Abstract

Abstrak: Kelompok kerja membutuhkan efektivitas agar dapat memiliki performa yang optimal. Akan tetapi, tidak jarang suatu kelompok tidak dapat mencapai tujuannya dikarenakan kondisi yang terdapat di dalam kelompok. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa efektivitas tim berdasarkan pendekatan team metrics yang dikembangkan oleh Woodcock & Francis (2008). Penelitian dilakukan pada tim outlet muslim fashion retail yang membutuhkan koordinasi dan kerja sama agar dapat mencapai performa kerja yang optimal. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode wawancara yang disusun berdasarkan pendekatan team metrics dan kuesioner team blockage (Woodcock & Francis, 2008). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ditemukan bahwa tim outlet muslim fashion retail memiliki tiga hambatan, yaitu innefective work methods yang berkaitan dengan metode kerja dan prosedur pengambilan keputusan di dalam tim yang belum efektif, unconstructive climate yang terkait dengan iklim kerja yang belum dapat menjembatani perbedaan di dalam tim, dan insufficient openness and confrontation yang menunjukkan kurang terbukanya anggota tim dalam menerima umpan balik. Hambatan-hambatan yang teridentifikasi pada tim dapat menjadi masukan bagi organisasi agar dapat meningkatkan efektivitas tim dan dapat meningkatkan performa tim outlet muslim fashion retail menjadi lebih optimal.

Abstract

Abstract: Islamic Religion-Focused Coping is a strategy as an effort to manage work stress by using religious belief and demonstrating religious behavior in order to prevent or reduce the consequences of work stress. Work stress in companies has become an important issue to observe due to the emergence of demand to be more efficient at work. This research was conducted to describe the Islamic religion-focused coping in garment company employees who experienced work stress. The research design used was quantitative-descriptive method through questionnaire. The participants of this study were 82 employees who went through screening stage with a stress diagnostic survey to measure work stress. The result showed that the most prominent source of stress among 75 employees with work stress at moderate and high levels resulted from group of colleagues. The instrument used was a questionnaire developed by Pargament to examine employee Islamic religion-focused coping. The final result showed that a total of 86% employees used Islamic religion-focused coping in managing their work stress. On its dimension, employees often used religious belief (believing that Allah SWT would help solve every problem) and religious behavior (praying and reciting Al-Quran). Demographic factors in this research also affected how an employee used the coping, namely age development. This indicates that the elder the employees are, the more they use Islamic religion-focused coping to reduce work stress and maintain productivity at work.Keywords: Islamic Religion-Focused Coping; Productivity; Work StressAbstrak: Islamic religion-focused coping merupakan strategi yang berlangsung sebagai bentuk usaha mengelola stres kerja dengan cara menggunakan kepercayaan agama (religious belief) dan melakukan kegiatan keagamaan (religious behavior) untuk mencegah atau mengurangi konsekuensi stres kerja. Masalah stres kerja di dalam perusahaan menjadi gejala yang penting diamati sejak tuntutan untuk lebih efisien di dalam pekerjaan. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk memaparkan Islamic religion-focused coping pada karyawan perusahaan garmen yang mengalami stres kerja. Rancangan penelitian ini yakni metode kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif melalui kuesioner. Partisipan penelitian yakni karyawan sebanyak 82 orang, yang kemudian melalui tahap screening dengan stres diagnostic survey untuk mengukur stres kerja. Didapatkan data sebanyak 75 karyawan yang merasakan stres kerja di taraf moderat dan tinggi, sumber stres yang paling menonjol berasal dari kelompok rekan kerja. Alat ukur yang digunakan yakni kuesioner yang dikembangkan oleh Pargament untuk melihat bagaimana gambaran Islamic religion-focused coping terhadap karyawan. Hasil akhir menunjukkan bahwa sebanyak 86% karyawan menggunakan Islamic religion-focused coping dalam menanggulangi stres kerja yang dialami. Pada dimensinya, karyawan sering menggunakan religious belief (percaya bahwa Allah SWT akan membantu setiap masalah yang datang) dan religious behavior (shalat, berdoa, dan membaca Al-Quran). Faktor demografi pada penelitian ini juga memengaruhi cara seseorang melakukan coping, yaitu perkembangan usia karyawan. Semakin dewasa usia karyawan, semakin sering menggunakan Islamic religion-focused coping untuk mengurangi stres kerja dan menjaga produktivitas saat bekerja.Kata Kunci: Islamic Religion-Focused Coping; Produktivitas; Stres Kerja

