Abstract

The habit of having breakfast is important because the duration between the dinner andbreakfast is very long, consequently the sugar levels which is a source of energy in the body decreased.The efforts to improve the quality of human resources should be done early, systematic and continuous.The achievement of elementary school students are supported by the provision of optimal nutrition. Thisstudy aimed to analyze the correlation of breakfast habits, nutritional status and academic achievementof elementary school students. This study used a quantitative descriptive design. The approach usedcross sectional. The sample used all students totaling 180 students. The sampling technique used in thisstudy was total sampling technique. The independent variable was the morning eating habits andnutritional status of elementary school students. The dependent variable was the learning achievementof elementary school students. The statistical test used in logistic regression. Chi-square test results intable omnibus test of model coefficients equal to 89.737 with a significant level of less than 5% is 0.000,which means the morning eating habits and nutritional status had a significant correlation to studentachievement in elementary school.

Abstract

Breast Milk (ASI) contains high nutrients that are very beneficial for infant health. World Health Organization, WHO recommends infants get exclusive breastfeeding for 6 months (Infodatin, 2016) Support from the nearest person will be instrumental in the success of breastfeeding. Breastfeeding is also inseparable from the mother's commitment to breastfeeding. Efforts that can be done in the process of breastfeeding mother is hypnolaktasi techniques. This study aims to determine the effect of hypnolaktasi on mother's commitment in giving exclusive breastfeeding to her baby. This research uses a qualitative approach and the type of research is descriptive. Samples were taken by purposive sampling. The data were collected by giving an open questionnaire and interviewing the mother about hypnolactation and mother's commitment to exclusive breastfeeding to her baby. The results showed that 75% of respondents were 25-30 years old, 58% had 1 child and 83% had good knowledge about exclusive breastfeeding. Based on the interview results obtained that the benefits after doing the hypnolactation perceived the respondents are comfortable in breastfeeding and confident breastfeeding can go out smoothly and 5 respondents who do not provide infant formula to the baby until now. The conclusions of this study are knowledge, and management of hypnolactation can increase the mother's commitment in exclusive breastfeeding. Abstract

The relationship with the mother's level of anxiety in the first stage of labor active phase in BPM Atik Suharijati Surabaya. Mothers who experienced the process of labor is a physiological thing, but in reality people still think childbirth is a life and death stakes. Mothers who give birth experience anxiety levels cause birth becomes pathological. This study aims to determine the relationship with the mother's level of anxiety in the first stage of labor active phase in BPM Atik Suharijati Surabaya. Design analytical research with cross sectional approach. The population around the third trimester pregnant women who face labor in BPS Atik Suharijati in April-May 2015 of 25 respondents. A sample of 12 respondents in October was taken with the technique of "purposive sampling". Independent variables and the dependent variable levels of anxiety long active phase. Collecting data using questionnaires and partograf. Data were analyzed using the Mann Whitney test with a significance level a = 0.05. The results showed nearly half (41.7%) had mild anxiety and the majority of respondents (75%) had active phase <6 hours. Statistical test results obtained ? = 0.024 <? = 0.05, H0 is rejected means that there is a relationship with the mother's level of anxiety in the first stage of labor active phase in BPS Atik Suharijati. The conclusions of this study is the higher the mother's level of anxiety, the more disturbing the birth process to be gone through. So that health workers are expected to continue to provide information or understanding to pregnant women about childbirth and the factors that influence it.

