Abstract

The research aims to determine the effect of using cooperative learning model type STAD on learning science to students’ performance in rational thinking skills and learning outcome. The point of view of this influence is seen from the presence or absence of improvement rational thinking skills activity of cognitive learning outcomes after treatment. The research used experimental method with the design One Shot Case Study and took place in SMPN 3 Gorontalo. The data obtained were students’ performance in rational thinking skill and learning outcome gathered by observation sheet of students’ activity and test sheet. The result show that increase in average score of students’ performance in rational thinking in the third meeting compared to the first meeting by indicators of information digging, information processing, problem solving, and conclusion formulating. The overall result shows that the students’ performance in rational thinking skills achieves good criteria; additionally, the students’ learning outcomes achieve average score of 83.81, categorized as B (good).Penelitian ini bertujuan melihat pengaruh penggunaan model kooperatif tipe STAD pada pembelajaran IPA terhadap kecakapan berfikir rasional dan hasil belajar kognitif siswa. Pengaruh ini dilihat dari ada atau tidaknya peningkatan aktivitas kecakapan berfikir rasional dan hasil belajar kognitif siswa setelah diberikan perlakuan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan desain One Shot Case Study yang dilaksanakan di SMP Negeri 3 Gorontalo. Data yang diperoleh berupa aktivitas kecakapan berfikir rasional siswa dan hasil belajar kognitif yang dijaring dengan menggunakan lembar pengamatan aktivitas siswa dan lembar tes. Hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan terjadi peningkatan rerata skor aktivitas siswa untuk kecakapan berfikir rasional pada pertemuan ketiga bila dibandingkan dengan pertemuan pertama untuk masing-masing indikator menggali informasi, mengolah informasi, memecahkan masalah dan membuat kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian secara keseluruhan menunjukkan perolehan dengan kriteria sangat baik untuk kecakapan berfikir rasional siswa, dan untuk hasil belajar kognitif siswa diperoleh rerata skor sebesar 83.81 dengan predikat B (baik).

Abstract

Telah disintesis Nanopartikel Besi (III) Oksida (Fe2O3) yang menggunakan Salt-Assisted Combustion Method (SACM) dengan FeSO4.7H2O (merck), HO(C2H4O)nH/polietilen glikol (PEG-4000) dan KCl yang masing-masing berfungsi oksidator, bahan bakar dan garam. Produk yang terbentuk kemudian diuji dengan menggunakan X-ray Difractometer (XRD) untuk mengetahui susunan atom-atom dalam suatu kristalin sehingga diketahui struktur, orientasi dan ukuran kristal, serta spektroskopi FTIR untuk mengetahui adanya ikatan logam-oksigen pada produk yang dihasilkan melalui vibrasi molekul dengan adanya pita penyerapan pada frekuensi tertentu. Hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan terdapat fasa kristal nanopartikel Fe2O3 termasuk didalamnya fasa β-Fe2O3 dan α-Fe2O3 (hematite) meskipun masih terdapat impurities (pengotor), serta variasi molar FeSO4/PEG-4000 yang menyebabkan ada perubahan ukuran diameter kristal nanopartikel Fe2O3 yang dihasilkan dari sebesar 44,706 nm menjadi 42,872 nm. Hasil FTIR menunjukkan munculnya pita serapan spesifik pada bilangan gelombang 509 cm-1 yang menyatakan vibrasi Fe-O stretching yang berasal dari ikatan dalam molekul Fe2O3, serta penyerapan α-Fe2O3terjadi pada daerah bilangan gelombang 3379 cm-1, 1612 cm-1, 633 cm-1 dan 509 cm-1, yang mana puncak pada daerah 633 cm-1 dan 509 cm-1 sesuai dengan mode fibrasi logam-oksigen dan nilai-nilai frekuensi logam-oksigen untuk α-Fe2O3 sesuai dengan literatur.

Abstract

This study aims to obtain an effective STAD cooperative model physics learning tool to improve high school student learning outcomes on Static Fluid material. This research refers to the Kemp's development model. The results showed that the results of the development of physics learning tools were feasible for use in high school physics learning with the following results: The syllabus got a score of 3.49 (valid), the learning implementation plan got a score of 3.31 (valid), the student teaching materials got a score of 3, 46 (valid), student worksheets get a score of 3.33 (valid).

Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran yang bertujuan untuk menghasilkan perangkat pembelajaran yang berkualitas. Rumusan masalah penelitian ini adalah bagaimana kualitas perangkat pembelajaran yang dikembangkan dengan model pembelajaran Team Based Learning. Perangkat pembelajaran ini dikembangan dengan menggunakan model pengembangan Plomp. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu dengan validitas melalui validasi perangkat, kepraktisan melalui observasi keterlaksanaan, angket respon guru dan peserta peserta didik. Dari penelitian ini diperoleh hasil: (1) perangkat yang dikembangkan valid melalui uji validitas konstruk dengan rata-rata persentase validitas untuk silabus sebesar 98,33% dengan kategori valid, RPP sebesar 78,48% termasuk kategori valid dengan revisi kecil, bahan ajar sebesar 79,68% termasuk kategori valid dengan revisi kecil, dan LKPD sebesar 76,04% yang termasuk dalam kategori valid dengan revisi kecil; (2) perangkat yang dikembangkan praktis ditunjukkan oleh rata-rata presentase keterlaksanaan pembelajaran sebesar 92,26% kategori sangat baik, kemudian respon guru terhadap perangkat pembelajaran yang dikembangkan sebesar 99,39% kategori sangat baik serta respon peserta didik terhadap proses pembelajaran menggunakan perangkat yang dikembangkan sebesar 82,66% kategori baik. Kata kunci: Perangkat pembelajaran; Team Based Learning; Problem Solving; Plomp. ABSTRACTThis research is research and development of learning tools that aim to produce quality learning tools. The formulation of the research problem is how the quality of learning tools developed with the Team-Based Learning learning model is. This learning device was developed using the Plomp development model. Data collection techniques are valid through device validation, practicality through implementation observation, teacher and student response questionnaires. From this study obtained results: (1) devices developed valid through construct validity tests with an average percentage validity for syllabus of 98.33% with valid categories, RPP of 78.48% including valid categories with small revisions, teaching materials of 79.68% including valid categories with minor revisions, and LKPD of 76.04% which fall into valid categories with minor revisions; (2) devices developed practically indicated by an average percentage of learning implementation of 92.26% excellent category, then teacher response to learning devices developed by 99.39% excellent category and learners' response to the learning process using developed devices by 82.66% good category. Keywords: Learning tools; Team-Based Learning; Problem Solving; Plomp.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini dilakukan disekolah SMA Negeri 4 Gorontalo dan bertujuan untuk menghasilkan perangkat pembelajaran yang berkualitas dengan menggunakan model Team Based Learning pada proses pembelajaran daring. Perangkat pembelajaran dikembangkan menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE. Hasil penelitian terhadap perangkat menunjukan bahwa perangkat tersersebut berkualitas. Perangkat pembelajaran ini valid untuk digunakan dengan sedikit revisi Hal ini dapat dilihat berdarkan rata-rata hasil validasi dengan nilai 3,0-3,4. Efektivitas perangkat pembelajaran dapat dilihat dengan peningkatan hasil belajar siswa yang terdiri dari ranah kognitif pada pertemuan satu sampai pertemuan ketiga diperoleh N Gain iRat 0,66, 0,59, 0,51 dengan kriteria N Gain Sedang,  pada tRat diperoleh N Gain 0,7, 0,66, dan 0,61 untuk ranah sikap dengan rata-rata persentase sebesar 80,44%, serta rata-rata persentase ranah keterampilan sebesar 80,17%, dan hasil pengamatan aktivitas peserta didik selama tiga kali pertemuan yaitu sebesar 81,85% dengan kriteria sangat baik. Perangkat pembelajaran dikatakan praktis dilihat berdasarkan rata-rata hasil persentase keterlaksanaan selama tiga kali pertemuan yaitu sebesar  95%,  serta hasil angket respon guru dan peserta didik terkait perangkat pembelajaran pada proses pembelajaran daring mendapatkan respon positif. Kata kunci: hasil belajar; perangkat pembelajaran; team based learning. ABSTRACTThis research was conducted at Gorontalo State High School 4 and aims to produce quality learning tools using the Team Based Learning model in the online learning process. Learning tools are developed using the ADDIE development model. The results of research on the device showed that the device was of quality. Learning devices are said to be valid for use with a slight revision this can be seen based on the average validation result with a value of 3.0-3.4. The effectiveness of learning devices can be seen by the improvement of student learning outcomes consisting of cognitive realms at meetings one to the third meeting obtained N Gain iRat 0.66, 0.59, 0.51 with the criteria N Medium Gain, on tRat obtained N Gain 0.7, 0.66, and 0.61 for the realm of attitude with an average percentage of 80.44%, as well as an average skill realm percentage of 80.17%,  and the results of observation of student activities during three meetings, namely 81.85% with excellent criteria. The learning device is said to be practically seen based on the average results of the percentage of implementation during three meetings, which is 95%, as well as the results of teacher and student response questionnaires related to learning devices in the online learning process get a positive response. Keywords: learning outcomes; learning devices; team based learning.

Abstract

This research aims to investigate clay silt reserve in brick farmer area. This research applies geoelectricity by using Schlumberger configuration conducted by doing injection of electric current with low frequency to surface of earth. Value of resistance will bring information about structure and materials across by it.Research site is in four stations and based on the geographical location in the station I at coordinate N 00 ° 35'43.7 ", E 123 ° 03'41.6" directed to east west, station 2 in coordinate N 00 ° 35'43.8 ", E 123 o 03'41.4 "directed to north south, station 3 in coordinate N 00 ° 35'42.4", E 123 ° 03'41.5 "directed to north south and station 4 in coordinate N 00 ° 35'45.4", E 123 ° 03 '42 .1 "directed to south north. Research finding reveals that depth or density of clay silt ie in S1 is 8 m, in S2 is 2.5 m, in S3 is 7 m while in S4 is 8,5 m. Density in S2 is the thinnest is the river thinnest gravel and sand are found there. Then, based on the four points after straight line is drawn, it shapes geometry which makes the volume of clay silt reserve can be calculated. And based on finding of measurement and calculation, it obtains volume of clay silt reserve in the village of Dulohupa for 15000 m3.

