi (can fight against lust); haritsun a'la waqithi (time management/good management); respect for achievement; always say good; always try seeking knowledge; broad-minded; honest (c) character towards family and environment including: tolerance; mathnul khuluk (strong character); beneficial to others; responsible; good at maintaining Islamic brotherhood. Meanwhile, the relevance of youth character values Muslims in the novel Merindu Baginda Nabi by Habiburrahman El Shirazy with the values ​​of Islamic Education at this time are in accordance with KI and KD of Islamic Religious Education, namely practicing honest behavior or character, discipline, responsibility, care (mutual cooperation, cooperation, tolerance, peace ), polite, responsive and pro-active and show an attitude as part of the solution to various problems in interaction effectively with the social environment.

Abstract

The dissertation with the title "Management of Infrastructure in Improving the Quality of Vocational High School Graduates" focuses on case studies conducted by Vocational School in an effort to improve the quality of Vocational High School graduates. So far the management of facilities and learning infrastructure that standardized Laboratory of Honda motorcycle business techniques with disadvantages is less running to the maximum that causes the absorption of graduates to the Dudi still low. While the demands of real needs are increasing competitiveness through the quality of graduates who are ready to work, where the output and outcome graduates are priority. The general purpose of this study is to determine and analyze the Management of Facilities and Infrastructure in Improving the Quality of Vocational High School Graduates. The specific objectives to be achieved at the end of this research are: (1). Knowing and explaining the facilities and infrastructure management program in improving the quality of Vocational High School graduates; (2). Implementation of facilities and infrastructure management in improving the quality of Vocational High School graduates; (3). Problems faced in implementing the management of facilities and infrastructure in improving the quality of Vocational High School graduates; (4). Future demands related to the management of facilities and infrastructure in improving the quality of Vocational High School graduates; (5). Future improvement steps in the management of facilities and infrastructure in improving the quality of Vocational High School graduates. In order to get a comprehensive picture of this, research was conducted with a case study approach at Vocational High School Lentera Bangsa 1 Karawang, Vocational High School Lentera Bangsa 2 Karawang and Vocational High School Rismatek Karawang with qualitative methods. Based on the interpretation and analysis of the research results, the general conclusion is that the facilities and infrastructure management program has improved the quality of graduates which has an impact on the quality of graduates who are absorbed in the world of work, including: (1). Facilities and infrastructure management program in improving the quality of Vocational High School graduates who have the knowledge, skills and work ethic in accordance with the demands of the job market; (2). Implementation of management of facilities and infrastructure together carry out learning and assessment together in educating, training and providing qualified and work-ready workforce; (3). Problems encountered related to disproportionate number of industries and lack of practical equipment; (4). Future demands related to collective agreements in producing vocational graduates who are ready to work and competitive according to the demands of DUDI; (5). The next improvement step is to open foreign investment as a step to increase DUDI and complete school facilities and infrastructure.