Abstract

This study aims to analyze organizational culture at government institution X using OCAI(Organizational Culture Assessment Instrument). The research population is all employees ofGovernment Institution X consisting of groups of rank IV, III and II. Based on the results obtained,the appreciation of the employees who devote themselves to Government Institution X theyappreciate the organization of Government Institution X as an organization with a Hierarchy type.This reflects the existence of a control system management to ensure that procedures,measurement, and monitoring systems are in place to keep processes and performance undercontrol. Focus on coordination, fostering coordination within the organization as well as withexternal work units to obtain accurate cross-border information to carry out its activities. Similarly,expectations for changes in organizational culture in the future, they do not expect changes inorganizational culture, this is felt in the three groups of ranks.Keywords: organizational culture, goverment institution, ocai.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to see the effect of Organizational Employee Relationship onOrganizational Resilience Hotel X in facing a crisis. Every crisis creates a lot of uncertainty for allmembers of the organization, including employees. The focus of this research is to see thedynamics of the relationship between employees and their organizations in dealing with crisesbetter in order to remain resilient during and after the crisis. The sample in this study was n = 48employees of hotel X which were selected by simple random sampling. The results obtained showthat there is an influence of Organizational Employee Resilience on Organizational Resilience.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has made students unable to carry out the teaching and learning process as usual. There are restrictions on physical meetings and the implementation of the emergency curriculum. It creates challenges and learning problems for students. It takes the ability to overcome it or what is known as academic buoyancy. The study aims to examine the role of parents in the academic buoyancy of students undergoing distance learning from the point of view of self-determination theory. Participants in this study were 215 students aged 12-15 years. The measuring tools in this study were the Parents as Social Context Questionnaire and the Academic Buoyancy Scale. The results show that each dimension of parental support and the three dimensions simultaneously have a role in shaping the ability to overcome academic barriers or academic buoyancy in children. The results of this study imply the importance of support from parents in the form of autonomy support, structure and involvement in shaping children's abilities to overcome academic barriers or academic buoyancy.

Abstract

Employability means a set of skills, knowledge, understanding, and personal attributes that make an individual more possible to choose and maintain occupations to be satisfied and successful. The low employability of pedagogy students becomes a concern in this study. This study aims to compare employability between pedagogy students in public universities and private universities. The research design used was quantitative non-experimental. A total of 133 public university pedagogy students and 104 private university pedagogy students participated. The data was obtained using two-stage cluster random sampling technique. Comparison of employability between pedagogy students in public universities and private universities was analyzed using Mann Whitney. The result showed there was a significant difference in employability between pedagogy students in public universities and private universities (p <0.05). Employability prediction based on dimensions sequentially were Generic Skills (91.8%), Career Development Learning (81.3%), Experience (67.3%), Degree Subject Knowledge, Understanding, and Skills (60.6%), and Emotional Intelligence (54%). Employability of pedagogy students in public universities was higher than private universities. This is due to differences in the university quality, namely Raw Input and University Accreditation.  Employability adalah seperangkat keterampilan, pengetahuan, pemahaman, dan atribut pribadi yang lebih memungkinkan seseorang untuk memilih dan mempertahankan pekerjaannya supaya merasa puas dan sukses. Rendahnya employability pada calon guru menjadi inti masalah di penelitian ini. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk membandingkan employability pada mahasiswa keguruan di universitas negeri dan universitas swasta. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah non-eksperimental kuantitatif. Sebanyak 133 mahasiswa keguruan universitas negeri dan 104 mahasiswa keguruan universitas swasta menjadi subjek penelitian. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik two stage cluster random sampling. Employability pada mahasiswa keguruan di universitas negeri dan universitas swasta dibandingkan dengan menggunakan uji Mann Whitney. Hasil yang diperoleh adalah terdapat perbedaan employability yang signifikan antara mahasiswa keguruan di universitas negeri dan universitas swasta (p < 0.05). Prediksi employability berdasarkan dimensi secara berurutan adalah Generic Skills (91.8%), Career Development Learning (81.3%), Experience (67.3%), Degree Subject Knowledge, Understanding, and Skills (60.6%), dan Emotional Intelligence (54%). Employability pada mahasiswa keguruan di universitas negeri lebih tinggi dibanding universitas swasta. Hal ini disebabkan oleh perbedaan mutu universitas, yaitu Raw Input dan akreditasi universitas.