Abstract

This study aims to discover the influence of the Microsoft Teams implementation on students' problem-solving ability by using a problem-based learning model on the harmonic motion topic. This research is conducted in the odd semester of the 2020/2021 academic year. This study applies the experimental method. The study takes place at SMA Negeri 1 Popayato in grade XI with research subjects are XI IPA 1 graders amounted to 20 students’ and XI IPA 3 graders amounted to 20 students. The data collection uses were the assessment of students' test results. However, the data analysis in this study uses the t-test. Based on the hypothesis test, it is obtained that  8.340 greater than  2.024 with a significance level of α = 0.05, then Ho was rejected and H1 was accepted, so it can be concluded that there is a significant effect on students' problem-solving abilities using Microsoft Teams on the Problem Based Learning model.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the significant effect of WhatsApp based on Google Classroom and Google Meet with the implementation of the inquiry learning model in physics learning on student learning outcomes. The research was conducted during the Covid-19 pandemic with a DARING learning process, the method used was the pre-experimental method with one group pretest-posttest design. This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 1 Suwawa in the academic year 2020/2021 using saturated sampling technique and random selection of classes, obtained by students of class XI IPA 1 as an experimental class, class XI IPA 3 as replication class 1, XI IPA 4 as class replication 2 and class XI IPA 2 as replication class 3. The research instrument is in the form of an essay test of 8 numbers on the Dynamics of Rotation and Sturdy Object Balance with a KKM of 73. Based on the results of hypothesis testing, it is known that the t value for each experimental class is replication class 1, replication class 2, and replication class 3 are 4.16, 3.089. , 3.19, 3.386 greater than t table 1.705, 1.739, 1.71, 1.72, it can be concluded that there is a significant positive effect of treatment. Based on the analysis of the N-Gain and the effect size, the N-Gain value for the four classes, respectively, is 0.61, 0.59.0.59, and 0.62 in the medium category, for the effect size value is 1.9 with strong effect interpretation. This shows that there is consistency in the treatment given to student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This experiment aimed to measurenment of the electricity and dielectric characteristic of onion (Allium cepa). In this study, the onion have been done through the variation of frequency and temperature. The frequency was setup in 30 different values from 100 Hz -1 MHz with the temperature are from 26 0 C up to 40 0C with each increase of 2 0C. The measurement was performed on AC current in 1 kHz and input voltage is one volt. The ions through to the membrane was measured as a conductance value by using LCRmeter that connected with two pieces of AgCl electrodes on both side of the membrane. Beside that, the conductance (G) was measured by the variation temperature of the solution. The results based on the electric characteristics variation of the frequency shows that the electricity of the onion membrane from the conductance itself is tend to increase and the capacitance is decrease due to increasing of the frequency. However, the conductance and the capacitance of the soaked onion membrane is increase doe to increase of the temperature than the original onion membrane. In adddition, the increasing of conductance to temperature was plotted on ln G to 1/T curve. The slope or gradient of the curve is used to determine the change of the self-energy of the membrane and its pore radius. Self-energy of ion which obtained from non-washed and washed and soaked (with distilled water) membrane is respectively 7,66967 x 10-21 J or  0,04787 eV dan 1,2156 x 10-19 J or  0,7869 eV ( 1 joule = 6,2415 x 1018 eV) and the average of pore membrane radius is 2,00 x 10-9 meter (2,00 nm) and 1,26 10-10 meter (0,126 nm). Based on the results the onion membrane could be a good membrane for established the electrisity anf the dielectricity.

Abstract

The learning process carried out online today is still less effective, which makes it difficult for students to understand the material and concepts being taught. The purpose of this study was to find out how effective the use of team-based learning-inquiry devices is in online learning with WhatsApp assisted and zoom meetings. The research was conducted at SMAN 1 Telaga Biru, and class X MIPA3 was selected as the research sample using simple random sampling. The results showed that the average percentage of student activity for four meetings after being implemented in team-based learning-inquiry tools reached 86.60%, with high criteria. In addition, there was an increase in student learning outcomes in the cognitive domain individually at the first and second meetings with an N-gain score of 0.71 and for the third and fourth meetings with an N-gain score of 0.74. In the cognitive domain as a group, at the first and second meetings, they achieved an N-gain score of 0.95, and at the third and fourth meetings, they obtained an N-gain of 1. The average student learning outcomes for the affective and psychomotor domains during the four meetings reached 86.60% and 86.61%, with a high category. This study concludes that the physics learning device developed with the team-based learning model is effective in increasing students' activities and learning outcomes in physics.
