Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penggunaan strategi Problem Based Learning berbantuan Mind Mapping dapat meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa SMA Muhammadiyah Sukabumi tahun ajaran 2019/2020 pada pokok bahasan Statistika. Penelitian tindakan kelas  ini dilakukan di kelas XII IPS Muhammadiyah Sukabumi. Pada siklus pertama pertama belum terlihat peningkatan, disebabkan karena siswa masih belum terbiasa menyelesaikan soal kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis berbantuan Mind Mapping, sedangkan pada siklus II siswa mulai terbiasa menyelesaikan soal kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis berbantuan Mind Mapping dengan baik. Terlihat dari hasil penelitian menunjukan adanya peningkatan terlihat dari rata-rata hasil tes sebesar 53,25 pada siklus I menjadi 72,37 pada siklus II. Hal tersebut bisa dilihat dari pecapaian aktivitas belajar siswa pada siklus I  rata-rata sebesar 54,5, pada siklus II rata-rata sebesar 65,19. Dari hasil pelaksanaan siklus I dan siklus II bisa ditarik kesimpulan penggunaan strategi Problem Based Learning berbantuan Mind Mapping dapat meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa di SMA Muhammadiyah Sukabumi.

Abstract

The study aims to know the effectiveness of mathematics teaching material used based on ethnomathematics toward mathematical solving problem skill and student critical thinking and to know how student activity on mathematics learning by applying mathematics teaching material based on ethnomathematics. Research method applies a quantitative method with post-test only control design research type. Sampling technique applies cluster random sampling. Data collection technique applies documentation, observation, and test method. Data analysis technique applies quantitative data analysis by using t-test. Based on data analysis result, mathematics teaching material based on ethnomathematics proves effective toward solving problem skill and student mathematical critical thinking. Besides, by applying mathematics teaching material can raise student activity.

Abstract

This paper tells about research and development result that has been aplicated into three steps, preliminary, small group trial, and field test. The preliminary steps included analysis of teaching materials; design and develop the teaching materials based problem solving with abductive-deductive strategy; perform validation by fou expert validator; and do the first revision. The small group trials included product trials to the six randomly selected student; and do the second revision. Single one shot case study research design has been used in this step. The field test included product trials to the 15 students that registered as Abstract Algebra lecturing participant at Mathematics Education Program in Muhammadiyah University of Sukabumi. Before-after research design has been used in this step. The instruments that used in this research are observation sheet, validation sheet, interview guide, students’ response scale, performance assessment sheet of teaching materials, and test of students’ mathematical proof ability. Result of this research showed that teaching materials based problem solving with abductive-deductive strategy is a good category. Effectivity of teaching materials usage evaluated by students’ comprehension speed, students’ interested, students’ creativity, and students’ learning outcomes significantly better than learning effectivity without teaching materials. Effectivity of teaching materials usage evaluated by students’ mathematical proof significantly better than learning effectivity without teaching materials. Therefore, teaching materials based problem solving with abductive-deductive strategy has been valid, practice, and effective to use.

Abstract

This study’s is the result of research that aims to develop the Student Worksheet Project Based Learning based Islamic charged in enhancing the ability of understanding the concept. The research was conducted by the Research and Development (R & D) was applied in 10 stages of research. Data collection instruments were used expert assessment form to determine the product validation, evaluation sheets and questionnaires student's teacher to determine the practicality of the product, as well as a test sheet to determine the ability of understanding the concept of product effectiveness. The results of the data analysis Student Worksheet validation assessment by experts to get an average score of 4.29 with high decent criteria. The results of the data analysis Student Worksheet practicability assessment by the teacher to get a score of 4.4 with the criteria very decent and student questionnaire on a small scale and large scale each get a score of 3.33 to 4.06 with the criterion of good and very good criteria. The results of the assessment of effectiveness of data analysis Student Worksheet tests are divided into two groups, namely small-scale test with 20 students and a large-scale test with 40 students. The results of two tests to get a score each, which is the average value of small-scale student 73.44 and an average value of large-scale student 73.75. The average value of student test small scale and large-scale use of the above KKM school is 70.

Abstract

This study’s aim is to find out and describe the types of class X student error IPA 1 SMA Negeri 1 Cisaat as well as solutions to solve student error on linear equation system material three variables. The type of research used in this study was the type of descriptive qualitative research. The location of this research was in SMA Negeri 1 Cisaat. This study took the subject of research as many as four students with the technique of taking the subject by purposive sampling. Data analysis techniques conducted in this research are data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. After the data were analyzed then validated the validity of the data by using technique triangulation, that is by comparing the result of the student's answer on test questions and interview result. The results obtained from this study are the type of concept mistakes made the subject of research on misconceptions reached 32.26%. Then the type of procedural error is a mistake that is often done by the subject of research, procedure error reached 48.39%. Therefore,  the type of error in using the operation or calculation as much as 19.35%.

Abstract

This article discusses the application of Realistic Mathematics Education approaches against the ability of mathematical reasoning and understanding of the students. The purpose of this research is to 1) know the comparison the ability between students who learn to use Realistic mathematics education approach with scientific approach, 2) know the comparative ability of reasoning mathematically between students who learn to use Realistic mathematics education approach with scientific approach, 3) know the difference between the understanding of mathematical concepts and reasoning of students. Data collection techniques was in the form of test result data post test as the learning outcomes of students. The data analysis used t test with two samples and test the correlation with significance level 0.05. As for the results of the analysis of the data shows that the 1) the ability of understanding the concept of students who use Realistic mathematics education approach better than students who use scientific approach, 2) mathematical reasoning ability of students using Realistic mathematics education approach better than students who use scientific approach, 3) there is a connection between the understanding of mathematical concepts and reasoning of students.

