Abstract

This research aimed to find the system features for remote, synchronous, and asynchronous communication and collaboration among the students. The research design was through an exploratory case study. The data collection method was in-depth interview with experienced supervisors and the subject coordinators. The result of the research is the necessary features to be included in the updated version of the information systems. The various coaching and mentoring features can support subject coordinators, supervisors, and students and allow them to complete the subject on time and in accordance with the standards

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic that occurred in various parts of the world resulted in a reduction in social interactions and various activities being shifted to an online basis. One of the significant impacts that occurs is lectures that are held online. To support this online lecture, there are various technological tools that are used to assist the online process, one of which is the teleconference application. In changing the offline method to online, there are many adaptations of activities that must be carried out by lecturers and students or other students in carrying out lecture activities in higher education. Therefore, this study aims to see how the technology adaptation process in online learning sees the increasing number of online-based learning activities, to then design an application that is deemed appropriate. This research was conducted using the Cognitive Walkthrough method, using 5 respondents who were assigned according to work desks and screen recording, so it was found that the use of Zoom for 4 main features could be done well, difficulties only occurred in the second scenario.

Abstract

Financial bookkeeping is the most important thing in any company. Bookkeeping manually using books and calculator, often make a lot of mistakes in calculations and accuracy. Digital bookkeeping make easier for companies to store data and evidence for each record that will be used in the books of each company. "Yanata" is a AC distributor company (Air Conditioner) that located in Surabaya. Mrs. Ribkah Soerjani as the owner of "Yanata" has some problems that add jobs and spend more time. One problem is the problem of accounting "Yanata". To obtain accurate data is not very easy. The purpose of the author to make final project is to provide solutions to design the flow of information systems to provide and teach accounting software for "Yanata". By interviewing the owner of "Yanata" to find out what are the needs for company, the author can implement Accurate software. At the end of the implementation, the author hope that the Accurate software has answered what "Yanata" needs. Keywords: company, software, Accurate, accounting, training

Abstract

E-Money is an instrument of non-cash transaction or payment instrument without the physical presence of the money. E-Money is saving the amount of money into the electronic equipment, which is then used to perform a transaction. Along the development, E-Money is increasingly being used in Indonesia. Therefore, the researchers will conduct an analysis to know if there is a significant effect of the factors such as usability, reputation and security to public confidence in Indonesia to conduct the transactions using E-Money. The purpose of this study is to determine: (a) Does the factor of usability have a significant positive effect to public confidence in Indonesia to do the transactions by using E-Money, (b) Does the factor of reputation have a significant positive effect to public confidence in Indonesia to do the transactions by using E-Money (c) Does the factor of safety have a significant positive effect to public confidence in Indonesia to do the transactions by using E-Money, (d) other matters that could have a significant effect to public confidence in Indonesian to do the transactions by using E-Money. The respondents in this study will be drawn randomly to the people who have been using E-Money as an instrument of the transactions. This research was conducted by using Path Analysis after previously doing normality testing, validity testing, and reliability testing. The results of this study prove that: (1) the existence of a significant positive effect of reputation to public confidence in using E-Money (2) the existence of a significant positive effect of a security to public confidence in using of E-Money (3) the existence of a significant positive effect of a reputation to public confidence in using of E-Money (4) the existence of a significant positive effect of a usability to reputation in using of E-Money (5) the existence of a significant positive effect of a usability to security in using of E-Money. This study also serves to provide input to the various parties, such as the vendors of E-Money developers, community as the users and potential users of E-Money, as well as the students and academics who are interested in studying E-Money. This research models is good because the results is significant between variable as a hypothesis.

Abstract

As we know, currently the use of mobile e-commerce is becoming a trend as an opening for entrepreneurs. As a supporter of creative entrepreneurship, it is necessary to develop a user interface and user experience. To create a quality mobile application, one of the steps that can be taken is to carry out a usability testing. This study aims to measure and provide recommendation for improvements in e-commerce based on the Shopee mobile application based on the results of the usability evaluation which is reviewed by Shopee users, effectiveness, efficiency and satisfaction. After conducting usability testing on e-commerce based on Shopee’s mobile apps with the cognitive walkthrough method and the System Usability Scale (SUS), the results of the research on aspects of effectiveness are 93%, the level of speed efficiency every second is 0,08 and 72% satisfaction. To increase the usability level of e-commerce based apps, this study designed a recommendation on the Shopee e-commerce application that changes the layout of the pages and menus, and the others is simplifies the display.