Abstract

Tulisan ini merupakan hasil dari penelitian awal yang dilakukan oleh peneliti tentang Job performance pada pegawai pemerintah di 2 Kabupaten di Sumatera Utara.   Penelitian ini  menganalisis pengaruh iklim organisasi terhadap job performance. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket model rating scale dengan skor yang terentang antara 1 sampai dengan 4. Responden adalah 115 orang  Pegawai Negeri Sipil di Kabupaten Humbahas dan Kabupaten Tobasa. Teknik analisis data menggunakan regresi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan iklim organisasi memiliki pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan terhadap job performance. Penelitian dengan pendekatan kualitatif juga dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode wawancara untuk menggali persepsi  pegawai pemerintah mengenai konsep 3H. Peneliti menemukan bahwa  nilai yang selama ini dianut oleh masyarakat suku Batak yaitu nilai “kekayaan, anak, kehormatan” (Hamoraon, Hagabeon, Hasangapon – 3H) telah dijadikan falsafah dan menjadi cita-cita setiap masyarakat suku Batak secara turun menurun. Peneliti melihat bahwa nilai 3H ini menjadi pendorong bagi semangat kerja masyarakat suku Batak sehingga akhirnya rela bekerja keras demi meraih 3H. Hal ini tentu saja berkontribusi terhadap meningkatnya job performance secara khusus dimensi contextual performance Pegawai Negeri Sipil Kata kunci: iklim organisasi, job performance, cultural value, suku BatakAbstractThis is a preliminary research about job performance on government office in the District of North Sumatera. This research was conducted at 2 regency in North Sumatra, that is Humbahas and Samosir. This study also analyzes the influence of organization climate on job performance. A climate organization and  job performance questionnaire were used as measuring instruments with a score between 1 and 4. The respondents were 115 people. Data were analyzed using regression. The results showed that organizational climate had a positive and significant effect on job performance. Researchers also found that the value of  Bataknese people which is "wealth, children, honor" (Hamoraon, Hagabeon, Hasangapon - 3H) was used as the philosophy and the ideals of any society from one generation to the Bataknese. The researchers noticed that the this value  become a booster to work hard in order to achieve 3H. This might be have a contribution to the increase of  job performance specially in government employees’s contextual performance. Keywords: climate organization, job performance, cultural value, Bataknice