Abstract

Guru dituntut untuk menciptakan pembelajaran yang bervariasi, pembelajaran yang bermakna dan diharapkan mampu mengaktifkan siswa. Proses pembelajaran akan berjalan efektiv dan efisien apabila didukung dengan bahan ajar atau alat bantu yang menunjang. Alternatif untuk mencapai hal tersebut yaitu dengan menggunakan LKS yang disesuaikan dengan peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan bahan ajar berupa Lembar Kerja Siswa (LKS) berbasis komik strip dengan metode guided discovery learning pada materi perbandingan trigonometri kelas X yang layak menurut ahli. Penelitian ini menggunakan model penelitian ADDIE yang dikembangkan oleh Lee & Owens dengan tahapannya yaitu analysis (analisis), design (desain) dan development (pengembangan) dan hanya sampai mengukur tingkat validitas dari LKS yang dikembangkan. Hasil analisis data penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata skor persentase validitas menurut ahli materi dan ahli media sebesar 81,7905%. Oleh karena itu, Lembar Kerja Siswa (LKS) berbasis komik strip dengan metode guided discovery learning pada materi perbandingan trigonometri kelas X dinyatakan sangat valid oleh ahli materi dan ahli media.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa yang belajar menggunakan model pembelajaran Attention, Relevance, Confidence, Satisfaction (ARCS) dengan model pembelajaran langsung. Desain penelitian ini adalah Quasi Eksperimentasi dengan Nonequivalent Post-test Only Control Group Desain. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII SMPN 4 Sukabumi sebanyak 320 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel dengan Cluster Random Sampling sehingga didapat 2 kelas Eksperimen dan kelas kontrol dengan masing-masing 37 siswa. Teknik pengambilan data menggunakan wawancara dan observasi serta untuk data yang digunakan adalah data nilai Post-test kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa sebanyak 5 soal uraian materi peluang. Data dianalisis menggunakan statistic deskriptif dan uji t dua sampel. Hasil penelitian menunjukan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa yang belajar menggunakan model pembelajaran Attention, Relevance, Confidence, Satisfaction (ARCS) lebih baik daripada kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa yang belajar menggunakan model pembelajaran langsung. Kesimpulan pada penelitian ini adalah model pembelajaran Attention, Relevance, Confidence, Satisfaction (ARCS) lebih baik daripada model pembelajaran langsung.

Abstract

Abstrak: Masih banyaknya guru yang belum bisa memanfaatkan ICT, khususnya dalam pembuatan administrasi pembelajaran maupun dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran di Taman Kanak-kanak Islam Terpadu (TKIT) Raudhatunnajah Kadudampit, menjadi salah satu hambatan tercapainya tujuan pendidikan di era revolusi industry 4.0. Oleh karena itu, pengabdian pada masyarakat ini dilaksanakan dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan guru TKIT Raudhatunnajah Kadudampit dalam penggunaan aplikasi komputer sebagai penunjang pembelajaran. Hasil yang dicapai berdasarkan indikator ketercapaian program, yaitu a) terlaksanya kegiatan mencapai 100%; b) tingkat kehadiran peserta 100%; c) tingkat partisipasi peserta mencapai 76,67%; d) tingkat pemahaman peserta mencapai 77,5%; dan e) kehadiran narasumber terlaksana yaitu 100%. Oleh karena itu, pelatihan penyusunan administrasi pembelajaran berbasis ICT bagi guru-guru TKIT Raudhatunnajah Kadudampit sudah terlaksana dengan baik.Abstract: There are still many teachers who have not been able to take advantage of ICT, especially in the making of learning administration and in the implementation of learning in the integrated Islamic kindergarten (TKIT) Raudhatunnajah Kadudampit, becoming one of the obstacles in achieving educational goals in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0. Therefore, community service is carried out to improve the skills of TKIT Raudhatunnajah Kadudampit teachers in using computer applications to support learning. The results achieved are based on program achievement indicators, namely a) the implementation of activities reaches 100%; b) 100% attendance rate; c) the participation rate of participants reached 76.67%; d) the level of understanding of the participants reached 77.5%, and e) the attendance of the resource person is 100%. Therefore, training on the preparation of ICT-based learning administration for TKIT Raudhatunnajah Kadudampit teachers has been carried out well.

Abstract

Artikel ini membahas tentang penerapan pendekatan Pendidikan Matematika Realistik terhadap kemampuan pemahaman konsep dan penalaran matematis siswa. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah 1) mengetahui perbandingan kemampuan pemahaman konsep antara siswa yang belajar menggunakan pendekatan Pendidikan Matematika Realistik dengan pendekatan saintifik, 2) mengetahui perbandingan kemampuan penalaran matematis antara siswa yang belajar menggunakan pendekatan Pendidikan Matematika Realistik dengan pendekatan saintifik, 3) mengetahui ada atau tidaknya hubungan antara pemahaman konsep dan penalaran matematis siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu tes berupa hasil data posttest sebagai hasil pembelajaran siswa. Analisis data yang digunakan uji t dua sampel dan uji korelasi dengan taraf signifikansi É‘ = 0,05. Adapun hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa 1) kemampuan pemahaman konsep siswa yang menggunakan pendekatan Pendidikan Matematika Realistik lebih baik dibandingkan siswa yang menggunakan pendekatan saintifik, 2) kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa yang menggunakan pendekatan Pendidikan Matematika Realistik lebih baik dibandingkan siswa yang menggunakan pendekatan saintifik, 3) adanya hubungan antara pemahaman konsep dan penalaran matematis siswa.
