Abstract

Komoditi pisang kepok yang memiliki prospek besar karena pisang kepok memiliki pertumbuhan yang cepat dan dapat menghasilkan dalam setahun. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah pemasaran di Desa Aji Kuning akan efisien, karena petani Desa Aji Kuning dibuang untuk menjual produksi ke Tawau. Oleh karena itu, untuk mengetahui saluran pemasaran yang didasarkan pada margin pemasaran dan untuk mengetahui saluran pemasaran berdasarkan pergeseran berbagi. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Desa Aji Kuning Kecamatan Sebatik Tengah Kabupaten Nunukan Tengah. Metode analisis peneliti yang digunakan untuk mengetahui efisiensi biaya pemasaran adalah pola saluran pemasaran Institute, margin pemasaran, dan pergeseran berbagi analisis. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, itu dapat disimpulkan bahwa dalam pemasaran pola pisang kepok ada dua saluran pemasaran di Desa Aji Kuning Kecamatan Sebatik Tengah dan pola yang paling efisien adalah pola Channel II karena pergeseran berbagi efisien dalam penelitian ini adalah pola pemasaran II dengan margin pemasaran Rp.3.200 dan berbagi harga yang diterima oleh petani jumlah 66,67 > 50%. Berbagi pergeseran yang efisien dalam penelitian ini adalah pola pemasaran II karena Ski jumlah 1,95% dan Sbi jumlah 44,6%. Oleh karena itu, dari kedua angka yang dicapai < 50% masing-masing.

Abstract

The agricultural sector is a source of income for residents in Tarakan City, especially SMEs that process agricultural products into various food products. These products are processed with synthetic dyes, which pose a health risk if consumed in excess overtime. Natural dyes from plants can be used to produce safe food products, one of which is Karamunting fruit. This training aims to provide knowledge as well as the practice of processing Karamunting fruit into natural food and beverage coloring. This training is aimed at partner institutions, namely the PKK group from RT 9 and RT 11 Pamusian Village, Central Tarakan District, Tarakan City. This activity is carried out using training and mentoring methods. The method used is the lecture method, with the practice being evaluated with a questionnaire to measure the effectiveness of the activities to increase the knowledge and skills of participants. The results of this activity are that 1) participants have a positive perception of the training provided; 2) participants gain new insights and knowledge about the benefits and efficacy of Karamunting fruit. 3) Participants gain new skills and experience; 4) Participants interested in expanding business opportunities for Karamunting fruit processing.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the efficiency of marketing channels and marketing margins in the coconut. The method used is descriptive and analytical methods margin, distribution margins and share price received by farmers as well as the ratio of benefits and costs in the oil marketing. The results indicated that there were two oil marketing channels in the research sites, namely the channel I: farmer traders village/district – middlemen between districts/cities – consumer: and marketing channels II: farmer – traders village/district – traders collector between districts/cities – retailer – consumer where botk inefficient marketing channels and marketing of coconut in view of the value of margin, distribution margins and share price received by farmers, as well as the ratio of benefits and costs is also inefficient.

Abstract

The rised of the existing food industry was not matched by the increase in the quality of products produced and the level of safety of materials used. So many of us encounter cases of food poisoning, both due to expired products and have been infected with harmful microorganisms or the use of harmful chemical or synthetic substances as food coloring.The study involved several processes and successive stages ranging from material preparation, phytochemical observation of extracts, screening of free radical capture activity, and antioxidant activity test extracts. Phytochemical observations of caramunting fruit extract included examination of phenol, flavonoid, and anthocyanin content. Making the extract is done by maceration.The results showed that the results of phytochemical test of fresh fruit and dried fruit karamunting is; (a) Antocyanin in fresh fruit was 0.65 mg CGE / g DW and dried fruit of 0.5 mg CGE / g DW, (b) total Phenol in fresh fruit was 15.05 mg GAE / g DW and dried fruit of 13.61 mg GAE / g DW, (c) total fresh fruit Flavonoids were 15.15 mg RE / g DW and dried fruit of 13.43 mg RE / g DW. The results of organoleptic tests of commercial syrup beverages and syrup given karamunting fruit extract (karamunting syrup) were (a) the sensory test results indicated that commercial syrup with colorant synthesis of color is preferred (score 6), preferred scent (score 5), preferred taste (score 4.8), preferred viscosity (score 5.6), (b) sensory assay results showed that syrup with karamunting fruit color / karamunting syrup of the color of most of the neutral panelists (score 4.3), as well as the scent (score 4.4), while the taste was favored (score 5.4), viscosity was  alsopreferred(5,4).

