Abstract

Concrete has high compressive strength that is capable of supporting a large and heavy structures. But concrete has a low tension strength and brittle nature (Brittle). The weakness of this concrete properties can be improved by providing treatment such as provide fiber. There are several fibers that can be used to improve the properties of concrete and one of them is the steel fibers. Steel fibers possess the strength and modulus of elasticity which is relatively high. Moreover steel fibers do not change the shape of the influence of alkali in the cement. Imposition in a long period o f time does not affect the mechanical properties of steel fiber. Bond in the composition of the mixture can be increased because fastening mechanically. The study used the steel shavings and fiber materials Harex SF. The aim of this examination was intended to determine the coefficient of concrete fiber orientation at the same time the value of flexural tension strength of concrete produced in the concrete mix wearing Harex SF fiber or steel shavings. Steel fiber used in this study using the percentage of 1 until 4 percent of the weight of the concrete mix and perform quality control for the split tension strength of concrete at 28 days. From this research, the percentage of 3 percent as the optimum value based on the ease of doing the concrete (workability) used for research flexural tension strength of concrete and fiber orientation coefficient of concrete in the concrete with steel shavings and concrete with fibers Harex SF. From the testing that has been done shows: flexural tension strength fiber-reinforced concrete Harex SF 3 percent of 5,037 MPa and flexural tension strength of concrete with steel shavings of 11,035 MPa and the coefficient offiber direction concrete well with fiber Harex SF and shavings o f steel both are between 0 and 1 (0 less than or equal to eta of phi less than or equal to 1) with an average value close to 0, which means both fibers are working properly so that is proven to increase the tension strength offlexural concrete.

Abstract

The objectives of this research is to evaluate the physical and mechanical properties of particle board made from sengon and mangium woods treated with cold water immersion. Particles of sengon and mangium immersed in cold water for 24 hours. The particles of sengon and mangium are combined with a ratio of 100: 0; 0: 100; 75:25; and 50:50. Particle boards are made in size (30x30x0,9) cm3 with target densities of 0.7 g cm-3. The particle board was binded with methylene diphenyl diisocyanate (MDI) adhesive at 10% content and hot press at 140 °C with 25 kgf cm-2 for 7 minutes. The physical and mechanical properties of particle board are evaluated according to JIS A 5908-2003 standard. The physical and mechanical properties of particle board were much affected by particle combination and cold water immersion treatment. The physical (i.e density, moisture content, water absorption (WA), and thickness swelling (TS)) and mechanical properties (ie. modulus of elasticity (MOE), modulus of rupture (MOR), and internal bonding (IB)) were evaluated. The results showed that cold water immersion improved dimensional stability (WA and TS) of particle board obtained. Abstract

Filantropi cilik Sekolah Dasar Muhammadiyah Plus Salatiga mengajak untuk terus mengajarkan dan mengetuk hati siswa-siswinya agar mau beribadah sosial dan menyadarkan akan arti pentingnya membantu sesama. Pengambilan segmen cilik dikarenakan segmen anak-anak yang menjadi tujuan. Filantropi Cilik mengambil segmen siswa sekolah Amal Usaha Muhammadiyah yaitu Sekolah Dasar Muhammadiyah Plus Salatiga. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa Sekolah Dasar Muhammadiyah Plus Salatiga. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu menggunakan metode wawancara siswa/ siswi, guru, dan pengurus Lazismu Salatiga dengan menggunakan teknik simak dan catat. Sementara data pada penelitian ini berupa hasil wawancara. Fokus penelitian ini pada bagaimana Bermuhammadiyah melalui Spiritual Amal Saleh Filantropi Cilik Lazismu dengan bertumpu pada literatur fungsi bahasa.

Abstract

biodegradable polymer such as PVA is considered the most promising candidates for developing the sustainable sticker. The objective of this study was to determine the most suitable PVA + TS blends as adhesives agent for AMF spores inoculation via seed coating which can enhance the spores viability and their beneficial properties in maize. The polythene bag experiment was performed in a screen house of the Department of Plant Protection Faculty of Agriculture, University of Bengkulu Indonesia in 2015. Six adhesive blends were employed: 100% PVA + 0% TS, 75% PVA + 25% TS, 50% PVA + 50% TS, 25% PVA + 75% TS, 0% PVA + 100% TS, and no coating. The six experimental treatments were laid out in a completely randomized design with three replications. The results show that root colonization, AMF spore population, and shoot dry weight in 75% PVA + 25% TS were equal to those in 100% PVA. Root colonization, AMF spore population, shoot P content, and shoot P concentration were greater for 50% PVA + 50% TS than 100% PVA, 100% TS, and no coating. A mixture of 50% PVA + 50% TS was considered the preferred sticker. Thus, the tapioca starch can be used to substitute 25 - 50% of the PVA used without reducing AMF inoculant adhering to seed.Keywords: polymeric seed coating, seed coating formulation, arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi, sustainable coating adhesive, seed inoculation, seed inoculant

Abstract

This study discusses the role of the teacher as a facilitator of the use of Indonesian in the learning process. The teacher is a very important person in the world of education in the teaching and learning process as a mediator, facilitator, and leader in the classroom. Teachers and students must be able to communicate well as the principle of communication between teachers and students so that learning runs well. Even during a pandemic like now. Teachers are required to be more varied and wise in learning and to form closeness with students. The focus of this research is how the teacher's role as a facilitator of the use of Indonesian in Elementary School. Study on the use of Video Calls in Class 1 Learning at Muhammadiyah Elementary School Plus Salatiga. This study used interview, documentation, and observation techniques with two teachers, two students, and two student guardians. This research uses descriptive qualitative research methods. Abstract

This study discusses the role of the teacher in increasing student motivation in learning Indonesian. The teacher is a very important figure in the teaching and learning process as a mediator, facilitator, and leader in the class. Teachers and students must be able to communicate well as the principle of communication between teacher and students so that learning goes well. The focus of this research is how the teacher's role in increasing student motivation towards learning Indonesian in Muhammadiyah Plus Salatiga Elementary School. This study uses a questionnaire or questionnaire technique with a population of 53 teachers and 30 subjects or half of the subjects.
