Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar, keterampilan, dan hasil belajar Mata Diklat Gambar Sketsa siswa kelas X Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) Semen Padang dengan menerapkan model Project-based learning (PjBL). Penelitian menggunakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Ada dua siklus yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini. Masing-masing siklus terdiri dari dua kali pertemuan sehingga ada empat pertemuan untuk dua siklus. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas X Teknik Mesin 1 di SMK Semen Padang dengan jumlah 20 siswa. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah lembar observasi, tes objektif, dan rubrik. Lembar observasi digunakan untuk mengamati motivasi belajar, rubrik digunakan untuk menilai keterampilan, dan tes obyektif digunakan untuk menilai hasil belajar siswa. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan statistik deskriptif. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan motivasi belajar dan keterampilan siswa dari siklus 1 ke siklus 2 dalam Mata Diklat Gambar Sketsa dengan menerapkan model PjBL. Hasil belajar siswa juga sudah mencapai Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM).APPLICATION OF PROJECT-BASED LEARNING MODEL IN SKETCH DRAWING SUBJECTThis study was aimed at improving learning motivation, skills, and learning outcomes in the Sketch Drawing training course for students of tenth grade, Semen Padang Vocational High School by applying Project-based learning (PjBL) model. The study used Classroom Action Research (CAR). There were two cycles carried out in this study. Each cycle consists of two meetings, so there are four meetings for two cycles. The research subjects were 20 students of Class X Mechanical Engineering 1 at Semen Padang Vocational School. The research instruments used were observation sheets, objective tests, and rubrics. The observation sheets were used to observe motivation to learn, rubrics were used to assess skills, and objective tests were used to assess student learning outcomes. The data obtained then were analyzed using descriptive statistics. The results show that there is an improvement in learning motivation and student skills from cycle 1 to cycle 2 in the Sketch Drawings by appying PBL model. Student learning outcomes have also reached the Minimum Criteria of Mastery Learning (MCML).

Abstract

The problem primarily faced by vocational education institutions is a gap between skills taught at schools and skills required by the industries. This leads to the increasing unemployment rate of Vocational High School graduates. Thus relevant curriculum is required to satisfy the industry demands. This study aimed at analyzing the relevance of the productive course of hair beauty in Vocational High Schools to the job requirements in beauty salons in Padang. This study was qualitative descriptive. The data collection used interviews, observation and documentation. The data collection instruments consisted of observation sheets and interview guidelines. The data were analyzed using the stages of data reduction, presentation and conclusion. The results showed positive relevance of the productive course of hair beauty in Vocational High Schools to the job requirements in beauty salons in Padang. The skills learned in the schools were adequately relevant with the skills required by beauty salons, since from thirteen productive lessons taught in the schools, eleven of them were implemented and used in the workplaces.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi Pelaksanaan Kurikulum Honda di SMK Negeri 1 Lahat. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah penelitian evaluasi dengan model CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product). Dalam model evaluasi ini terbagi empat tahap yaitu: Context Evaluation, Input Evaluation, Process Evaluation dan Product Evaluation. Pelaksanaan Kurukulum Honda pada Paket Keahlian Teknik Sepeda Motor di SMK Negeri 1 Lahat sudah berada pada kategori baik dengan nilai ratarata TPR 81,00%.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of YouTube media with the observation method and self-confidence on learning outcomes of Heavy Equipment Technology. The population in this study were students in 2019 in the Automotive Engineering Department, Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Negeri Padang with a sample of 32 students in the experimental group and 32 students in the control group. Samples were taken by cluster sampling technique. Data were collected through validated tests. The data analysis technique used the two-way variance test (ANOVA) and Tukey test. Before testing the hypothesis, the normality test and homogeneity test were carried out first. The results of data analysis showed that YouTube learning media and confidence in learning outcomes in the Heavy Equipment Technology course obtained a higher interaction with the results of the analysis of variance for the calculated F value = 4.24> F table = 3.97 at a significant level = 0.05. Thus, YouTube learning accompanied by high self-confidence obtains better learning outcomes compared to learning the observation method.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the results of the needs analysis in the process of developing e-assessment media on the basic graphic design course. This research was a qualitative descriptive research by using survey methods in identifying the needs of students and teachers in learning assessment. In this research, the needs analysis related to the achievement of the student learning outcomes, the problems faced by the students and the media needed by students in the learning assessment process. This research used a questionnaire given to 32 students of grade X and 2 teachers of the basic graphic design subject. The results showed that: 1) there was still lack of assessment media that can be used as an independent assessment for students; 2) android-based interactive assessment media was needed on the basic graphic design subject. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that students need an interactive assessment media that can be used as an independent assessment media. In addition, these findings will be used in designing interactive e-assessments in basic graphic design subject.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghitung tingkat capaian (1) budaya belajar siswa dikelas, (2) hasil belajar KPPI siswa setelah mengikuti pembelajaran, dan (3) Pengaruh budaya belajarbelajar terhadap hasil belajar KPPI siswa SMK Muhammadiyah I Padang. Metode penelitian yangdigunakan deskriptif kuantitatif, populasi sebanyak 351 orang peserta didik, sampel dipilih sebanyak160 orang dengan teknik proporsional random sampling. Data dikumpulkan dengan angket dandokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan teknik deskriptif dan inferesial. Penelitian ini menemukan(1) budaya belajar siswa SMK Muhammadiyah I Padang berada dalam kategori baik, (2) hasil belajarKPPI SMK Muhammadiyah I Padang termasuk kategori cukup baik, dan (3) terdapat pengaruhpositif yang signifikan antara budaya belajar terhadap hasil belajar KPPI siswa SMKMuhammadiyah I Padang sebesar 8,8 %.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) hasil belajar mahasiswa pada perkuliahan tata boga II? menggunakan video (2)? hasil belajar mahasiswa pada perkuliahan tata boga II? menggunakan pembelajaran konvensional. (3)? Ada tidaknya perbedaan hasil belajar mahasiswa menggunakan video dengan pembelajaran konvensional. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen dengan bentuk Quasi Experimental Design? dengan bentuk posttest-only control group design. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Program Studi D4 Manajemen Perhotelan Universitas Negeri Padang dengan sampel penelitian diambil dari kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol, melalui teknik simpel random sampling. Pengumpulan data menggunakan pengukuran melalui tes essay. Uji asumsi yakni uji normalitas menggunakan kolmogrov smirnov, uji homogenitas menggunakan Levene Test,? sedangkan uji hipotesis menggunakan t-test. Adapun hasil penelitian yang diperoleh sebagai berikut. (1) rata-rata hasil belajar mahasiswa menggunakan video sebesar 61,58? (2) rata-rata hasil belajar mahasiswa menggunakan pembelajaran konvensional sebesar 55,86? (3) Terdapatnya perbedaan hasil belajar? mahasiswa menggunakan video dengan pembelajaran konvensional.?Kata kunci: penggunaan video, mata kuliah tata boga II

