Abstract

ABSTRAKPenggunaan PIR pada GCB single phase dirancang sesuai klasifikasi kelas tegangannya, maka nilai PIR didesain berdasarkan desain GCB. Studi kasus yang dilakukan di PT XYZ yaitu nilai PIR di luar batas toleransi. Tujuan studi kasus ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh PIR terhadap GCB dengan nilai PIR yang tidak memenuhi kriteria, mengetahui elemen resistor diganti DISP dapat dijadikan solusi alternatif yang tepat, dan mengetahui nilai PIR dapat bertambah sehingga melebihi batas toleransi. Pengaruh nilai PIR sesuai kriteria dan melebihi kriteria memiliki perbedaan nilai berdasarkan simulasi PSCAD yaitu arus puncak dengan nilai PIR 417 Ω sebesar 1.1782kA, sedangkan nilai PIR 425 Ω sebesar 1.1589kA saat switch PIR menutup (0.0801s). Penggunaan DISP dapat dijadikan alternatif untuk mengurangi nilai PIR. Nilai PIR yang melebihi kriteria dipengaruhi faktor proses powder metallurgy, pemasangan, dan pengukuran PIR.Kata kunci: Aplikasi PSCAD, DISP Aluminium, GCB, PIR, dan Powder Metallurgy ABSTRACTThe utilization of PIR in the single phase GCB designed according to its voltage classification, therfore the value of PIR is related to the GCB design. A case study observed in XYZ company focused on the out of tolerance PIR value. The main purpose of this observation is to discover the out of criteria PIR value related to the behaviour of the GCB, to find out if the resistor element could be changed with DISP so that it is able to be an alternative solution, and also increase of the PIR value caused out of tolerance after being set. Based on PSCAD simulation, the effect of PIR value according to and out of criteria shown the different result in its peak current between 417Ω and 425Ω, those are 1.1782kA and 1.1589kA respectively when the PIR switch is closed (0.0801s). Utilization of DISP is mostlikely able to be an alternative to reduce the PIR value. The out of criteria PIR value can be influenced by an amount of factor, such as powder metallurgy process, installation, and measurement.Keywords: PSCAD Software, DISP Aluminium, GCB, PIR, and Powder Metallurgy