Abstract

Makanan yang paling ideal untuk bayi adalah air susu ibu, namun demikian karena beberapa hal bayi tidak dapat memperoleh air susu ibu karena beberapa alasan seperti kesehatan ibu dan bekerja di luar rumah. Faktor-faktor yang menghambat keberhasilan menyusui pada ibu bekerja adalah pendeknya waktu cuti kerja, kurangnya dukungan tempat kerja, pendeknya waktu istirahat saat bekerja (tidak cukup waktu untuk memerah ASI), tidak adanya ruangan untuk memerah ASI, pertentangan keinginan ibu antara mempertahankan prestasi kerja dan produksi ASI. Salah satu masalah yang sering dihadapi ibu-ibu yang hendak menabung ASIP adalah hasil perah/pumping yang kurang memuaskan. Pada penelitian menjelaskan faktor faktor yang mempengaruhi volume ASI Perah menggunakan desain penelitian deskriptif kualitatif  dengan pendekatan crosectional dengan sample ibu bekerja yang memompa ASI di lingkungan UNUSA. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor yang paling berhubungan dengan volume ASI perah adalah paritas (p value 0,012), keyakinan ibu untuk bisa memberikan ASI (p value 0,009) dan frekuensi memerah (p value 0,041). Usia ibu, indeks massa tubuh ibu, alat yang digunakan untuk memompa, tempat memompa dan alat kontrasesepsi tidak berhubungan secara signifikan dengan volume ASI Perah Kata Kunci: faktor, ASI Perah, ibu bekerja.

Abstract

Directly breastfeeding requires support from the nearest person, such as family members, friends, relatives, and co-workers. The greater the support gained for breastfeeding the greater the ability to survive for breastfeeding. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of family support level with exclusive breastfeeding in Ketapang Laok Village, Ketapang District, Sampang Madura District. The type of this study is analytical with a case-control approach, the population is all breastfeeding mothers who have babies aged ≥ 6 months in the village of Ketapang Laok as many as 242 people. A sample of 170 respondents of breastfeeding mothers with infants aged ≥ 6 months was taken by cluster random sampling. The independent variable is the level of family support and the dependent variable is exclusive breastfeeding. The data were collected through a questionnaire and then analyzed using a Chi-Square test. The results showed that 85 breastfeeding mothers (case group) mostly (57.1%) received good family support and nearly half (33.3%) received less family support. Then from the control group, nearly half (42.9%) received good family support, and most (66.7%) received less family support. The result of the analysis using the Chi-Square test shows that ρ = 0,004 means there is a relationship between family support level with exclusive breastfeeding in Ketapang Laok Village Ketapang Subdistrict, Kabupaten Sampang Madura. There is a relationship between the level of family support and exclusive breastfeeding. Thus, the family is expected to provide support for the mother exclusively breastfeeding.

Abstract

Nursing mothers in the process of providing Exclusive Milk need support from the closest people such as family members, friends, relatives, colleagues and from the community. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of the level of family support for exclusive breastfeeding. This type of research is analytic with a case control approach, a sample of 170 respondents of breastfeeding mothers who have babies aged more than 6 months were taken using a cluster random sampling technique. The results showed that in the case group as many as 85 nursing mothers most (57.1%) received good family support and almost half (33.3%) received less support from the family. Then in the control group as many as 85 breastfeeding mothers, almost half (42.9%) received good family support and most (66.7%) lacked support from the family. Analysis using the chi square test results that p = 0.004 which means that H0 is rejected, which means family support can increase exclusive breastfeeding. Families and communities are expected to provide support for mothers to exclusively breastfeed.ABSTRAKIbu menyusui dalam proses memberikan Air Susu Eksklusif (ASI) memerlukan dukungan dari orang terdekat seperti anggota keluarga, teman, saudara, rekan kerja maupun dari masyarakat. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh tingkat dukungan keluarga terhadap pemberian ASI Ekslusif. Jenis penelitian adalah analitik dengan pendekatan case control, sampel sebesar 170 responden ibu menyusui yang memiliki bayi usia lebih dari 6 bulan yang diambil menggunakan teknik cluster random sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dalam kelompok kasus sebanyak 85 ibu menyusui sebagian besar (57,1%) mendapatkan dukungan keluarga yang baik dan hampir setengahnya (42,9%) kurang mendapatkan dukungan dari keluarga. Kemudian pada kelompok kontrol sebanyak 85 ibu menyusui, hampir setengahnya (33,3%) mendapatkan dukungan keluarga yang baik dan sebagian besar (66,7%) kurang mendapatkan dukungan dari keluarga. Analisis menggunakan uji chi square mendapatkan hasil bahwa p= 0,004 yang berarti H0 ditolak yang artinya dukungan keluarga dapat meningkatkan pemberian ASI Eksklusif. Keluarga dan masyarakat diharapkan dapat memberikan dukungan untuk ibu dalam memberikan ASI secara eksklusif.
