Abstract

Kegiatan ini merupakan kegiatan IbM (IPTEK bagi Masyarakat) yang berupa program pendidikan lingkungan hidup melalui kegiatan duta lingkungan hidup sekolah. Duta Lingkungan Hidup Sekolah merupakan perwakilan individu terpilih pada tingkat sekolah  yang memiliki pengetahuan dan berperan aktif dalam bidang lingkungan hidup. Mitra IbM yaitu Dinas Lingkungan Hidup (DLH) Kabupaten Tegal dan Dinas Lingkungan Hidup dan Pengelolaan Sampah (DLHPS). Duta Lingkungan Hidup dilaksanakan dalam 3 Tahap, tahap I merupakan tes kemampuan kognitif, tahap II merupakan uji kreativitas (membuat produk daur ulang) atau uji ide/ gagasan dalam memecahkan permasalahan lingkungan, sedangkan tahap III merupakan tahap orasi ilmiah. Pemilihan Duta Lingkungan Hidup Kabupaten Tegal diikuti oleh 80 peserta, sedangkan di Kabupaten Brebes diikuti oleh 71 peserta. Di akhir kegiatan telah terpilih Duta Lingkungan Hidup I, II, dan II untuk Kabupaten Brebes dan Kabupaten Tegal. Selain itu terpilih juga Duta Lingkungan Hidup Favorit yang penilaiannya didasarkan atas keunikan kostum saat pelaksanaan kampanye Go Green. Kegiatan Duta Lingkungan, diharapkan dapat menjadi program rutin pemerintah setempat. Kegiatan ini juga dapat menjadi media kerjasama berbagai pihak baik pemerintah, akademisi, swasta, dan masyarakat, sehingga menumbuhkan semangat untuk menciptakan lingkungan yang Bersih, Elok, Nyaman, Aman dari polusi dan penuh pengHijauan. Kata Kunci : Duta Lingkungan Hidup, Pendidikan Lingkungan Hidup

Abstract

Abstract ___________________________________________________________________ This research aims to find out the comparison between of the students physics concept understanding who take the lesson using the Predict-Observe-Explain (POE) models with experiment methods and demonstration methods. This research is a quasi-experimental research design pretest-Post Test Control Group Design. The population in this study was 212 students, then take a sample of 60 students who carried out based on non-random techniques conditional. Samples were taken as many as 60 students divided into two experimental classes. Data collection methods used pretest to obtain data on students’ physics concept understanding before being given treatment and posttest to obtain data on students’ physics concept understanding after being treated. Data obtained were analyzed using Independent Samples T-test. The results showed no difference between the understanding of the students’ physics concept understanding who takes the lesson using the Predict-Observe-Explain (POE)models with experiment methods and the demonstration methods. Based on the increase in the average value of pretest and posttest, obtained an average value of the experiments class is 6.65, while the larger demonstration class is 8.33. This suggests that physics learning using POE models with experiment methods are no better to improve students’ physics concept understanding compared using POE models with demonstration methods.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui perbedaan dan pengaruh serta mengetahui keefektifan penggunaan model inkuiri terbimbing berbantuan pop-up book untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif perserta didik. Pengambilan data yang diambil dengan teknis tes, lembar observasi, dan angket. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu uji t-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa, terdapat perbedaan dan pengaruh hasil belajar kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen pada pembelajaran yang menggunakan model inkuiri terbimbing berbantuan pop-up book dilihat dari hasil kemampuan awal dan kemampuan akhir peserta didik. Penelitian ini juga mengukur keefektifan model ikuiri terbimbing berbantuan pop-up book untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif peserta didik. Hasil analisis pada kelas eksperimen menggunakan N-Gain memperoleh rata- rata nilai sebesar 56,24 lebih besar dari kelas kontrol yang memperoleh rata-rata sebesar 45,1. Hal ini menunjukan bahwa pembelajaran IPA lebih efektif menggunakan model inkuiri terbimbing berbantuan pop-up book daripada hanya menggunakan model inkuiri terbimbing The purpose of this study is to determine the differences and effects and to determine the effectiveness of the use of guided inquiry models assisted by pop-up books to improve students' creative thinking abilities. Retrieval of data taken with technical tests, observation sheets, and questionnaires. The data analysis technique used is the t-test. The results showed that, there were differences and the influence of the learning outcomes of the control class and the experimental class on learning using the guided inquiry model aided by pop-up books viewed from the results of the students' initial and final abilities. This study also measures the effectiveness of the guided inquiry model assisted by pop-up books to improve students' creative thinking abilities. The results of the analysis in the experimental class using N-Gain obtained an average value of 56.24 greater than the control class which obtained an average of 45.1. This shows that science learning is more effective using the guided inquiry model assisted by pop-up books than only using the guided inquiry model.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui peningkatan creative thinking skill peserta didik antara penerapan model cooperative learning berbantu peta konsep dengan penerapan model cooperative learning tanpa peta konsep pada tema pencemaran lingkungan. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada peserta didik kelas VII di SMP Negeri 8 Pemalang. Desain penelitian ini adalah pretest-postest control group design. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling. Pengujian penelitian ini menggunakan uji paired sample t-test. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu soal pretest dan postest berbentuk uraian dengan 7 soal,  lembar observasi dan lembar penilaian hasil tugas mandiri peserta didik.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ada peningkatan yang signifikan dengan nilai signifikansi pada kelas eksperimen sebesar 0,016<0,05 dan pada kelas kontrol sebesar 0,013<0,05 antara penerapan model cooperative learning berbantu peta konsep dan model cooperative learning tanpa peta konsep untuk meningkatkan creative thinking skill peserta didik pada tema pencemaran lingkungan. This study aims to determine the improvement of students' creative thinking skills between the application of cooperative learning models assisted with concept maps and the implementation of cooperative learning models without concept maps on the theme of environmental pollution. This research was conducted on grade VII students at SMP Negeri 8 Pemalang. The design of this study was the pretest-posttest control group design. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. The testing of this study used a paired sample t-test. The instrument used was a matter of pretest and posttest in the form of a description with seven questions, an observation sheet, and an assessment sheet of students' independent assignment results. The results showed a significant increase with a significance value in the experimental class of 0.016 <0.05 and in the control class of 0.013 <0.05 between the application of cooperative learning models assisted with concept maps and cooperative learning models without concept maps to improve participants' creative thinking skills students on the theme of environmental pollution.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik dengan menggunakan model discovery learning pada materi pemanasan global. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada kelas VII di SMP Negeri 2 Taman Pemalang tahun pelajaran 2018/2019. Pengambilan sampel penelitian menggunakan teknik multi stage random sampling dengan mengambil dua kelas dari populasi untuk kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen. Pengumpulan data menggunakan metode tes dengan soal uraian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan model discovery learning keterampilan berpikir kritis yang di diperoleh peserta didik meningkat. Hal ini ditunjukkan dari pada kenaikan persentase peserta didik yang mulanya 100% pada kategori kurang kritis menjadi 4% pada kategori sangat kritis, 56% kritis, 36% cukup kritis dan 4% kurang kritis. This study aims to determine the increase in students' critical thinking skills by using discovery learning models on global warming material. This research was conducted in class VII at Taman Pemalang State Middle School 2 in the 2018/2019 academic year. Sampling research uses a multi-stage random sampling technique by taking two classes from the population for the control class and the experimental class. Data collection using test. The results showed that the experimental class that used the discovery learning model of critical thinking skills gained by students increased. This is shown from the increase in the percentage of students who initially 100% in the less critical category to 4% in the very critical category, 56% critical, 36% quite critical, and 4% less critical.