Abstract

Technical Efficiency of Coffee Farming in Tana Tidung Regency (KTT). This study aims to know the technical efficiency of a coffee farmin in KTT. This research was conducted in Tana Tidung precisely in the Buang Baru village as the coffee development center. Samples were taken of 30 people who have been producing coffee farmers. the data Analysis used to measure the technical efficiency  was stochastic frontier function with Frontier program 4.1.c.The results showed that the technical efficiency of a coffee farm in KTT was not efficient yet. The value of technical efficiency (ET) average farmer of 0.75 or 75%. Based on the results of the estimation of Stochastic Frontier production function with the MLE method on coffee farming which significantly affect the technical efficiency is negative and coffee farming is the outpouring of labor, the amount of the amount of herbicide and amount of manure. While the efficiency factors that influence real and positive is the amount of KCl. The factors that influence the production inefficiency is the number of family members.

Abstract

Agricultural sector has important role for supporting region’s food security, especially commodities of rice as staple food of most Indonesian. One of the efforts for increasing food plants, especially rice, which has been done by Agricultural Minister in 2007, is by programming Pengelolaan Tanaman Terpadu (integrated management of plant). It is held by the airy school methods in certain area. An indicator of successful SLPTT can be seen in the increased knowledge, skill and behavior, good cultivation, increased productivity and beyond. For SLPTT area, indicator of ups and downs that are stated by government is about 0,3 ton/ha. This research intends to understand the SLPTT rice in the border areas, rice productivity and increased of rice farmers’ income through SLPTT. This research was held in October – November 2013 to the rice farmers who have become attendants of Sekolah Lapang Pengelolaan Tanaman Terpadu (SLPTT) in sub district Sesayap Hilir, district Tana Tidung. The data collection was questionnaire and direct observation. The proposed hypothesis: There are differences of farmers’ income before and after attending SLPTT rice. SPSS 17 program was used for analyzing the proposed hypothesis by Paired sample t-test. The economical analysis was for counting the income levels by counting the total production cost (TC), acceptance (TR) and income (Π). Before SLPTT, the average of harvest productivity was 893 kg/ha GKP, the average of production cost was Rp 4.323.082,00 and the income was Rp 1.096.917,00. After SLPTT program, the respondents have raised their average productivity to 1.270 kg/ha GKP, production cost is Rp 6.041.463,00 and the average income is Rp 1.687.791,00. The result of paired sample t-test and SPSS is got the significance = 0,000 (sig<0,05). It means, Ho is declined and H1 is accepted. It causes the differences between before and after SLPTT program for rice farmers.

Abstract

Ancaman virus Corona jenis baru (SARS-CoV 2) penyebab Coronavirus Disease (Covid-19) masih belum menunjukkan tanda-tanda akan berakhir. Cara lain yang dapat dilakukan menghadapi pandemi ini dengan mengkonsumsi jamu atau simplisia nabati dengan maksud agar daya tahan dan imunitas tubuh meningkat. Namun demikian terbatasnya informasi khususnya dalam menjaga dan meningkatkan imunitas tubuh, maka diperlukan sosialisasi pada masyarakat akan pentingnya imunitas tubuh di masa pandemi ini, salah satunya dengan mengkonsumsi vitamin dan suplemen, misalnya vitamin C yang terdapat pada buah dan mengkonsumsi bahan pangan fungsional, yaitu makanan/minuman yang tidak hanya sekedar mencukupi kebutuhan akan nutrisi saja namun juga dapat memberikan efek terhadap Kesehatan tubuh. Kegiatan ini bertujuan memberikan tambahan pengetahuan dan wawasan tentang Bahan Pangan Potensial Sebagai Imun Booster dan cara mengolahnya sebagai Peluang Usaha di Masa Pandemi Covid-19 yaitu kepada institusi mitra anggota Pusat Kegiatan Belajar Masyarakat (PKBM) Al Marhamah Kota Tarakan. Kegiatan ini dilakukan dengan metode pelatihan dan pendampingan. Adapun hasil dari kegiatan ini berdasarkan kuisioner yang dibagikan kepada peserta pelatihan adalah: 1) Peserta pelatihan memiliki persepsi yang positif terhadap pelatihan yang diberikan; 2) Peserta mendapatkan wawasan dan pengetahuan baru tentang Bahan Pangan Potensial Sebagai Imun Booster dan cara pengolahannya; 3).Peserta mendapatkan ketrampilan dan pengalaman baru setelah mengikuti kegiatan pelatihan ini, hal ini terbukti dengan respon positif peserta yang tertarik untuk membuka peluang usaha dengan mengolah bahan pangan potensial menjadi jamu/minuman serbuk jahe instan.
