Abstract

The aim of this research to observe and analyze the ability to grow of watermelon seeds in organic and inorganic fertilizers. Observing and analyzing the interaction between the ability to grow of watermelon seeds with plant growth in organic and inorganic fertilizers. Recommend a combination of organic and inorganic fertilizers that provide maximum results. This research was conducted in field of State Polytechnic of Lampung on June until Agustus 2014. This research uses a randomized complete block design (RCBD) with treatment in the form of thiamethoxam, inorganic fertilizers and organic fertilizers, namely: P1 = 0% organic fertilizer + 100% inorganic fertilizer; P2 = 25% organic fertilizer + 75% inorganic fertilizer; P3 = 50% organic fertilizer + 50% inorganic fertilizer; P4 = 75% organic fertilizer + 25% inorganic fertilizer; P5 = 100% organic fertilizer + 0% inorganic fertilizer. Doses of inorganic fertilizers: Urea = 300 kg.ha-1, SP-36 = 200 kg.ha-1, KCl = 100 kg.ha-1. Organic fertilizer: manure (cow manure) = 20 tons.ha-1. Data were analyzed with analysis of variance and if there is a real different treatments followed by LSD test at 5% level. The results showed that organic and inorganic fertilizer application significantly affected fruit length and fruit weight, but did not significantly affect the ability to grow, main stem length and number of leaves. The length of the longest fruit found in the treatment of inorganic fertilizer application of 75% + 25% organic fertilizer (P2). While the weight of the heaviest fruit found in the treatment of organic fertilizer application of 100% (P5). The highest ability to grow plant found in the treatment of 100% inorganic fertilizer application (P1), treatment of inorganic fertilizer application 50% + 50% organic fertilizers (P3), P2 and P5 treatment. The longest length of main stem found in P5 treatment, while the highest number of leaves found in P2 treatment. Keywords: fertilization, organic, inorganic, watermelon

Abstract

The function of plant introductions among others is to obtain new cultivars. After the introduction of plants through the process of adaptation and selection can be used as material crosses with cultivars that have adapted well. A cultivar is said superior when it has a high yield, good fruit quality, resistance to pest attack (plant pests), and able to adapt to various environments grow. The aim of this study was obtain a description, test and compare the yield and quality potential of eight varieties of tomatoes grown in the lowland which are expected to serve as a cross parent material in breeding programs. The experiment was arrange by randomized block design with three replications. The data were analyzed using F-test and the results were significantly midpoint test using LSD test at 5% level. Based on observations on eight strains of local tomatoes and introductions have descripted then selected three strains of tomato introductions which has the form of a round (TM 130804, TM 130805, TM 130806) as well as the introduction of two strains of tomato fruit has an oval shape (TM 130801 and TM 130803 ) that can be used as breeding material further. Abstract

The purpose of this study to determine the role of gibberellins in enhancing the quality of soybean seeds that have experienced deterioration / decline. This research is using a complete randomized group design (RKTL) two factors. The first factor is pengusangan soaking seeds with 20% ethanol. P0 = Without soaking, P1 = Immersion 15 minutes. P2 = Immersion 30 minutes. The second factor is the provision of gibberellins with gibberellin soaking treatment for 2 hours. G0 = without soaking gibberellins, gibberellin soaking G1 = 20 ppm. Each treatment was repeated 3 times. Analysis of data using analysis of variance and to know the difference between treatments, conducted LSD (Least Significant Difference). Each with a real level of 5%. The results are: 1). Application gibberellins showed no recovery of seed deterioration, because pengusangan seeds with ethanol has not shown any significant effect on seed deterioration. 2). Application giberelin the percentage of seed germination and seed vigor percentage lower that 66, 62% and 44.00% compared with that without the application of gibberellins 91.22% and 66.67%, due to the application of gibberellins, sprouts many broke. Might be due to cell division and enlargement of the seed is not offset by the formation of cell walls, so that the cell wall is weak and vulnerable to fractures sprouts 3). Application gibberellins produce a longer hypocotyl length 10.69 cm compared to that without the application of gibberellins that is 7.94 cm. 4). Application gibberellins produce root length is shorter on the 7.73 cm compared to 8.10 cm without the application of gibberellins Keywords: Deterioration, Soybean, Gibberellin