Abstract

E-learning based learning is a trend in era 4.0 that requires learning readiness. This study is aimed at (1) developing GS-based e-learning readiness scale items to empower standardized TCKs; (2) validating the scale of e-learning readiness using Rasch modeling. The method used is the research on the development of modified Plomps according to needs, consisting of 3 stages, namely (1) the initial investigation stage; (2) stages of development (scale design construction); and (3) assessment stages (tests, evaluations and revisions). ata analysis using Rasch modeling with R-program 3.1.2. The results showed that the preparation of standardized e-learning learning readiness scale items through (a) study of the learning readiness scale theory; (b) defining concepts and operations; (c) determine dimensions; (d) determine indicators; (e) compile scale items; (f) rational validation by experts; (g) field trials; (h) Rasch modeling validation test. Validation of rasch modeling shows that e-learning readiness scale items are declared valid by considering aspects of content and substance. Therefore, this instrument can be applied in learning

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of the Learning Cycle 5E model on junior high school students' science process skills. This study used the Quasi-Experimental Design study with Nonequivalent control group design. The instrument used a science process skills test. The research sample is students in class VII semester II of Junior High Scool 8 Pekalongan, which purposive random sampling technique. The data were collected by essay tests of science process skills, observation sheets, and documents. Analytical data were used instrument analysis, pretest, and posttest of science process skills, etc. Based on the value of n-gain from Learning Cycle 5E class were obtained 66.33 with moderate criteria, so the Learning Cycle 5E model is moderate in science process skills. The students' responses towards the  Learning Cycle 5E model were positive, 14 of the 15 statement items included in the excellent category. It indicates that the learning cycle 5E can encourage students’ science process skills.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan multimedia pembelajaran interaktif berbasis flash pada pembelajaran Fisika. Metode penelitian ini adalah Research And Development (R&D) dengan desain penelitian meliputi: (1) mengidentifikasi potensi dan masalah; (2) mengumpulkan informasi/data; (3) desain produk; (4) valiadasi desain; (5) pembuatan produk; (6) ujicoba produk; (7) ujicoba pemakaian; dan (8) produksi. Hasil penelitian meliputi hasil uji kelayakan produk ahli materi (76% kategori layak), ahli media (80,83% kategori layak), guru fisika (81,54% kategori layak), uji pemakaian peserta didik kelompok kecil (86,67% kategori baik) dan uji pemakaian kelompok besar (88,38% kategori baik) menunjukan bahwa multimedia pembelajaran interaktif berbasis layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran fisika.
