Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors that can affect stock returns. In this study, the variables of profitability, dividend policy, sales growth, operating cash flow, and volume of stock trading were used. This study intends to determine the effect of profitability, dividend policy, sales growth, operating cash flow, and stock trading volume on stock returns simultaneously and partially. This research is a study using quantitative research methods with the purpose of descriptive-causative nature. The unit of analysis that is the focus of this study is the consumer goods industry sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2014-2017 with a purposive sampling technique. This study used 12 research samples for three years of research and used panel data regression analysis with EViews 9. The results showed that profitability, dividend policy, sales growth, operating cash flow, and stock trading volume had an effect on simultaneous stock returns. Partially, the variable sales growth affects stock returns, while profitability, dividend policy, operating cash flow, and stock trading volume do not affect stock returns.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of debt to equity ratio (DER), collateralizable assets (COLLAS), sales growth (SG), free cash flow (FCF) and company size (SIZE) on dividend policy (DPR) in companies in the Industrial sector of Consumer Goods listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2013-2017. The data used in this study was obtained from financial report data taken from the official website of the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The population in this study is the consumption goods industry sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2013-2017. The sampling technique used was perposive sampling and obtained 13 companies with a research period of 5 years, so that 65 sample data were obtained. The method of data analysis in this study is panel data regression analysis using software eviews 9.0. The results of the study show that simultaneously the debt to equity ratio (DER), collateralizable assets (COLLAS), sales growth (SG), free cash flow (FCF) and company size (SIZE) has a significant effect on dividend policy (DPR). While partially the debt to equity ratio (DER) and collateralizable assets (COLLAS) have a significant effect on the negative direction of dividend policy (DPR). Company size (SIZE) has a significant effect on the positive direction of dividend policy (DPR). Sales growth (SG) and free cash flow (FCF) variables have no significant effect on dividend policy with a positive direction.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate bank’s health levels by RBBR (Risk-Based Bank Rating) method, that is credit risk, market risk, capital adequacy, good corporate governance, profitability and liquidity risk and profit growth at Indonesian State-Owned Enterprises Banking period 2011-2015. The data used in this research is obtained from financial statement data.The sampling technique used is saturation sampling/census, then the sample was taken from the entire population consists of 4 Indonesian state-owned banks with research period in 2011-2015. Data analysis method in this research is panel data regression analysis by using software Eviews version 9. Based on the results of data processing, shows that credit risk variables (NPL), market risk (NOP), Capital (CAR), GCG, Rentability (NIM), and Liquidity Risk has significant simultaneously influence to profit growth in Indonesian State-Owned Enterprises Banking 2011-2015. The The partial influence of this research shows that credit risk (NPL) has significant negative effect,market risk (PDN) has significant negative effect, capital adequacy (CAR) has significant positive effect, good corporate governance has not significant effect, profitability (NIM) has not significant effect and liquidity risk has significant positive effect toward profit’s growth.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze what factors can affect the company in earning management. This study intends to determine the effecy of independent variabels both simultaneously and passively. In this study, independent variabels were used, namely free cash flow, leverage, profitability and sales growth to earning management. The population in this study are all mining sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the period 2013-2017. The sample in this study was determined using a purposive sampling technique so that 7 companies for 5 years. The analysis technique used in this study is panel data regression analysis using the Eviews 10.0 application. Based on this result of research showed that free cash flow, leverage, profitability and sales growth has significant simultaneously on earning management. While, partially profitability has a significant effect on the positive direction on earning management and free cash flow, leverage and sales growth have no significant effect on the negative direction on earning management.