Abstract

Pelatihan workshop yang dilakukan oleh Program Studi Sistem Informasi, Fakultas Teknologi Informasi, Universitas Ciputra bertujuan untuk memperluas wawasan para siswa-siswa yang bersekolah di SMA Katolik Rajawali Makassar dalam hal pengetahuan akan pengantar dalam dunia Sistem Informasi yang semakin gencar digunakan pada era sekarang ini. SMA Katolik Rajawali Makassar dipilih berdasarkan hasil penawaran dari SMA tersebut dan koordinasi dari tim Universitas Ciputra dan guru yang ada disana. Koordinasi dilakukan melalui WhatsApp messenger maupun menelpon langsung. Hal dilakukan karena pelatihan ini dilakukan online pada masa pandemic Covid-19. Pelatihan ini diperuntukkan untuk pada siswa-siswi SMA Katolik Rajawali Makassar. Melalui kegiatan ini, para murid mendapatkan pemaparan mengenai software, hardware, brainware, serta coaching dalam pembuatan “Standard Operating Procedure” dari dosen Universitas Ciputra dibantu dengan asisten dosen yaitu mahasiswa-mahasiswa jurusan Sistem Informasi di Universitas Ciputra. Setelah mengikuti kegiatan ini, diharapkan para siswa telah dibekali dengan pengetahuan dasar Sistem Informasi dan bisa membuat SOP untuk menetapkan sebuah standar dalam suatu proses bisnis atau kegiatan.

Abstract

A website becomes an important thing for an institution especially in education. A website may give picture of an educational institution. This attracts the author to do a research on a website. The objective of this study is to evaluate the quality of the website of the library of Ciputra University, Surabaya. WebQual 4.0 and the Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA) is used. The 50 respondents are users of the Library of the Ciputra University, which are students and lecturers. Data collection done by questionnaire which contains three variables: usability, information quality, and service interaction quality. They spread into 22 items of questions. The result shows that the evaluated website has 99.2% of the respondent are satisfied with the services. The gap level is 1.21 which shows that the performance of the evaluated website is bellow expectation. The quadrant analysis found two main attributes which are US5 (the website has an interesting display) and KL3 (the user feels safe about their personal data in the website).

Abstract

In the digital era which continues to develop rapidly, information technology has helped many people's daily activities. This digital transformation includes the implementation of various mobile applications specifically designed to facilitate the teaching and learning process and help students achieve their academic goals. This student mobile application offers a variety of features that can increase efficiency, productivity and student learning experience. Therefore, this research is conducted to understand the acceptance and usage of mobile applications by students using the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) aims to explain and estimate user acceptance of an information system. Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) provides a theoretical basis for knowing the factors that influence the acceptance of a technology in an organization. In this research, we take 102 people as respondents. We use Perceived Usefulness (PU), Perceived Ease of Use (PEOU), Self-Service Technology (SST), as the independent variables and Actual Use (AU) as a dependent variable. We run multilinear regression and gain the result: Actual Use (AU) = 1.297 + 0.298PU + 0.415PEOU + 0.019SST. It can be seen that the Perceived Usefulness (PU) and Perceived Ease of Use (PEOU) variables have a significant positive effect on the Actual Use (AU) variable, while it is also seen that the Self-Service Technology (SST) variable does not have a significant positive effect on the Actual Use (AU) variable but instead has a negative effect on the Actual Use (AU) variable.

Abstract

Kemajuan Teknologi Informasi di Indonesia semakin memberikan dukungan dalam berbagai aktivitas dan kegiatan masyarakat, termasuk didalamnya memberikan kemudahan pada berbagai aspek kegiatan bisnis. Salah satu bisnis yang memanfaatkan Teknologi Informasi adalah penjualan tiket pesawat. Traveloka adalah salah satu situs E-Commerce layanan pencarian dan booking tiket pesawat online di Indonesia. Dalam penelitian ini, digunakan teori Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) dengan menambahkan dua extended variabel Trust dan Perceived Risk dengan tujuan mengetahui faktor-faktor apa saja yang berpengaruh signifikan terhadap adopsi Traveloka di Indonesia melalui Analisis Jalur dengan menggunakan software SPSS dan AMOS.