Abstract

Abstrak. Upaya dalam mewujudkan guru sebagai pembelajar dalam menyikapi perubahan akan tuntutan pendidikan dan kemajuan zaman membuat harus adanya upaya dari lingkungan, yaitu sekolah maupun dari dalam diri guru yang akan bersinergi untuk muwujudkan guru sebagai pembelajar. Upaya sekolah dalam mendukung pembelajaran guru di sekolah dapat dijelaskan dengan teori Teacher Learning Climate dari Marsick dan Watkins (2003). Tujuan penelitian ini adalah memberikan gambaran mengenai Teacher Learning Climate yang dapat dibangun pada guru SMP Negeri di Kota Bandung. Penelitian ini dilakukan kepada 109 guru yang aktif mengajar pada SMP Negeri di Kota Bandung. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah non-eksperimental kuantitatif. Pengambilan data dilakukan menggunakan kuesioner Teacher Learning Climate. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan kuesioner, kemudian diolah secara statistik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Teacher Learning Climate pada guru di kota Bandung dapat dibangun melalui Kolaborasi dan Kepemimpinan yang menunjang dari Sekolah. Upaya meningkatkannya melalui forum komunikasi guru dan adanya kepemimpinan yang efektif dari sekolah akan meningkatkan Teacher Learning Climate pada Sekolah Menengah Pertama Negeri di Kota Bandung. Dengan peningkatan Teacher Learning Climate, maka hal ini akan meningkatkan kualitas guru pengajar yang akan meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan secara umum.Kata kunci: Teacher Learning Climate, Guru, Sekolah Menengah PertamaAbstract. We needs efforts in realizing the teacher as a long-life learner in dealing with various changes will demand knowledge improvement and advancement to make them survive and will perform as well as government expected. School and their learning environment should be synergized to make a teacher as a long-life learner. School efforts in supporting teacher learning in schools can be explained by Teacher Learning Climate theory from Marsick and Watkins (2003). The purpose of this study is to provide an overview of teacher learning climate that can be built at Junior High School in Bandung. This study was conducted to 109 teachers who actively teach at Junior High School in Bandung. The research design used non-experimental quantitative. Data were collected using Teacher Learning Climate questionnaire, then processed statistically. The results showed that Teacher Learning Climate at Junior High School in Bandung city can be built from Collaboration and Leadership at School. Some efforts to improve it through teacher communication forums and the effective leadership at schools will improve Teacher Learning Climate at Junior High School in Bandung. Abstract

Sebagai dampak dari perkembangan dunia kerja yang semakin fleksibel, individu dituntut untuk memiliki kemampuan adaptasi dalam konteks karier yang disebut dengan career adaptability. Career Adapt-Ability Scale merupakan alat ukur yang disusun oleh Savickas & Porfeli ditujukan untuk mengukur career adaptability. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi properti psikometri Career Adapt-Ability Scale yang telah diadaptasi ke Bahasa Indonesia. Subjek penelitian ini berjumlah 121 orang dengan rentang usia 14 – 17 tahun. Penelitian ini dibagi ke dalam dua tahapan: Pertama, melakukan uji reliabilitas melalui internal consistency dengan mengevaluasi nilai koefisien Cronbach’s alpha dan melalui analisis item discrimination dengan mengevaluasi nilai corrected-item total correlation pada masing-masing item. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa alat ukur CAAS dapat diandalkan dan memiliki reliabilitas yang baik (alfa = 0,746 – 0,923). Kedua, menguji validitas konstruk menggunakan confirmatory factor analysis, hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa data yang ada sesuai dengan model teori career adaptability dan setiap item pada alat ukur CAAS terbukti signifikan dalam mengukur dimensinya pada konstruk career adaptability. Dengan demikian, disimpulkan bahwa alat ukur CAAS ini dapat diandalkan untuk mengukur career adaptability

Abstract

Employee performance is critical to the overall success of the company. In achieving their goals, companies will face many challenges. This can be overcome in several ways, one of which is by improving employee performance. Therefore, it is important to measure the role performance of employee in Indonesia. Work role performance scale was first delevoped in Australia in 2007 and have not been adapted for Indonesian population. This study intends to evaluate the validity and the reliability of the Indonesian version of work role performance scale. Aiken’s V formula was used to evaluate the content validity of the scale. Both CTT and Rasch analysis were employed to evaluate the reliability of the scale. Participants in this study were employees, with a total of 370 (n = 370), collected by using accidental sampling techniques. The results showed Aiken’s V of 0.87 to 0.91 shows that items of the adapted scale were relevant to measure the construct. The adapted scale was found reliable with Cronbach’s alpha of 0.936 and Rasch’s person and item reliability were 0.87 and 0.98. In CFA results, the model fit was acceptable (RMSEA=0.08 and CFI=0.96) shows that the data fit the hypoteshized model.
