Abstract

AbstrakTujuan penelitian adalah mengembangkan materi pembelajaran pada suatu platform e-learning berbasis opensource dan Learning Management System (LMS) sebagai media pembelajaran secara Blended Learning. Pembelajaran dilakukan pada mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam (IPA). Media tersebut diharapkan dapat digunakan sebagai suplemen pembelajaran atau alat bantu untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar dan keterampilan kolaborasi peserta didik kelas VII SMP Terpadu Daarul Muttaqien Surabaya. Penelitian pengembangan ini menggunakan platform Course Networking untuk mendesain dan mengatur pembelajaran. Prosedur pengembangan media pembelajaran menggunakan model pengembangan Borg & Gall. Dengan 10 tahapan yaitu, (1) Identifikasi kebutuhan instruksional, (2) Analisis Tujuan Instruksional, (3) Mengidentifikasi karakteristik dan konteks awal peserta didik, (4) Penjabaran tujuan instruksional umum ke dalam tujuan instruksional khusus, (5) Mengembangkan instrumen penilaian, (6) Mengembangkan strategi instruksional, (7) Mengembangkan bahan ajar (materi), (8) Mendesain dan menyelenggarakan evaluasi formatif, (9) Revisi instruksional, (10)  Mendesain dan melakukan evaluasi sumatif. Produk pengembangan yang dihasilkan berbentuk (1) model web learning materi ekosistem, dan (2) panduan penggunaan untuk peserta didik dan guru. Pengembangan media ini telah diujicoba pada kegiatan pembelajaran untuk materi ekosistem kelas VII SMP Terpadu Daarul Muttaqien Surabaya semester genap tepatnya pada bulan Maret hingga awal Mei tahun pelajaran 2015. Hasil pengembangan telah divalidasi ahli materi dan ahli media masing-masing mendapatkan prosentase 77,17% dan 77,5%. Hasil tersebut menunjukkan hasil pengembangan produk sudah baik dan layak untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran. Untuk hasil implementasi penggunaan media dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar dan keterampilan kolaborasi peserta didik, digunakan uji T Independen, yang menunjukkan hasil post-test hasil belajar menunjukkan thitung = 2,079 , sedangkan keterampilan kolaborasi thitung = 1,127, dengan ttabel = 2,000 (signifikansi 5%, df=60). Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran secara blended learning, yaitu pengembangan materi pembelajaran dalam platform Course Networking tersebut dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik, namun belum dapat meningkatkan keterampilan kolaborasi peserta didik. AbstractThe purpose of research is to develop learning material on an e-learning platform based on open source and the Learning Management System (LMS) as a medium of learning in Blended Learning course. Media are expected to be used as a learning supplement and be a learning tool to improve learning outcomes and collaborative skills of students of class VII SMP Integrated Daarul Muttaqien Surabaya. This development research Course Networking platform to design and organize learning. Procedure development of instructional media used development model of Borg & Gall. With 10 stages, namely, (1) identification of instructional needs, (2) Analysis of Instructional Objectives, (3) Identify the characteristics and context of early learners, (4) Translation of instructional objectives general to the specific instructional objectives, (5) Developing assessment instruments, (6) Develop instructional strategies, (7) Develop teaching material (material), (8) Designing and conducting formative evaluation, (9) Revision instructional, (10) Design and conduct summative evaluation. The resulting shaped product development (1) model of learning material web ecosystem, and (2) guidelines for the use of students and teachers. The development of this medium has been tested on learning activities for class VII SMP material Integrated ecosystem Daarul Muttaqien Surabaya precisely semester from March to early May in the academic year 2015. The result of the development of a validated matter experts and media experts each get a percentage of 77.17% and 77.5%. These results show the results of product development has been good and deserve to be used in learning. For the implementation of the use of media in improving learning outcomes and skills of collaborative learners, used the T test Independent, which shows the results of post-test learning results showed t = 2.079, while the skills of collaboration t = 1.127, with table = 2.000 (5% significance, df = 60). This shows that by using media learning blended learning, namely the development of learning materials in the Course Networking platform that can improve student learning outcomes, but has not been able to improve the collaboration skills of learners.

