Abstract

This research aimed to continue the previous research by describing Arabic language teachers’ lesson plans at MAN 2, MA Muhammadiyah, and MA Al-Umm in Malang, as these lesson plans were affected by the school environment. This research sought to describe the differences in lesson plans designed and implemented by Arabic teachers at the aforesaid schools. This research deployed a qualitative approach and the case study method with multiple case studies. The data were garnered from interviews and documentation. The research results showed differences in planning methods, bases, and sources of learning among these schools, which were caused by differences in the availability of teachers and systems at each school. The teachers planned to teach the Arabic language in MAN 2 based on KMA 183 using the joint method and group technique, while the Arabic language teacher in MA Muhammadiyah planned lessons based on the same report. The Arabic language teacher at MA Al-Umm planned lessons individually based on her own innovations. Therefore, each school should provide a supportive program to improve the competencies of the Arabic language teachers in planning lessons.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana cara meningkatkan kemampuan bahasa arab siswa program funduq araby di pondok pesantren Al-Ihsan Riau serta untuk mengetahui bagaimana cara meningkatkan kualitas guru bahasa arab di pondok pesantren Al-Ihsan Riau. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan analisis deskriptif, metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu observasi. Implementasi program funduq araby untuk meningkatkan kemampuan siswa dalam berbahasa arab di pondok pesantren Al-Ihsan Riau, antara lain: Mengklasifikasikan mahasiswa menjadi beberapa kelompok dan, memilih anggota berdasarkan hasil seleksi, mengimplementasikan program funduq araby di dua gedung yang berbeda, Kemudian setiap gedung ada pengawas, siswa harus melaporkan kosakata setiap hari kepada pengawas dan, sebelum tidur pengawas memberi motivasi kepada para siswa, metode yang digunakan dalam pengajaran yaitu metode langsung, guru memberikan isyarat dengan menggunakan perumpamaan jika terdapat kata-kata yang sulit. Untuk meningkatkan kemampuan bahasa Arab guru dengan cara, guru diberikan kosakata dan contoh kalimat yang berguna untuk digunakan setiap hari, kemudian semua guru harus berkomunikasi dalam bahasa Arab, setiap bulan diadakan kompetisi guru untuk mendukung keterampilan bahasa Arab dan, guru harus menulis semua surat-menyurat dalam bahasa Arab dan seluruh iklan harus ditulis dalam bahasa Arab, guru juga diarahkan untuk membaca situs yang terkait dengan pembelajaran bahasa Arab.

Abstract

One of the informal learning platforms in Arabic learning is learning courses.  The online Arabic course program has a rapid development during the Covid-19 pandemic until now. This wascreated to support Arabic language learning which is carried out at home.  Users of this learning service certainly have quite a lot of enthusiasts. Therefore it certainly has special program management to control the activities that take place in it. This research intends to find out how the management process is in this program and analyze the problems faced. The method used is a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques in the form of interviews, observations, and documentation. The results showed that the management in this course has 4 stages in the form of 1) planning; establishment of programs and materials taught, 2) organization; establishment of course schedules and preparation of evaluations and assessments, 3) implementation; providing motivation and guidance between coaches and teachers, teachers and students, as well as communication related to problems on social media, 4) control; evaluation and refinement of the curriculum used in the course.
