Abstract

This research is a Classroom Action Research that aims to find out how the problem-based learning steps so as to develop the student's character values. The subjects of this study were students of Class XI IPA 3 SMA Negeri 1 Parepare with 39 students. This research was conducted in two cycles, each cycle consisting of planning, implementation, observation / evaluation, and reflection. Each cycle consists of four meetings, three meetings for teaching and learning and one evaluation meeting. Data collection was done by using observation sheet of student activity/activity, observation sheet of student character and student character questionnaire and analyzed qualitatively. Based on the results of descriptive statistical analysis for student learning outcomes on the show that the cycle I obtained an average value of 67.02 whereas in cycle II obtained an average value of 75.61. Questionnaires and observation sheets are used to observe the character development of students. By applying the steps of the problem-based learning model, the character of the student develops based on the observation result and student character questionnaire which increases from cycle I to cycle II.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilakukan dengan tujuan memperbaiki mutu praktik pembelajaran di kelas dengan penerapan model pembelajaran MURDER. Subjek penelitian ini siswa kelas XI IPA5 tahun pelajaran 2014/2015 dengan jumlah siswa 43 orang. Jenis data yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini adalah data kualitatif dan kuantitaif. Data kualitatif diperoleh dari observasi dan pemberian angket, sementara data kuantitatif diperoleh dari tes hasil belajar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan persentase ketuntasan prestasi belajar siswa, yaitu dimana pada siklus I ada 19 siswa nilainya tidak tuntas dengan persentase 44% ,dan siswa yang tuntas ada 24 siswa dengan persentase 56% dan pada siklus II mengalami peningkatan siswa yang tuntas. dan mengalami penurunan siswa yang tidak tuntas. Siswa yang tuntas ada 39 siswa dengan persentase 91%, siswa yang tidak tuntas ada 4 siswa dengan persentase 9%.   Kata kunci: Penelitian Tindakan Kelas, Pembelajaran MURDER, dan Hasil Belajar

Abstract

The research is Classroom Action Research, which aims to improve basic chemistry student learning outcomes with the application of Treffinger's learning model with the help of audio visual media on colloidal system materials. Data collection techniques can be done with an observation sheet of student learning activities and evaluation at the end of each cycle. The collected data is analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis. The results showed that the application of Active Knowledge Sharing strategy with Buzz Group method can improve basic chemistry learning outcomes in STKIP PI Makassar students which is characterized by an increase in the average learning outcome of cycle I students by 63.33 and cycle II by 72.67 and an increase in the completion of learning outcomes in cycle I which is 9 people or 22.5% and cycle II 35 people or 87.5%.

Abstract

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, lectures must be conducted online. This research is a survey research to find out the perception of students in participating in online learning. Survey of Musamus University students in 6 faculties with a total of 262 respondents. Respondents were selected by proportionate stratified random sampling. The instrument used is a questionnaire made in google form with a total of 21 questions. Data analysis was carried out by calculating the percentage of each answer for each question item. Through this research, the results obtained are (1) Students realize online learning is a learning solution during the Covid-19 pandemic; (2) Students are happy with participating in online learning; (3) Students are enthusiastic to complete assignments; (4) Students realize that through the assignment of lecturers their knowledge is increasing; (5) Students find online learning beneficial for them; (6) Students have mastered the use of online learning platforms; (7) Students hope that online learning will no longer be carried out in the future. Students also prefer face-to-face learning compared to blended learning and online learning, but some students have realized that the blended learning model is an alternative in learning that can be applied in the future

Abstract

Determination of suitability test on digital mammography have been conducted from 2016-2018 at a hospital in Makassar City using voltage accuracy parameter. This measurement was used detector, and X-ray multimeter. Statistically, voltage accuracy parameter has correlation value, r = 0.866 (perfect correlation). While the p value obtained in voltage accuracy parameter is p < 0.05. There are significant differences in value from 2016-2018. The result of the suitability test for voltage accuracy parameter is still within the tolerance limit as recommended by the IAEA.

Abstract

Penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen semu yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh strategi pembelajaran induktif berbasis masalah terhadap motivasi dan hasil belajar mahasiswa. Populasi dalam penelitian adalah adalah mahasiswa program studi pendidikan biologi yang sedang menempuh mata kuliah penilaian hasil belajar biologi pada semester genap (VI) tahun akademik 2016/2017. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik random kelas (Class Random Sampling). Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah pretest-postest control group design. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan pemberian angket untuk motivasi belajar dan pretest-postest untuk hasil belajar kognitif. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis statistik deskriptif dan inferensial. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan statistik inferensial. Hasil analisis menunjukkan nilai rata-rata hasil belajar kelas eksperimen 79,27 dan kelas kontrol 73,03 dengan standar deviasi berturut-turut adalah 7,46 dan 9,95. Hasil pengujian hipotesis menggunakan Independent Samples T-test melalui program SPSS for Windows 20, diperoleh nilai signifikan 0.033. Nilai signifikan 0.000 < α= 0,05 maka H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa strategi pembelajaran induktif berbasis masalah berpengaruh positif terhadap motivasi dan hasil belajar mahasiswa mata kuliah penilaian pembelajaran biologi Program Studi Pendidikan Biologi STKIP-PI Makassar.Kata kunci:  Strategi pembelajaran induktif berbasis masalah, motivasi, hasil belajar

Abstract

This research was quasi experimental with the purpose to determine the influence of using study journal toward study outcome of biology education students of STKIP-PI Makassar in lesson plan course. The research design is prestest-posttest control group design. The populations were students of Biology Education Program who conducting lesson plan of biologi subject in even semester (VI) of academic year 2017/2018. This research used random sampling technique to chose a control and an experimental class. The data collected by pretest and posttest. The data was collected analyzed by using descriptive and inferential statistic. The result showed that the average score of experimental class is 80,42 and control class is 75,33, standard deviation are 8,03 and 9,67. The result of hypotheses testing use Independent Samples T-test with SPSS for windows 20 program to get significance value is 0,03. The significance value 0,003 < α= 0,05, so H0 was rejected and H1 was accepted. It is showed that using study journal give positive influence to study outcome of biology education students of STKIP-PI Makassar in lesson plan course.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (Classroom Action Research) yang bertujuan menerapkan model pembelajaran kimia Berbasis Concept Mapping Dipadu Teams Games Tournament untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar kimia dasar mahasiswa STKIP PI Makassar. Adapun subjek penelitian adalah mahasiswa kelas I A, berjumlah 35 mahasiswa. Pelaksanaan ini dilaksanakan dua siklus, dimana setiap siklusnya terdiri dari tiga kali pertemuan dan satu pertemuan evaluasi. Dari hasil kegiatan pembelajaran yang telah dilakukan terjadi peningkatan kategori hasil belajar mahasiswa, pada siklus I berada pada kategori sedang yaitu 10 orang mahasiswa atau 28,58% dan meningkat di siklus II pada kategori tinggi yaitu 22 orang mahasiswa atau 62,86%, terjadi peningkatan rata-rata hasil belajar mahasiswa yaitu pada siklus I 54,14 dan meningkat pada siklus II menjadi 75,43. Serta peningkatan ketuntasan belajar mahasiswa pada siklus I yaitu 11 orang atau 47.14 dan meningkat pada siklus II menjadi yaitu 31 orang 88,57%. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran kimia berbasis Concept Mapping dipadu Teams Games Tournament dapat meningkatkan hasil Belajar kimia dasar mahasiswa STKIP PI Makassar.
