Abstract

The appears of the popularity of web technologies and applications have created a vast opportunity for organizations, including institutions of higher education. With the presence of Academic information systems (SiAkad) that is in STTNAS, then do some research to find out the intention of the behavior in the use of Academic information systems using the UTAUT model (Unified Theory Of Acceptance And Use Of Technology). The phenomenon underlying this study is: not yet optimal use of Academic information systems by civitas academic (professors, students and employees) in the process of learning and socializing, so the existence of maximal and havent yet SiAkad his crisp utilization impact of its use for the entire civitas academic. The study was limited in its scope: the analysis of the influence of Performance Expextancy, Expextancy Effort, Social Influence and Facilitating Condition against the intention SiAkad usage behavior in STTNAS in Yogyakarta. The data in the study on the test with the SEM analysis tool (Structural Equation Modeling). SEM is a tool of statistical analysis that are used to complete the research of multilevel models simultaneously. SEM can be used to solve equations with variables that make up the path. Research results based on the analysis and discussion is a variable PerformanceExpectancy (PE), Social Influence (SI) and Facilitating Condition (FC) effect significantly to Behavioral Intention, while variable Effort Expectancy (EE) provides results that are not significant. Fourth overall Predictor is only able to explain the impact on behavioral intention of 37,6 percent.

Abstract

The development of television technology in Indonesia has growth rapidly. This fast growth is marked by the presence of 10 private television stations. Establishing a television station requires a lot of expense especially to build transmitter and tower antenna. This paper presents a research to design and built the diplexer system for merging two transmitter signals transmitted by an antenna transmitter. This design is conducted by using two copper pipes with diameter 3.2 cm and 1.4 cm. The use of different sizes of diameter is intended to obtain impedance characteristic (ZO) equal to 50 Ω. The copper pipe is designed to form a system diplexer with open and close end of transmission. There are two mixing frequency tested, those are 620 MHz ( at terminal A) and 600 MHz (at terminal B). The result shows that terminal A acts as a band pass filter for frequency around 620 MHz and a filter stop band for frequency around 600 MHz . Terminal B acts as a band pass filter for frequency around 600 MHz and as a stop band for frequency around 620 MHz. Based on the results obtained,  this diplexer can be applied to merge two television transmitters with carrier frequency of 600 MHZ and 620 MHz within a single antenna.

Abstract

Understanding the concepts based on problem solving is not an easy methodology in teaching the impact of power systems stabilizer (PSS) on transient synchronous generator using MATLAB capability. Experiments conducted in simulating sessions play an important role in this teaching. This simulation can simulate power system stability behavior with reasonable accuracy in less time. This transient phenomenon of a power system utilizing synchronous generator and modelling by fully three-phase model with changes in stator flux linkages neglected is analyzed by employed single machine infinite bus taken to the power system. Whereas a power system stabilizer which consist of a wash-out circuit, two stages of compensation, a filter unit, and a limiter, is applied to control voltage and frequency of power systems in transient condition. Proportional-integral-derivative (PID) controller tuned by Ziegler-Nichols’s method is cascaded to conventional PSS in order to enhance the response time of system while providing a better result in damping for oscillation. This gives the clear idea about PSS and PID controller impacts on transient synchronous generator and its enhancement to the students of electrical engineering program, Institut Teknologi Nasional Yogyakarta.

Abstract

A wheelchair is a tool that can be used to mobilize patients who experience paralysis, especially paralysis in the legs, so they can move from one place to another independently. An electric wheelchair is a type of wheelchair that can be controlled by a patient without having to be controlled by another person. The design of this tool utilizes an ADXL335 accelerometer sensor mounted on the patient's head as a determinant of the direction of wheelchair movement, BTS7960 as a DC motor driver, a motor wiper as the main drive for a wheelchair, and the Atmega328P microcontroller as an input and output processor. Gestures of the patient's head (looking down, looking up, head tilted to the right, tilting left) will produce a different voltage output which will be processed by Atmega328P as a determinant of the direction of motion which will be sent to the BTS790 driver to drive the wiper motor as the main driver of the wheelchair. The method of testing and measurement carried out by testing the response of the ADXL335 accelerometer sensor, with the test results of the ADXL335 accelerometer sensor having an accuracy of determining the direction of motion of 100%. The results of head gesture control testing the average wheelchair speed of 2.3 km / hour with a patient weight of 40-60 kg, and the test results of battery endurance in a wheelchair of 5.07 hours with a patient weight of 40-70 kg with a 12V18Ah battery.