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menjelaskan pengaruh pemahaman konsep matematika terhadap penggunaan aplikasi SPSS. Jenis penelitian ini adalah assosiatif, alat pengumpulan data menggunakan tes yang disebarkan kepada 35 orang sampel yang diambil secara acak. Analisis data yang dipakai adalah analisis deskriptif dan analisis regresi linier sederhana dengan menggunakan program SPSS 20 for Windows. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan variabel pemahaman konsep matematika signifikan terhadap kemampuan penggunaan Aplikasi SPSS pada mata kuliah statistik, dengan demikian maka hipotesis(H0) diterima.Kata kunci : Pemahaman, Konsep Matematika, Aplikasi SPSS

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi masalah dalam proses pembelajaran pada sistem starter dan cahrging sytem course di SMK N 2 Sijunjung. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan kombinasi metode kuantitatif dan kualitatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif evaluatif. Mencakup aspek input, proses dan output dalam proses pembelajaran, dan model interaktif data kualitatif terdiri dari reduksi data, penyajian data dan kesimpulan. Responden dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI KR Light Vehicle Technical Skills Competency. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa input dalam proses pembelajaran dalam kategori cukup, proses dan output dalam kategori yang baik. Overal merupakan celah dalam proses pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan sistem starter dan sistem pengisian di SMK N 2 Sijunjung dalam kategori baik. Dengan demikian penerapan proses pengajaran mengacu pada standarnya dan memiliki evaluasi yang baik terhadap prestasi belajar berdasarkan penilaian autentik dan standar evaluasi.

Abstract

Internship or PPL is an activity carried out by the Faculty of Teachers Training and Education students to apply their scientific competencies which have been learned during lectures in the University. It is by placing students in public or private vocational secondary schools in the city of Pekanbaru. Student placement is often not in accordance with the students expertise so that they are not able to teach with the best efforts and ability which based on scientific field of study program at the destination school. This research is to build a decision support system by using Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) by collaborating data in vocational school study program with student academic score data to determine the objectives of internship per student.