Abstract

Salah satu tujuan pendidikan nasional yang diamanatkan oleh undangundang nomor 20 tahun 2003 tetanng sistem pendidikan nasional yakni mengembangkan potensi peserta didik agar menjadi manusia yang beriman dan bertakwa kepada Tuhan Yang Maha Esa,beraklak mulia, sehat, berilmu, cakap, kreatif, mandiri, dan menjadi warga Negara yang demokratis serta bertanggung jawab.Untuk mewujudkan tujuan pendidikan yang amat mulia ini tidaklah semudah membalikkan telapak tangan, akan tetapi membutuhkan kerjasama yang baik antara semua warga sekolah serta manajemen kepala sekolah yang baik dalam menentukan arah dan tujuan sebuah sekolah dalam membina keimanan dan ketaqwaan serta akhlak dari peserta didiknya.

Abstract

Pemberdayaan merupakan aktivitas membantu sumber daya manusia untuk mendapatkan kekuatan dalam membuat keputusan atau menentukan tindakan yang akan diambil. Hal tersebut dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan atau kompetensi kinerja dan rasa percaya diri dalam menggunakan tenaga yang dimiliki, antara lain dengan cara mentransfer tenaga dari lingkungan. Hakikat pemberdayaan ada pada diri manusia dan faktor eksternal tubuh manusia hanya berfungsi sebagai rangsangan, pemacu munculnya ruh, rasa atau dorongan dalam diri manusia untuk memberdayakan dirinya, mengendalikan dirinya, dan untuk berkembang sendiri berdasarkan potensinya. Madrasah merupakan lembaga pendidikan yang membutuhkan sumber daya manusia yang berkompeten dibidangnya masing-masing untuk mencapai tujuan pendidikan secara kelembagaan. Oleh sebab itu perlu adanya pemberdayaan sumber daya manusia yang lebih baik dan maksimal, agar sumber daya manusia yang ada bisa berperan sesuai dengan tugas pokok dan fungsi masing-masing. Tulisan singkat ini akan mengungkapkan bagaimana pemberdayaan sumber daya manusia di madrasah ibtidaiyah negeri 1 kota Jambi. Metodologi penelitian yang digunakan dalam penulisan artikel ini adalah menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif-naturalistik. Melalui pendekatan kualitatif ini, di harapkan terukap gambaran pemberdayaan SDM Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri Kota Jambi tanpa tercemar oleh pengukuran formal. Pendekatan naturalistik menuntut pengumpulan data pada setting yang alamiah. Dengan konsep tersebut peneliti mengupayakan agar kehadiran peneliti tidak merubah situasi atau perilaku orang yang di teliti.

Abstract

Boarding school is one of the oldest education institution in the national education system. Pesantren functions as a center for the spread of Islam, with a concentration of education in shaping Muslim people with a high understanding of three main problems, namely God, humans, and nature. Regarding its function as an educational institution, the aim of the Pesantren is to form individuals who excel in the field of understanding and practicing Islamic teachings for students or students in their daily lives. therefore it is necessary to have a good management of Pesantren in the development of Islamic religious education. Therefore, through this paper, the author wants to reveal how good management of Islamic boarding schools is in the development of Islamic religious education in the regional office of the Ministry of Religion of Jambi province. To obtain data that supports this article, the author uses a qualitative-naturalistic approach. Through this qualitative approach, it is hoped that a picture of the quality, social reality and perceptions of the research objectives will be exposed without being contaminated by formal measurements. So it can be concluded that there are several obstacles and recommendations for solutions in the management of Pesantren in the development of Islamic religious education in the regional office of the Ministry of Religion of Jambi province.

Abstract

Based on the development program, the goal to be achieved is to shape individuals and communities to become independent. This independence includes the independence of thinking, acting, and controlling what they do. From observations made, there are PKK members who only act as housewives. Though they can earn money to support their family income. As a solution, they need to get proper training conducted by the local government, service programs, or certain other institutions. In line with this PKM activity, there will be training and fostering creativity for PKK members through the use of dried grains into various dried flower creations. This activity was began with communicate by local PKK management. The presentation of the material was done by the method of lectures and discussions. Furthermore, training and practice directly make dried flowers with materials that have been prepared by the service team. To motivate participants to be more creative and uplifting, the dedication team presented a ready-made example. It hopes that participants will gain useful skills and eventually become creative and skilled human beings to increase family income.