Abstract

Every corner of the building and room has been available bin. Not all bins have different colors. This condition makes the performance was less precise and less optimal. Often find out,  still waste not match in the available place. As a result, inappropriate sorting of waste can cause problems that affect the environment. Convenience  and beauty can no longer be felt. So, it needs an innovation which waste can be disposed based on its type, so that sorting and service  becomes easier. "Littering Smart Detection Forms the Love Environment Mindset" the solution to trash problems. The working system of this tool uses raspberry pi as a performance brain. The embedded camera sensor will detect someone who is throwing waste. If it does not enter into the bin that is already available, a reminder and instructions will be given to make the trash dumper aware. Take back and place it in the container provided. Waste will be detected through a combination of infrared sensors and inductive and capacitive sensors. Abstract

Abstract Total blackouts (on August 04, 2019) in the Special Capital Region of Jakarta have an impact to daily the economy and the cessation of MRT (Mass Rapid Transit) public transportation services, as well as public communication systems. The determination of the value of the voltage gradient for knowing of the black-out was used the method of analyses to the exposure of the electric fields under the Extra High Voltage (EHV) transmission lines 500 kV, at the span of the tower T.434 and T.435 in Malon hamlet, Gunung-Pati village, districts of Gunung-Pati, Semarang city - central Java. The analysis of the electric field exposured has been carried out in a simulation using a Matlab softwere by solving the simultaneous equations model that corresponding to the tower configuration system and how many conductors were used. The results of the simulation showed that there was a failure of air insulation between phase conductors and the trees of Sengon (Paraserianthes-Falcataria) at a value of voltage gradient of 32 448.10 kV / m, 66 861.13 kV / m, and 33 129.75 kV / m, each were for the lateral distance of 10 m, 12 m, and 14 m from the tower axis T.434 and T.435. Abstract

Dalam rangka peningkatan pelayanan dan pengembangan manajemen suatu Unit Usaha Kecil dan  Menengah (UKM) adalah mengimplementasikan sistem teknologi informasi berbasis komputer (database server-client) dalam sistem managemennya. Masalah yang terjadi dalam implementasi sistem ini adalah perencanaan dan perancangan sistem manajemen server database termasuk sistem pemeliharaan dan monitoring, yang terkendala dengan kualitas SDM (Sumber Daya Manusia) yang ada terutama administrator dan teknisi, jarak jauh, perangkat dan flatform yang berbeda, secara aman, efektif, efisien, dan ekonomis. Selain masalah tersebut diperlukan suatu sistem pemeliharaan dan monitoring agar unit server (server database) dapat dipastikan bekerja dengan baik dan stabil. Hal ini dikarenakan sifat dan kebutuhan dari perangkat keras (hardware) mapun perangkat lunak (software) yang selalu mengalami perubahan. Untuk hardware perubahan biasanya terjadi karena kualitas bahan, usia, faktor lingkungan/alam, kualitas power-supply, dan kebutuhan perubahan pengaturan (setting), sedangkan software terjadi karena perubahan kebijakan, perubahan database setiap waktu, update sistem, kebutuhan eksplorasi data dan lainnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan perancangan (design) sistem pemeliharaan dan monitoring server database secara remote-control berbasis VPN (Virtual Private Network) dengan efektif, efisien, ekonomis dan aman, dengan metode OMA dan VPN, yang dilakukan pada suatu obyek UKM di perusahaan dagang dengan tambahan sistem manajemen (perencanaan dan perancangan server database meliputi sistem pemeliharaan dan  monitoring server database. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian terhadap sistem pemantauan server database berbasis teamveiwer dapat  berjalan dengan baik. Dan Sistem pemantauan server database berbasis teamveiwer dapat dilakukan dengan efektif, efisien, ekonomis dan aman. Kata kunci: Server, database, VPN, OMA

Abstract

Alat pendeteksi warna RGB menggunakan sensor TCS34725 berbasis mikrokontroler Atmega 328p di untuk menentukan warna sesuai kebutuhan pengguna. Metode untuk membuat alat ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif yaitu mengumpulkan data, diolah dan dianalisis untuk dicari hubungan variabel yang akan diteliti. Pengumpulan data berupa pengujian alat dengan memperhatikan dimensi objek, jarak objek, dan intensitas cahaya dari luar. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa sensor berfungsi dengan baik jika dimensi objek lebih dari 1cm2, jarak objek dengan sensor 3mm, dan intensitas cahaya yang masuk tidak banyak.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk membuat prototipe sistem keamanan pintu dengan metode pengenalan wajah untuk mengendalikan kunci solenoid pada sebuah pintu. Sistem ini dibuat berbasis Internet of Things (IoT) berfungsi mengendalikan kunci solenoid dan bertukar informasi secara real time. Kunci solenoid akan terbuka secara otomatis saat sensor kamera menangkap citra wajah dan dicocokkan dengan citra yang sebelumnya sudah direkam dan disimpan di database sistem. Sistem dapat dikendalikan menggunakan smartphone/komputer yang terhubung melalui aplikasi Telegram Messenger. Hasil berupa sistem deteksi pengenalan wajah untuk membuka kunci solenoid dengan akurasi 92%. Sistem mampu membuka kunci solenoid secara otomatis berdasarkan kesesuaian citra. Rata-rata waktu pengiriman notifikasi berupa citra dan teks adalah 4 detik dan 0,5 detik. Dengan kata lain sistem telah bekerja dengan baik.