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pengembangan perangkat CTL di kelas IV sekolah dasar, mendeskripsikan hasil validasi dan hasil belajar dari implementasi perangkat pembelajaran dengan menggunakan model pengembangan 4-D yang direduksi menjadi 3-D, yaitu define, design, dan develop. Perangkat pembelajaran yang dikembangkan meliput rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran (RPP), lembar kerja siswa (LKS), dan tes hasil belajar (THB) yang diujicobakan pada kelas IV B sebagai eksperimen terdiri atas 30 siswa, dan kelas IV A sebagai kelas control terdiri atas 30 siswa di SD GMIT Ende. Uji coba perangkat pada penelitian ini menggunakan pre-tes dan post tes dengan teknik analisis statistik.Instrument penelitian terdiri atas lembar pengamatan keterlaksanaan pembelajaran, lembar aktifitas siswa, lembar angket respon siswa, dan lembar tes hasil belajar siswa serta lembar kendala-kendala. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik observasi, tes, dan angket.AbstractAnalisis hasil penelitian diperoleh fakta bahwa penggunaan perangkat pembelajaran dengan pendekatan CTL dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa 43,33% (pada pre-tes) sementara pada post tes menjadi 100%. Hasil belajar siswa tergolong sangat baik dengan rata-rata jawaban benar 87,66 untuk tes hasil belajar.This study aims to describe the development of CTL in the fourth grade of primary school, describe the results of the validation and implementation of the learning material through 4-D model of development which is reduced to 3-D, namely define, design, and develop. The materials covers the lesson plan (RPP), students’ worksheet (LKS), and the test results (THB) taken from the fourth grade (Class IV B) as the experiment consisted of 30 students, and class IV A as the control class consists of 30 students in  SD GMIT Ende. Testing device in this study uses pre-test and post-test with statistical analysis techniques.Moreover, research instrument consists of a sheet of observation for teaching and learning process, students’ questionnaire sheets, student’ achievement test sheet, and constraints. The data were collected by observation techniques, test, and questionnaire.The results indicated that the use of learning materials with CTL approach can improve student learning outcomes 43.33% (the pre-test) while the post-test to 100%. Student learning outcomes as very good with an average of 87.66 correct answers in test outcomes.Based on the above results, it can be concluded that the CTL in the fourth graders of elementary school is valid and is able to improve their learning outcomes. It is expected that this research will be useful for teachers in developing such instructional design oriented towards the development of CTL strategy to learning with other study materials.

Abstract

This research is applied to tenth graders of SMKN 1 Pungging to investigate the influence of teaching writing descriptive text ability using mind mapping technique with think pair share strategy. This population of this research is the tent graders that consist of 620 students which is taken 64 students as the sample. There are two classes; they are X TKJ 1 which is applied by teaching writing descriptive text using mapping technique with think pair share strategy and X TKJ 2 which is taught writing descriptive text by conventional technique. However, both of the groups were taught the same materials based on the curriculum. This study used pretest-posttest non-equivalent control group design for experimental and control groups. The pre test and post test were administered not only to the experimental group but also the control group. The pre test is as starting point to verify the condition of both groups. Finally,  at the end of the treatment, the experimental group and the control group received a post test; the result of the post test was to define the significance difference between the experimental group and the control group. The result is there is significance difference between the classes which is taught writing descriptive text using mind mapping technique with think pair share strategy and which is taught writing descriptive by the conventional technique. The result calculated by SPSS 20.0; it is a computer program statistical calculation and the result is further discussed in Hypothesis Testing. It is approved that the mean of post-test of experimental group is increased from 58.28 to 80.16. It can be noticed that the mean of the post-test of experimental is 21.72 higher than the mean of post-test of control group.
