Abstract

Throughout the church's history, the debate on Christology has been an important and controversial topic. One is about the Divinity and humanity of Jesus, which has been a long debate in the history of Christianity. Jesus' divinity and humanity are essential because they relate to the foundation of the believer's faith. In addition to the debate about the Christology of Jesus among Christians, there is another debate among the Jews about the person of Jesus himself, namely that Jesus is not the Messiah. Although many biblical texts have been used to defend the issue of Christology, there are still other biblical texts that have not been studied as a basis for discussing the issue. The purpose of this study is to add primary biblical references to the apologetics of Christology. The biblical basis for examining the nature of Godliness and humanity and the Messiahship of Jesus is the Gospel of Mark 9:2-13. The method used is the exegesis method. This method is suitable for finding a clear meaning of the word to be analyzed. The result of this study is that the words Transfigured (metamorphoo) , Son (huios), and Man (anthropos) explain that Jesus is a true man and a true God and as Heir, that is, the anointed Messiah of God.

Abstract

Manusia tidak dapat terlepas dari komunikasi. Dalam tatanan sejarah Alkitab, Allah yang pertama kali berkomunikasi, baik kepada manusia maupun kepada alam. Namun setelah manusia jatuh ke dalam dosa, komunikasi Allah dengan manusia dan alam menjadi rusak. Allah berinisiatif memperbaiki dan puncak dari komunikasi Allah ialah Yesus Kristus. Yesus menjadi salah satu teladan komunikator yang baik. Gereja seyogiyanya meneladani cara Yesus berkomunikasi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini ialah untuk meninjau kembali model komunikasi persuasif yang Yesus gunakan apakah telah memenuhi kaidah teknik-teknik dalam komunikasi persuasif. Kemudian tulisan ini juga bertujuan untuk memaparkan model komunikasi persuasif sebagai model komunikasi dalam pelayanan pastoral. Peneliti menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif non interaktif. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu bahwa komunikasi Yesus memenuhi kaidah komunikasi persuasif berdasarkan teknik asosiasi, integrasi, ganjaran, tataan maupun red-herring. Komunikasi persuasif dalam Yesus juga menjadi contoh bagi komunikasi dalam pelayanan pastoral gereja seperti pelayanan mimbar, pelayanan penginjilan, pelayanan konseling maupun pelayanan melalui media sosial.

Abstract

In modern life, especially in the 21st century, the influence of technological developments is very rapid, including the presence of social media (social media) and it has become a basic need for humanity in the technological era and not to forget the church as a place for people to worship. Every congregation within the church environment has known and used social media for various things including facilitating congregations to read the Bible, electronic hymnbooks and so on. However, it seems that there are still some congregations who are less responsive in using social media wisely. Christian youth in the 21st century, who are the majority of active social media users, seem less aware of this opportunity, so they experience difficulties in preaching the Gospel to others. For this reason, the aim of this research is to provide good knowledge so that Christian youth in the 21st century can utilize social media as a means of preaching the Gospel based on the Great Commission. The method used in this scientific work is a qualitative research method, by means of observation, interviews and documentation. The author chose this type of research because the author wanted to find out why there was a lack of response from Christian youth in the 21st century in utilizing social media as a means of preaching the gospel. The results of this scientific work are to raise awareness of Christian youth regarding the importance of using social media in preaching the Gospel.
