Abstract

This study aims to improve the students' abilities through the application of an environmentally-based guided inquiry learning model in grade IV SDN INPRES Kabonena and the student learning outcomes in science learning through the application of environmentally-based guided inquiry learning models in grade IV SDN INPRES Kabonena. This type of research is a classroom action research, using a spiral model design of Steven Mc. Taggart, which consists of 4 stages, namely planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. The location of the research was at SDN INPRES Kabonena, Palu City. The research subjects were 20 students, consisting of 11 male students and 9 female students. The data consists of learning data including data on teacher skills and student activities. Data collection techniques are by observation and tests. Data analysis was performed by qualitative data analysis by concluding based on the mean value or standard deviation of observations (percentage of observations). The results showed that the students' ability in learning through the observation of teacher skills in the first cycle obtained a score of 22 with a good category percentage of 61%, and in the second cycle a score of 29 was obtained with a percentage of 81%, very good criteria. The ability of students in learning based on student activities in teaching and learning activities, in the first cycle a score of 21 was obtained, with a percentage of 58% in the sufficient category, and in the second cycle, it was obtained 27.5 with a percentage of 76.4% in the good category. Meanwhile, the student ability data obtained for pre-action, the number of students who completed as many as 5 students, with classical absorption (DSK) 50% and classical learning completeness (KBK) 25%. The data on student ability in the first cycle obtained 6 students with a DSK of 57% and a CBC of 30%, an increase in the second cycle where the number of students who completed 20 students with 88% DSK and 100% CBC While the data on student learning outcomes in the first cycle obtained 8 students with a DSK of 59% and a CBC of 40%, an increase in cycle II where the number of students who completed was 20 students, with a DSK of 87% and CBC 100%. Based on these results, it can be stated that the application of an environment-based guided inquiry learning model can improve problem-solving abilities and learning outcomes of fourth-grade students of SDN INPRES Kabonena.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif yang bertujuan untuk menganalisis informasi tentang gambaran hasil belajar fisika di SMA Negeri 2 Polewali tahun ajaran 2019/2020. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas XI  MIPA SMA Negeri 2 Polewali yang berjumlah 103 orang. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk memperoleh data kemampuan kognitif peserta didik dengan memberikan tes tertulis berupa pilihan ganda diakhir pembelajaran dan untuk memperoleh data kemampuan psikomotorik peserta didik dengan menggunakan lembar observasi serta ranah afektif menggunakan instrumen penilaian diri. Berdasarkan analisis statistik deskriptif diperoleh gambaran kemampuan kognitif peserta didik berada pada kategori tinggi dan gambaran kemampuan psikomotorik peserta didik berada pada kategori cukup terampil serta gambaran ranah afektif peserta didik berada pada kategori baik

Abstract

The use of cocoa pod husk biochar and various biological agents in the planting medium significantly increased the growth of cocoa seedlings. The research was conducted using a Randomized Block Design (RBD) with a Split Plot pattern.  The main factors consisted of 2 (two) treatment levels, namely: B0 (without biochar of cocoa pod skin) and B1 (15 g of cocoa pod husk biochar), while the child factors consisted of 4 (four) treatment levels, namely: A0 (without biological agents), M (arbuscular mycorrhiza 15 g), MR (arbuscular mycorrhizae 15 g + 15 ml rhizobacteria) and MT (arbuscular mycorrhizae 15 g + Trichoderma sp. 15 ml), so that there are 8 (eight) treatment combinations, namely: B0A0 (without biochar and without biological agents), B0M (without cocoa pod husk biochar + arbuscular mycorrhizae 15 g), B0MR (without cocoa pod husk biochar + arbuscular mycorrhizae 15 g + rhizobacteria 15 ml), B0MT (without cocoa pod husk biochar + arbuscular mycorrhiza 15 g + Trichoderma sp. 15 ml), B1A0 (cocoa pod husk biochar 15 g + without biological agents), B1M (cocoa pod husk biochar 15 g + arbuscular mycorrhizae 15 g), B1MR (cocoa pod husk biochar 15 g + arbuscular mycorrhizae 15 g + rhizobacteria 15 ml), B1MT (cocoa pod husk biochar 15 g + arbuscular mycorrhizae 15 g + Trichoderma sp. 15 ml), which repeated 4 (four) times so that there are 32 experimental units.  The variables observed were plant height, total leaf area, number of leaves, root length, root dry weight, shoot dry weight. The results showed that the interaction of cocoa pod husk biochar and biological agents had no significant effect on the growth of cocoa seedlings. Application of cocoa pod husk biochar 15 g/polybag had a significant effect in increasing the growth of cocoa seedlings compared to without cocoa pod husk biochar, while the application of biological agents was shown in the 15 g arbuscular mycorrhizae + Trichoderma sp. 15 ml / polybag has a very significant effect on increasing the growth of cocoa seedlings compared to without biological agents.Keywords:  Biochar, arbuscular  mycorrhizal, nutrient uptake.
